This place is the definition of a NYC used car dealer! Sketchy, dishonest, shady, hinky, unprofessional, rude, and simply are rip off artists that just waste your time! Saw the only car they had listed on CARFAX which is a reputable website. I called one of their numbers that worked, the other were disconnected. Spoke to a man who confirmed the vehicle was available and appointments were to be taken. I made an appointment and drove the 2 hrs from Long Island to Brooklyn to see the car. Upon arrival, the car was nowhere to be found except another similar car at more than double the price. I found a man with three others in an empty trailer laughing and drinking coffee. He came out and nodded as to acknowledge there may be an actual customer who might want to buy a car! He said the car I came to see was sold weeks ago. He said oh you called a call center, we don't even pick up the phone here! For a lot of folks, dealing with a car salesman/manager is a crappy experience. Within minutes of meeting Mr. William (left corner office), I was reminded me why. When asked if the inspection was included in the total price (car price, taxes, dealer, registration/title fees, etc), he politely told me to get lost (that I "could walk out the front door"). Saying that Mr. Williams lacks professionalism or any semblance of a training in customer service, would be quite an understatement. While I definitely won't be back, if you do come here, chat with Mr. Saed instead. He's a decent salesman/manager. He explained that there was a mechanical issue with the car and informed me that a mechanic was coming to address it. I appreciate his honesty and effective communication; if I hadn't met with Mr. William earlier, I might have stayed. Ps. The salesman who took me to the car had to get a jumper so we could start the car. Yeah, fun times. So, I saw a great deal on Car Fax for a KIA Sorento. I called to inquire on availability and pricing and whatever was needed to drive the vehicle out of the lot. After showing interest, I followed up so I could grab the vehicle next day and I noticed the sale price suddenly was changed. I called them back and they said it was just a 24 hour deal (which was not part of the conversation). I'm just happy that I didn't make the 1.5 hour trip to get ripped off. I had to get the Attorny General for this business to handle what I needed them to take care of. One of the workers scheduled a test drive for an Acura TL there and they failed to tell me that it had TRANSMISSION issues which would not allow me to drive it for a test. How ridiculous is that? Scam!!!! Run from this place. They have signs posted that say, "Bad Credit, No problem" posted all over dealership but the sales manager, Mario, run scams from this dealership. He works with this "private" special finance guy, Sam (the Auto Negotiator). Mario will tell you he can't get you bought using his banks (even if your credit isn't horrible... 660ish) but he has this guy Sam that will be able to get you bought. Sam then finds you a loan at 16% interest which "after making 6mns of on time payments" they guarantee they will get you to around 7% interest. They'll lie about the sale price of vehicle too... I walked in on a sale price of a $19,999 vehicle and found out a month later the total sale price on loan document was $27,000!!!! I would have known about this earlier but they kept the signed loan documents from me saying, "we'll send you out copies via mail once our office files all paperwork". I never got the paperwork after asking multiple times. Only time I found out about this was when I finally received my loan documents from the bank. At that time I contacted, Sam and he told me not to worry that I wouldn't pay the $27,000 bc he would get the loan forgiven and then start another loan based on the market value of my vehicle after 6mns (he called it a loan forgiveness program, like they do with morgages). Well, 6mns passed and I tried contacting Sam... No answer. I've tried over and over again. Even went to his place of business but he locks the door and has a camera fixed on the door so he can keep the people who he scams away from the people he is trying to scam. Now I have to spend thousands on a attorney to try and go after him. I needed the sale price details from Mario at NYC Automart and he tells me he can't give me any info on my vehicle I bought from his lot bc everything gets deleted after 6mns. DO NOT! I REPEAT, DO NOT PURCHASE ANY TYPE OF VEHICLE FROM NYC AUTOMART. They are ripping customers off left and right! I can't even begin to describe the amount of stress and frustration I have been through this past week. I basically was scammed into buying a 2018 Rogue Sport that was not even my first option when I was choosing a car to finance. The first SUV I was shown after I went through the whole process of signing paperwork for it, I was told that they did not have the title for it and could not sell it to me again. I was guaranteed by william (who is a jackass by the way) that he can find me another vehicle and had me wait all day in the store. Finally after 8 hours of being there they gave me the option of the rogue sport. I test drove the car and even sat down with the owner and was falsy advertised that this was a great deal. I was told that there was no accidents and the car is like brand new, great condition. After having the car for a week I realized the Air conditioning was not working, and other things such as one brake light out, and cigarette charger not working. I took it to the mechanic and thats where my nightmare began. Its been going on three weeks and i have not gotten my car back. The mechanic told me that the reason the air conditioner is not working is because the car has been in a accident where the radiator was pushed back which was causing a leak. Every day I called and it was a different issue. I was just told that the car started overheating and the fan needs to be replaced and the part is on backorder which can take up to a month or more to get that part. I went back to NYC Automart to explain the situation and get assistance. And was told by William that there is nothing they can do and I will have to wait until the mechanic is done fixing the car. I asked to be helped with at least a rental and he said that they do not provide rental. I asked him if he honestly thinks that it is fair for me to pay for a vehicle that I was not even told was in an accident without even any type of remorse or assistance from NYC Automart. He looked me straight in the face and said that he does not give a f*ck. And If I stop paying its my credit getting messed up not his. These people are praying and taking advantage of customers.
