    Cheese Burger with Lamb Combo

Pretty nice Mediterranean spot! Passing through Montgomery for a wedding and wanted some takeout for after.. we had the hummus, fries, burger with lamb and manhattans platter. I wish the platter had a bit more salad. Loads of fries, though! Service was very fast.

So the last time I tried this was when I came here for a volleyball tournament, and I was looking for something quick to eat in the middle of brakes. At that time, I was not much of a Yelper, so I didn't get a chance to take pictures and post. Today I went back with my husband because we were passing through Montgomery and I was able to take pictures and the food was still as amazing as it was when I first tried it. Again it's a hole in the wall, but great food and very affordable. You get more than what you paid for. The only thing is I wish they had a spicy sauce or something to put in there gyros . The gentleman was very helpful.

Had an overnight in Montgomery and looking for a quick good meal. Disappointed in our food here. I have never had a gyro where tzatziki sauce was not part of the gyro. Very disappointed when we opened our carry out gyro and it was as dry as the dessert. I had the lamb and it had decent flavor but was so dry I could barely get it down. My wife had the chicken gyro and it was too spicy for her. Again no sauce to help with the dryness. We got chicken tenders for the kids. I will give it to them that you can tell it was hand breaded and not frozen chicken tenders.....but that's where it stops. It was sitting in grease when we opened the box and did not look appetizing. Fries were okay. Service - I guess maybe the worker was from NYC. Hard to order over the phone and very little interaction when picking up other than taking the money. Was hoping for a good hole in the wall find, but unfortunately just found the hole in the wall.

Like a real NYC place...this is the whole restaurant!

As much as we wanted to like this place, we just thought it was mediocre at best. The service was lacking: guy taking our order was lukewarm friendly and maybe in New York City that's acceptable, but in the Deep South, a little friendliness goes a long way. Definitely would have helped. We ordered to gyros, a Brooklyn platter, and order of hummus and an order or mozzarella sticks. Came out to a whopping $55. For that much, we should have been wowed. We weren't. The hummus seemed watered down somehow. It was kinda drippy and not much flavor. The chicken was okay, but heavily seasoned and more fatty pieces than I'd have liked. The salad seemed like it had been sitting in the dressing too long. My brother and sister in law said the gyros were just okay. Not sure how this place has so many 5 star reviews, and I wish I could've left one too, but we just were overall disappointed with our experience.

Outstanding lamb gyro and very tasty Greek salad. The food is very reasonable in price. I will definitely come back to this hidden gem.

The food is great. Just be ready to wait for it. The service is really unorganized and they didn't have enough people working.

This place is pretty solid. The lamb gyros are 100% good 100% of the time. The tabuli salad is hit or miss.

Great spot. We had the chicken gyro, the Philly cheesesteak and a side of wings. Food was excellent. Small place but the food is worth it.

Kind of expensive for lunch. They upsell you to put humus on you gyro. Costs too much for what you get. Tastes good, not a lot of food.

My go-to at a Panera Bread is usually one of their bagels with cream cheese. Growing up in New Jersey, I am an extreme fan of the breakfast wonder of a bagel with cream cheese. Are the bagels at Panera Bread every bit as good as the bagels in the New Jersey and New York area? Not even close. However, to paraphrase Dorothy from the classic movie "The Wizard of Oz," I am not in New Jersey (riffing off of her line "I have a feeling we are not in Kansas.") and if I want a bagel, I have to choose a bagel shop that the area has. Panera Bread does not have terrible bagels, but they're decent enough to satiate the urge for a bagel and a bagel here is significantly better priced can an airplane flight back to New Jersey. This particular Panera Bread also has a drive-thru, which is pretty cool. The staff was friendly and I was in and out in a relatively quick amount of time. Panera Bread does maintain a decent level of consistency throughout their stores and I really have not had an issue ever at any of their locations. Well not the best bagels, they are pretty good and pretty good is the best that I'm going to get outside of New York and New Jersey with the exception of a few isolated bagel shops and there were none around here that I known of so he never bred it was and it did the job.

The lady at the counter was so inviting and was amazing at making additional suggestions for us. The food came out timely and was beyond tasty. When paying I asked "who gets the tip?" (I don't ever leave a tip at eateries like this simply for the person taking my order lol) and this is when I learned that she was the manager of the location. I proceeded to with my tip even though she could receive it knowing it would be split amongst her amazing staff. The facility was clean, bathrooms were tidy and the atmosphere was quiet and quaint. I tried the Newk's Q pizza and my SO got my usual for the 1st time the Newk's Q sandwich. They both tasted delicious. Thank you Charlene for your exceptional service, bubbly personality, knowledge of menu items, and for the convo and laughs.

Unfortunately, I've consistently noticed an issue with how pickup orders are handled. The pizza is always placed on an unheated pickup shelf, and by the time I arrive, it's already cold. Today, I ordered both the pizza and a Caesar salad. The salad was sitting on the top shelf, which is not temperature controlled, and it was noticeably warm when I picked it up. The pizza, on the lower shelf, was cold as usual. After experiencing this multiple times, I decided to leave a review. Shortly after posting, I received a text message--presumably from the owner--that came across as dismissive and rude. I want to be clear that I'm not looking for anything free. My concern is simply about food safety and quality. A pickup station without temperature control raises valid concerns, especially when items like salads contain dairy products that shouldn't sit at room temperature. As a regular customer who orders takeout often and dines in about once a month, this experience was disappointing. Rather than addressing the concern, the response I received felt accusatory, as if my review was written with ulterior motives. Because of this, I've decided to take my business elsewhere.
