I did my best to not have to write this review. A month ago, I went in for routine maintenance and…read moreafter a diagnostic. I paid for the recommended work which totaled over $800. Three weeks ago, I noticed that the oil and engine light came on when I turned my key to the ACC position (before starting the vehicle). Not knowing any better, I took it in again and was informed that I needed to do another diagnostic ($280). They informed me that I need to pay $4000+ due to engine consumption. When I took it elsewhere for a second opinion, I was informed that the lights always come on before starting the engine to ensure that they work and they turn off upon starting the vehicle. I contacted Hyundai two weeks ago via email to express my concern that this should have been caught, I received no response. I followed up a week later, ditto. I called several times and was informed that the Service or General Manager would return my call. Hasn't happened yet. I called today (5th time calling in two weeks) after being placed on hold was informed that Mr. Strassberg is occupied. While on the call, I was informed that he just stepped out. This is POOR customer service. I feel as though they are INTENTIONALLY ignoring my attempts to contact them. I will now need to escalate the matter. I would NOT recommend dealing with them.

Our service rep, Isuf Grajqevci kept us updated and helped us out so much. We've had the pleasure of dealing with Isuf before, so it's no surprise that he was his usual courteous self. He's knowledgeable, and tells it like it is. Isuf always gets me an Uber ride home. This time the car was going to be laid up a few extra days, so he arranged a loaner for us. This is the fourth KIA we've either purchased or leased from Island KIA. Always feel like we get a decent deal, but of course repairs are needed along the way. We feel fortunate to deal with Isuf for those occasions. Highly recommend dealing with Isuf Grajqevci, for any and all KIA service needs.

I went to the wrong location by mistake. You need to watch which store the car or cars your looking at is. I was about to go back on the bus to go across town when the salesman told me to sit down and let him call the other location. They literally had someone come out and drive me to the next location. They made sure to help me get everything resolved on site. Even without buying from them, just their presales efforts alone were enough for me to write a glowing review. "Walk in a pauper, get pampered like royalty" should be their slogan. On top of that the sales and financing team makes every effort to help you navigate the beaurocracy and afford paying for your new or used car right off their lot. The dealership specified to me that the recall was actually done. Turns out it truly wasn't, hence why the car KEEPS STALLING when entering high speeds. Second is the spots on the top of the car which it was made clear by the dealership that it was JUST DIRT. No, they lied again, turns out it is PAINT CORROSION. Third is the touch screen panel. I asked very clearly if there was a screen protector on it and they replied that there was in fact a screen protector on the touch screen panel (so I decided to leave it), but as the bubbles on the "screen protector" began to annoy me, I decided to remove it. Only to find out that it was not actually a screen protector. Turns out it was a defect that affects 2011-2018 cx5 models. SCREEN DELAMINATION. Thank you for the lies. Such great salesmen, that's the name of the game, scamming customers and overcharging them. I've already submitted a report to the attorney general. If nothing is done to remedy the issue I'll take it to court. I do not enjoy being lied to.
