His explanation however shocking as he mentioned that linen could not be professionally cleaned, recounting a personal anecdote of sexual fluids from his girlfriend about his own linen couch stain. Feeling uncomfortable, I made excuses to avoid conversation but he insisted to show me the phone with pictures of his couch. He kept staring at me trying to see my reaction but I quickly excused myself and reached out to a coworker to call me immediately providing a sense of support during the encounter.
