I did purchase the oil change through Groupon and everything worked out pretty smoothly. I was charged an additional $15 because my car needed an additional quart of oil and they also tack on a few extra dollars for what I think was an "oil disposal fee". Nevertheless, the staff was friendly and service was done pretty quickly. What I really liked was they didn't try to sell you on all the extra b.s. that other shops usually do. I maintain my car fairly well and know I didn't need a transmission fluid service, windshield wipers, air filters, etc. so when I mentioned I just wanted to change the oil and that was it, I appreciated that they didn't waste my time. I'd definitely come back again.

They stated they didn't even do the alignment which was the original reason for coming and that they tried to call ( do not have any missed call ). But wanted to try and upsell new tires and tire rotation. It is now 2:16 and I'm still sitting waiting.. *UPDATE* 2:54pm and my car is now getting pulled in for the alignment 3:20pm and the car is finally done and on a test drive. So a 25 min service took 3 and a half hours. Appreciate the service guys!

My car failed inspection because it was missing one rear driver-side lug stud. What's most disappointing is that neither the technician, Edward F., nor the service manager, Paul Nembhard, said a single word before performing the inspection to inform me that the missing lug stud would cause an automatic failure. If they had simply told me, I could have easily purchased a replacement lug stud elsewhere since one was not available for purchase in-store, which was an inexpensive fix, and avoided failing the inspection altogether. When I asked Paul why they wouldn't notify me about an issue like this before proceeding, his response was that it "wouldn't be ethical." That explanation made absolutely no sense. There is nothing unethical about informing a customer of an issue that will cause their car to fail. What would be unethical is passing the car without the repair, which I never requested or implied. Instead of understanding my point, Paul completely misconstrued my words, repeatedly insisting that I wanted his mechanic to "do something illegal" by passing the vehicle as-is. That was not what I said or meant. I only wanted to be notified of the issue so that I could fix it before it resulted in a failure. To make matters worse, after the failure, I was told I would have to pay an additional $10 for the reinspection once I replaced the lug stud. When I expressed my frustration about the lack of communication that led to this unnecessary cost, Paul's only response was, "It's just $10 to get the car reinspected." That dismissive attitude showed zero concern for my time and money. I even made the analogy that if my windshield wiper was missing, something Pep Boys conveniently sells in-store, any reasonable manager would suggest buying and installing one before failing the inspection. Paul had no answer for that either. On top of everything, I was charged an additional $10 to have the car reinspected at another state approved facility after I resolved the issue myself. This was a cost that could have been avoided entirely had they communicated properly from the start. This entire experience reflected a serious lack of professionalism, poor communication, and a disregard for customer service. I left extremely dissatisfied and disappointed. I will not be returning to Pep Boys Auto, store #1480, and I strongly advise others to take their business elsewhere.

I went back several times to ask the same questions. They said I have to drive couple miles. It will disappear /off automatically. It did not work as what they said when I drove more that a miles. They could not able to slove this problem. I use google search, it should be able to reset with the "tires reset buttom". The do not know and they could not be able to fix the problem. It is my first experience with this problem. Finally, the guy replaced all tires telling me. it was because the pressure. He put more pressure on each tire. It did not work. He used the ipad to check this situation of my car. He said, this was a problem for the sensor of my tires. I must to replace three of them in order to get this message off. He said "he cannot fix it. He said I have to call the dealer to replace the tires sensors. I did not understand it, it was working fine and without any problem before replaced all four tires. Then asked for the price for the wheel alignment and once he heard I'll be getting other services free he goes yeah the wheel alignment is $179 dollars obviously plus tax almost $200 bucks. They trying to charge the free stuff in the price of the actual purchase. Even the employees working on other cars laughed trying to scam customers. Be mindful with Mavis and this location. Funny how when you call for wheel alignment is $119.

He worked around my very busy work schedule to fit my car in. I told him I was selling my car and they truly went above and beyond, they even cleaned my engine. I had a tiny rust mark right outside of my wheel well that has been bothering me for a few months now (my car is a 2013) and they not only got the rust stain off, he touched up the point it originated. I had several scuffs and marks on my front bumper and it's like they just replaced it. I'm truly shocked as to how amazing the exterior looks (especially because I drove across the country three times). My favorite part though, out of everything they did is my headlights. They look incredible and it made me drive home tonight so much better. I didn't realize how bad they had actually become until they fixed them! Additionally, to make things more difficult for them- My golden retriever recently turned 1 year old (so she went through her puppy and summer shedding phases) and it honestly looks like she never stepped foot in my car. Their prices truly do not reflect their customer service skills, extreme professionalism, or the effort they put into detailing. I was reluctant to spend that much initially because I'm selling my car, but I would have spent far more had I known it would shave off actual YEARS of use like it did. I will never go anywhere else to get my car detailed and I can't wait to go back with my new car in a few months!

I called a few other detailing shops before deciding on Magic Auto.  I was first interested because…read moretheir pricing was very fair.  I had spoken to a few other places who were asking way too much and touted their skills and experience but I soon realized they were going to put my car through the same process as every other car.  After speaking with Ethan and John I was able to see they are students of the craft and are open to learning about new products, and took the time to understand my concerns.  Since my car is older we wanted to make it shine while removing as little clearcoat as possible.   The headlights were also yellowing, so I asked them to use a specific process to properly restore them and prolong this from happening again.  I also had my own products I asked them to use, which we discussed and came to an agreement on how to proceed.  I am a very demanding customer, and I like to understand many details of how I am spending my hard earned cash to which John & Ethan were very accommodating.  Overall the car came out great, and I love driving it even more.  I plan to bring my other Mercedes along with my wifes Honda Pilot to get the paint polished and protected for the winter.  These guys treat your car as if their own and I would highly recommend them to anyone.
