Upon entering, I received a warm and delightful greeting from Kristin and Grace. They explained their menu concept and services they offered. It just also happened to be Wednesday and on every Wednesday, they offer waffles and each waffle with any topping of your choice. Each waffle has up to 22 grams of protein. RISE UP offers a healthy snack/meal choice for shakes, teas, and snacks. Shakes have around 24g of protein, 24 vitamins and Minerals, with up to 350 calories based on the shake option. Great tasting teas! Today was my first visit but I went with a friend so we ordered two different drinks. The drinks look amazing ( instagram worthy) online. In person the Captain Puerto Rico came out perfect, the TMNT which is a rainbow colored drink didn't come out like the ones online but it had a great taste. I would recommend that if you are going to pay $6+ for tea then filtered water is a must. Parking is convenient you can usually find a space for free. I will be visiting again soon and trying one of their shakes next, in addition to teas they offer shakes and combos with tea and shakes mixed. read more

I have been wanting to visit this place for a while. Finally got a chance to make it during open hours. I got the shake and tea combo and I made 2 great choices with the snickers shake and the deadpool tea which is a combination of raspberry and pomegranate. This Evening was our first time coming to Rise up. We had a flyer from Terrine and wanted to discover what the cafe had to offer. We were pleasantly surprised by how delicious the mango teas were and the Key lime shakes. The place is clean and inviting. I stopped by Tuesday around 4pm-ish to finally try a shake. I've heard great things about this place but for some reason, it took me forever to finally stop by. The cafe has a nice atmosphere, with cute artwork. It's a local, black owned business, which even makes it better! I'm typically keto and have never been a fan of the "Herbalife" lifestyle but I decided to give it a try and it did not disappoint. The menu has many many options, i was honestly overwhelmed because i wanted to try everything! I finally decided to get the pumpkin spice latte shake and it was pretty good. Not too sweet and it's definitely very filling. I drank about 1/3rd of the shake and i couldn't even finish the rest, it's definitely a meal replacement for sure. It was about $7ish bucks but so worth it, because it's technically a "meal"... honestly for me... about 2 meals lol. The also offer teas, which look amazing! I'll definitely be trying the tea and shake combo next time for sure. Other than that, customer service was amazing, one of the owners made my drink and was super pleasant and patient with me. We got s'mores, fruity pebble, and chocolate covered cherry. We could only take a few sips because of how bad it tasted. If they're going to charge $7 for shakes, they should at least taste good.
