I split with my wife a small container of fried rice, some dumplings, 1 sausage, and 1 bottle of water - total cost $11. This eatery is definitely not for foodies. I'm sure there are better options out there but its near the #7 train, so if you're in a rush like we were, I guess it will suffice. This is NYC and to find good eats at affordable prices sometimes the places may not look appealing from the outside or the place can be a hole in the wall. NY Go Go Fast Food got patrons sitting at the table and devouring their meals. I think the ambiance and place looks fine. Folks the food is good and the prices are great. I ordered the Lo Mein for $3.50 and I saw Fried buns $3.50 and the staff said it was just made and fresh. Boy was she right by the time I got home the food was still piping hot and very delicious. I guess they were having issues with the fantuan app but when I arrived to pick up my food, they told me they couldn't give me my order and kept telling me to cancel my order on the app. I'm not too familiar with the fantuan app but I told them I could not cancel. The only response was "yes you can". Granted, there's definitely a language barrier but there was no help from their end to help me. I just stood there clicking on my phone before attempting to tell them again that I couldn't cancel. They kept brushing me off before I opened Google translate to tell them I could NOT cancel because the app told me they already confirmed the order. They seemed annoyed by having no choice but to finally make my order. This was several months ago and I haven't ordered since. My recommendation is to bring cash, order in person, because god forbid there's an issue with any apps, they won't attempt to help you. read more

The food here has honestly always been a go to for me in flushing. Everything here is for a pretty good price (though it has been going up a but in recent years prob to combat inflation) and available for breakfast since it opens earlier. read more

This hole in the wall Chinese restaurant is a gem in my opinion. They have many food options at affordable prices, many of which are ready to go and quickly served especially for those in a hurry. Seems like they never clean the dining area. Came here super early one morning and all the tables and even chairs had food particles. I tried to pick a chair without food on it, but the boss started muttering at us to sit in one corner so we don't block people coming in to buy togo items, but as soon as we sat down, no one needed to pass through us so we could've sat anywhere instead of being squeezed into a tight dirty corner. 5 stars for the value. Definitely one of the best cheap food out there. For under $10, you will be full and happy. Flavor wise isn't exactly the best but for the price you paid, it's still worth it. I've heard this place when I used to live in NYC. And recently finally had the chance to try multiple times! Where can you find a restaurant that opens at 6 AM that serves fried flat noodles and congee? Obviously only in the greatest city in the world! And the best borough in NYC! It's easy to find, and the door is always open so indoor air ventilation is great. It has a couple of tables for a quick sit down and eat if you need to. Most people come here for takeout. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. They also have English menu, but pointing from outside the windows always works!! The food is served right in front of you, super fast. Located just by the 7 train, Main Street Subway is a plus because you can just grab some of the lo mein, mai fun, pork buns, fried chicken drumsticks, and skewers. I usually come here when I'm around the area and last time I came here I got a bowl of Mai fun for $3.00. They only accept cash. The food is good quality and very fresh. There are also soup bowls too. Seating is limited and there are only 4 tables along with a big black garbage bag for people who waste. Been going to this place ever since I was a young, dumb and broke high school kid taking courses in HS at Queens College and needing to transfer to a bus after getting off the 7. This spot has never waned in quality nor quantity, defeating the Covid beast by coming back stronger. not only do you get super cheap pork buns, scallion, pancakes, dumplings, etc.; you get some of the freshest on the block. I make it a point to stop by this place almost every time I have a chance and if I'm not looking to sit down for a full meal at any of the other delicious locations in the area. It used to be called Yummy Dim Sum and has been in the same spot for almost a decade now. The menu consists of over 50 delicious items - although I've frequented this establishment, I still have yet to try them all. I usually get the fried pork buns, fried dumplings, scallion pancake, soybean milk (a must get!), and sticky rice roll here. On my most recent visit, I tried the salted soybean curd ($2.50) and really enjoyed it - it tastes like really flavorful hot & sour soup, except with tofu. As for the sticky rice roll, there's pork floss, pickled veggies, and a fried cruller enclosed inside the sticky rice. The rice cakes, taro cake, chow fun, sticky rice, sweet soybean curd, congee with pork & century egg, fish balls, and fish tofu are good picks here as well (it seems like I listed a lot, but that's just a small portion of the menu)! If you come later in the evening, they might run out of popular breakfast items, such as the scallion pancake and fried dough sticks. The prices of the food items range from $1.75-$8, with most items being $3 and under. That value is hard to beat! There's a dining area with 6+ seats available, where you can strike up random conversations with the diverse patrons at the shared table. They also provide sauces such as sriracha and vinegary soy sauce, if you want to dip your dumplings or anything in. English is not the main language spoken at this establishment, but don't let that hold you back from these great eats. There are color menus up above with pictures, a text menu to the left of the ordering area with Chinese and English translations, or you can simply point directly at the food (behind the protective covering). The staff here are so patient and friendly; they work very hard with a smile on their faces! Almost all the selection of food taste good but feels dirty eating here for some reason I don't know if it's because it's right near a huge subway station and buses or because the food costs very cheap in comparison to other spots. I remember even during peak Covid in 2020 when all or most surrounding Chinese restaurants shut down or moved this was the only place operating still the same. There was a customer before me that ordered several chicken skewers. After seeing there were more freshly-made chicken skewers after ordering ones there, he asked for the freshly-made ones. These were the best goddamn noodles I've ever had. It had a HIGH noodle to everything else ratio, was very tasty, and best of all I got them for the low low price of 3.25 dollars. They're so good. I want to love this place- I really do, so many childhood favorites all in one place with extremely affordable prices. I wanted to love it. I got to the store at 9am. I don't know what time they open, but I thought it was definitely early enough for them to have fresh food. Upon seeing scallion pancakes and scallion bread (something that I've searched religiously for in NY) I was ecstatic. Both items together were $3.25, I don't think NYC gets any cheaper than that. Sadly, these items were both average at best. Scallion pancakes are supposed to be full of scallions- that's where the flavor comes from. I could probably count the number of Scallions I saw with one hand, as the pancake was mostly fried dough. To add on, the pancake was SO oily. I love an oily, greasy scallion pancake much as the next guy, but this was horrendous. It felt as if I was swallowing puddles of oil mixed with lard somewhere in the mix. The entire pancake tasted like fat and grease. The scallion bread was slightly better. There were far more scallions and the flavor benefited because of it. However, it was way too doughy. The bread was extremely thick and very dense, deprived of the light, airiness that j am used to. Sigh, how unfortunate. I really want this place to be good!
