The colors were off and looked terrible, and it had a chin at the bottom. I went back and paid $250 for a proper oled iPhone screen. I was happy with it. At the time, there was a small crack on the left side near the hinge, and I was worried it might get worse , but the screen bezel was intact. I was initially told that once the part arrived, they would notify me to bring in the laptop, and the repair would then take about a full day. The part arrived on December 30, 2025, I dropped off the laptop on January 6, and picked it up on January 9. -After I got home, I turned on the webcam to prepare for a meeting, and noticed that the screen displayed a blue image. I contacted the shop immediately. I was asked to bring the laptop back for further inspection, but no explanation was provided regarding the possible cause of the issue. -Since the shop is about an hour away, I asked whether a remote diagnosis could be done first to better understand the situation. I was informed that there would be a charge for that service. At the same time, I looked into common causes of this issue and found that it can result from a protective film not being removed during repair.
