I decided to try and book a different massage place for my husband's birthday. The scheduling of the massage was straightforward and quick. However, we ran into some issues the day of. We arrived fairly early as was instructed for the massage in order to provide our massage preferences. The lady who we thought was the receptionist but was actually the female massage therapist did not ask for our preferences. The male massage therapist was late and we were ushered into the room. The therapist asked my husband the pressure and type of massage he wanted as he was laying face down on the table while my therapist asked me while I was sitting and facing her. My husband felt like it was strange and a tad unprofessional given the amount we were paying. The massage room was not insulated well from the construction sounds outside so that was also distracting, but it's New York City, so there's not much you can do about that. The massage overall was a Swedish massage was fine but we were looking forward to the hot stone portion which I had indicated in the scheduling email that we wanted it. It was not made known to us that we had to request it in person. Furthermore, the price of the massage did not include tip which was a bit surprising for us and given the overall experience we felt it was definitely not worth the rate per hour. We were provided a 10% first-time customer discount in the initial email which was not deducted during our payment after the massage and the female massage therapist told me that there was no discount when I mentioned it. There was confusion all around and we had to retroactively receive the discount from the initial scheduling person, so it seems like there's some disconnect between scheduling and staff working in office. Overall, it was unfortunately a disappointing experience as I was looking forward to giving my husband a relaxing massage for his birthday, but he came out feeling disappointed to say the least. read more

These people are scammers, save your money. I should have known better when I was asked to pay a deposit through Venmo - no reputable business would request that. I made appointments for myself, my mom and my sister for my sister's birthday. I got to the place about 5 to 10 minutes prior to our appointments and my mom and sister were driving in from another borough. About 10 minutes after I got there, my mom called and said that she was outside in the car and could not physically leave the car. Her arthritis had unexpectedly flared up and she was in considerable pain. I explained the situation to the receptionist who said she understood and proceeded to speak to some unknown person stating "the client's mom can't come inside so they need to cancel". I then received a call from this unknown person who said that they could not waive the $300 deposit because she had people come in for our appointments (a lymphatic massage, a reflexology and a facial - something they should have staff on hand for anyway since they offer these services daily). I repeated what was happening with my mother and that if they were to make an exception in any situation, this would be it. She said that she didn't make the decisions and was communicating on behalf of the owner so I asked to speak to the owner and she refused - telling me that was just not possible. I asked her why, and to my disbelief, she said that she just couldn't let me talk to the owner. She then proceeded to insult me, saying that I should have prepared better and to add more insult to injury she said, and I quote "if $300 is that much of a problem for you, I don't know what to tell you". And then hung up. I can of course say the same about this business. If they care that little about their customers and if $300 is that much of a problem, this place should be out of business. In hindsight, I am glad this happened. If this place is that cheap, they would have been cheap with the treatments and I'm so glad we didn't take the risk. Take my experience as a cautionary tale - I would strongly encourage anyone who is thinking of getting a facial or a massage, please do not visit this establishment. read more

I recently started coming here after months of neck and shoulder pain that got so bad I was getting headaches. I can't say enough about the massage therapist, Entela, she is stellar! I haven't had a headache or tightness since going to her. She takes the time to ask about discomfort, type of pressure, injuries. Her pressure is perfect and she creates a tranquil environment. Received a 90 minute lymphatic massage as a gift. My first thought upon arrival was the suite was mall. That wasn't a huge turn off for me because I honestly prefer more intimate places. However, there are a few things that come with that. There is absolutely no peace here. I tried really hard to enjoy my massage but from the moment it started I could hear someone moving around outside of the room i was in. Doors were opening and closing, someone switched off the lights, and it sounded like electronics were powering down. I was annoyed but I figured that the other person was leaving so no biggie. Wrong, After the noise quieted down for a little while I heard another person taking a client who apparently didn't speak English because there was a 3rd person translating. Once that quieted down, i realized the third person was waiting outside of my room for the client. While she was waiting I could hear her talking on the phone. Once my massage was over the masseuse opened the door to leave so I could change and as I sat up I locked eyes with the person who was waiting which was very uncomfortable. SMH. Lastly, when I was leaving the receptionist, who wasn't there when I got there, asked how it was. I said the massage was great but It was very noisy. Her response was "of course this is NYC". Ummmm excuse me?! If I was interested in a back rub with a side of noise, I'd pay significantly less and do it in the middle of the mall. Came here last weekend to get a massage & it was okay. I typically like a spa where you can lounge around in & relax but I realize space like that is hard to come by in Manhattan. The office was small & a little sterile. I typically prefer a more cozy, intimate vibe but it felt more airy so just a different mood. We started a little early but there is no way I had an hour-long massage. I didn't have a negative experience at all - I just wasn't blown away! read more

Took my wife to this spa for a pre-natal massage and i got one of my own. The therapists were first class! My wife had an amazing rejuvenating experience, as did I. Serene music and quiet service. The Spa is clean and relaxing, and the view from one of the rooms is overlooking the tree at Rockefeller Center. I took a photo from the window. I will definitely come back! read more

Please do not go here. There is a reason there are only 2 reviews do not be fooled that they are good ratings. I thought I did my research, checking their website, their instagram, reviews, everything and now I am tracing my steps back to figure out what I missed. I don't get massages often, I do not go to expensive places so my standards are not high, and I can easily tell you this is the worst place ever. The location is small, does not have a spa or relaxing feel, it is not clean which in these days is very important, so immediately I felt nervous and just knew it wasn't going to be a good one. I should have listened to my gut feeling and left at that moment. The massage itself was purely horrible. I booked a Swedish and also have a torn Labrum so was excited to get some work done to feel relaxed but instead the entire session I was upset, uncomfortable, and my anxiety levels continued to increase. I can't even begin to explain the type of massage I received, it was just so unusual. It was not slow, the movements were insanely fast and she oddly used her fingertips instead of her hands so it felt like someone was having a bad day with a paint brush in hand just all over the place. I almost got up and left, and was so tempted to ask to cut it short and pay the price regardless. Just please do not get fooled by the price, it's not cheap but it's also not expensive. Pay the extra and go elsewhere I promise you will be disappointed here. Booked a 90 minute lymphatic drainage massage. Instead, a woman who wasn't able to communicate in English started a regular (and subpar) regular massage. After 30 minutes of me asking when the lymphatic drainage would start, another woman came in and said that they didn't have anyone on staff who could perform what I had booked (at higher cost). While the second woman tried her best to be helpful, I would not recommend this place to anyone, as it also has the air of being illegitimate. read more

I recently went in to get a facial (anti-acne) with Olesia. She was wonderful and we worked on my skin together- she recommended me products that would be good to use at home in order to heal my skin. Having acne my whole life, this treatment definitely helped me a huge amount and I am already seeing changes and clear, glowing skin. She was very sweet and took her time and explained everything step by step to me and let me know what she was putting on my skin before she did. My husband and I are big fans of everything delivered - with demanding full time jobs and a baby, there is really no time to go anywhere as we try to maximize the time we spend together. When one of our friends recommended Nyc massage we didn't think twice and ordered our first in-home session. When the therapists showed up we were really impressed at how professional everything was. They looked very proper - pressed uniform, hair up, clean hands no nails (yes I'm a freak and I pay attention to everything). They had everything they needed on them: massage tables, sheets, music and even candles which transferred our living room into a spa room. Was visiting NYC for work and just had to relax, massage therapist came straight to the hotel with all the equipment and gave the best massage of my life. I never felt that good, all my soreness just melted away. Definitely will keep it on my must do list anytime I will be in the city. read more
