Nuts Now is such a treat, you have to experience it! The employees are truly some of the kindest people I have ever met and really take care of you, offering plenty of samples. Everyone is so helpful and friendly! There are so many delicious options from bulk candies, chocolates, Turkish delights, and a large variety of nuts and baked goods. My absolute favorites are the raspberry chocolate, Dubai bar, and their strawberry Dubai cups... they make the 40 minute drive completely worth it!

Nuts Now is amazing. Upon entering you'd feel as if you entered into a tasty treat heaven ala Willy Wonka. I was just amazed at the nostalgia of an old candy shop, I felt like I was young again. Candy coated, honey dipped, plain, or roasted, any nut treat you can imagine is available at Nuts Now. The candy selection is also phenomenal. They have lots of homemade chocolates, chocolate cover nuts, chocolates, clusters, milk, dark, and white. Also available are hard candies, penny candy, and a plethora of other treats. It's just amazing. I have tried the chocolate turtles, and nuts covered in chocolate covered, the viral Dubai chocolate, and dates. I've also had a Dubai chocolate pistachio croissant, that was delicious. My gym is right down the street from Nuts Now. I try very hard not to stop by every time I go to the gym. The family is warm and welcoming with excellent customer service is definitely a gem. The brightest spot on Allen Road. Highly recommended!

NutsNow has a tiny parking lot, but the storefront itself is pretty nice. They have a great selection of nuts and candy, including some unique options. I picked up three different types at varying price points--the Swedish candy (which I didn't love, don't fight me) was $20 per pound, the 3D fun candy was about $6 or $7 per pound, and the regular candy you'd find in any store was $5 per pound. I only spent $10 and still got a decent amount of candy, which felt like a good deal. I originally stopped by just to try the Swedish candy, but ended up grabbing more because of the variety. If I lived closer, I'd definitely come back!

To say I am obsessed is an understatement. The business was SO CLEAN! The staff was so kind and sweet, constantly cleaning and providing samples and the options are so nice! This is a perfect place to get all kinds of sweets, candy, spices, roasted seeds, and a bunch of other spots. Excited to support them more!

Great assortment of nuts and candies. The staff is very friendly and will offer a sample if you would like to try before you buy. They have the viral Swedish candy everyone is looking for and it is yummy and fresh. Lots of treats to find while looking around the store. The have chocolates, Turkish candy and so much more.

Fun fun FUN! I have been hearing so much buzz about this new business, and I'm so happy I finally had the chance to stop in and try it out! Everything inside looks organized, clean and sanitary, which makes the vibe so homey and welcoming. Feels like I'm back in Lebanon getting dessert :) The staff are extremely friendly and I love that they offer free samples of products they have. Many of the things I purchased were from what I tried through them! We got a sample of one of each of the Turkish delight, some Swedish candy, cheese chips and some hand picked candy! They also have the popular Dubai chocolate that's viral at the moment. Highly recommend the baklava stuffed Turkish delight.

I've heard several people say good things about Nuts Now over the last couple months, but a review of their Dubai chocolate strawberry cups was the incentive I needed to try it. The parking lot is very small and cramped for this relatively large store and it was packed on a Sunday. The first thing I noticed was the huge array of bulk candy offerings. I think I'll need to take my nephew the candy lover on his next visit. There was even an array of Swedish candy and imported chocolates. The staff offered a generous sample of their Dubai chocolate strawberries. It was delish. I was already planning to order one anyway but that sealed the deal. I also ordered some pistachio halva. The Dubai chocolate strawberry cup was $11.99 and loaded with ripe strawberries and yummy pistachio cream sauce and a creamy chocolate sauce. It was sinfully delicious. I can tell I'll be coming back for one throughout the summer. Unfortunately, I committed the cardinal sin of scarfing down the strawberries before taking a picture. The pistachio halva was also very good and a good price as well.

My new favorite place to go for cheesecake. The cheesecakes are $7.00, and very delicious. The place is well lit, with a variety of candy, chocolate, cheesecake, and etc. The customer service is good everyone's friendly, and helpful. There's a small space for parking that's kinda awkward, and really tight. I would recommend trying their sweets, nuts, chocolate, cheesecake, and etc.

I have always known about Moscheck's, but because the Allen Park Farm market was always right…read moreacross the street I rarely found myself in there. When apfm closed up Moscheck's was my closest option for fresh meats. After 2 years of coming here I have become quite a big fan. Their produce section is small, but that is not why I come here. They have a nice selection chicken, cow, turkey, and pig. They may not have some of the less common meat products (lamb is a special order item), but for the standards the prices aren't bad. If you buy in bulk you can get some real nice prices (I.E. NY strips are 5.99 lbs if you buy like 10 lbs.) The chicken breasts are priced well, and when I feel like making kafta they will grind it for me. As for the rest of the store, you can manage to snag enough items to make a dinner. They have a small section of dairy, a nice little section of cheese, a whole cooler full of locally made pastas (Pierino, if you don't know the history, this company started as a family from Italy making ravioli in their home kitchen in Melvindale). They also have various canned goods and such. The prepared foods section is small, but there, and I can't couch for it because I have never purchased anything from it. They also have a standard selection of deli meats ( I am quite a fan of their house made roast beef). Nothing to traval miles to see, but if you live in the area and need some meats, it is definately a staple to the community.

I didn't even see the place (although I did choose it), but my dad really liked it. It reminded him of one of the Claro's Italian Markets in Southern California. I was looking forward to my slices of cheese pizza, but my brother called from the deli to inform me that they only had pepperoni by the slice. Look, I get it. Most people want pepperoni, and when you're serving by the slice, you can't try all these random combos that people might not eat. But no cheese? As in the most basic pizza option? That feels wrong. When I had my veggie sandwich a little later, it was very good. My brother had persuaded the guy to throw in some additional mushrooms. The bread was top notch, and I enjoyed the sandwich. For the price, it should have either been larger or included more vegetables, cheese, all of the above, anything. My dad really enjoyed his sandwich, but my brother was left wanting by his meatball sub. The local-brand potato chips were a nice touch. They use way too much plastic wrap.

We tried several items and would easily get all of them again: Pizza slices - generously sized square slices $2.69/slice; crunchy crust, small cup pepperonis, not too greasy and all together a great tasting slice but could use a few more pepperonis per slice Meatball sub- GREAT sauce and meatballs, and I am picky about eating anyone else's meatballs other than my own Off the Boat Hoagie: spicy capicola and other spicy coldcuts and cheese (couldn't remember them all) baked inside an extra large soft roll, served warm. It was VERY GOOD. At first seemed like a lot of bread in proportion to deli cuts, but it was a perfect ratio given the spiciness of the coldcuts inside. Cannoli - light shell and filling, not overly sweet. Really liked that they used a dusting of chocolate powder (not bitter cocoa) on the ends vs hard chocolate chips. This has become my new favorite bakery for cannolis! Definitely coming back here to try more of their hot and cold subs and dishes like lasagna, pasties, soups and pasta. Other than those fantastic cannolis they have other delectable pastries, breads, cookies and desserts to try. They also carry specialty Italian grocery items, a large deli with a good selection of meats and cheeses and cold takeout fridges with pastas, whole pizzas and lasagna to bake at home. Very friendly staff, consistent stream of customers picking up subs, pizza slices, breads, and 3 small tables with chairs in the store to sit and enjoy the food if you can't wait until you get home.
