When I walked in, the receptionist just stared at me like I was interrupting her very important work of doing absolutely nothing. No "hi," no "welcome," not even a nod. Not the warmest start, but okay, I came for relaxation, not charm school. Thankfully, my massage therapist was a dream. I was ready to float out the door until I reached the front desk again. I told the receptionist I didn't have cash for a tip and asked if I could Venmo. Nope. Then came the kicker: you can use a credit card but there's a $6 flat fee. Not 6%. Six actual, American dollars. For a $20 tip, that's a 30% surcharge! For comparison, most businesses charge a modest 2-4% fee. This felt less like a tip and more like a penalty. Another woman checking out at the same time didn't have cash either and got the same spiel. She sighed, shrugged, and paid the fee too...misery loves company, I guess. To top it off, once I paid, the receptionist didn't even say thank you. She just grimaced. Bottom line: Fantastic massage, but the front desk vibe and tip gouging left a sour taste. FYI: The workers here barely speak English and the massage beds are separated with curtains. We were taken to our section where they had two massage beds. They didn't ask us any questions or how hard/soft we wanted. They also didn't tell us who the masseuses were until we laid down on our front side. I had a male masseuse and my bf had a female masseuse. They focus a lot on the buttocks and lower hips/tail which is fine because I feel like masseuses in general don't touch the buttocks. Tbh I enjoyed the massages under the blanket, but the oil massage was a bit too long because I would get cold as I laid there half naked from the top to my buttocks. Feel like they should cover up some body parts if they are not massaging that area. Lastly, the hot stones wrre a bit too hot for me. However, I very much enjoyed how they massaged our head to toes. At 10 hours, you're supposed to get an hour free. So I booked a 90 min minute massage for today at 4:30pm, expecting the last 60 minutes to be free. I tried to check this with the front desk in the start but I was told to not worry about it until the end. Apparently because I booked 90 minute sessions in the past on my card, those apparently only counted as 60 minutes for the purposes of the card. The attitude of the lady at the front desk made me feel belittled and ruined the experience. Worse yet, after I left and checked the time, I realized I only got 60 minutes. Basically I paid for a 90 minute massage and received a 60 minute massage when I should have paid for 30 minutes and received 90 minutes. I basically overcharged by $85 today...

I don't know all the various styles of massage, but the descriptions on the website steered me to a Thai-Yoga combo massage. Booking was easy, but right after they called and asked if I could move up a half hour earlier to accommodate their schedule. Wasn't a problem for me so I agreed. The spa is in a little high-rise building sandwiched between taller ones. I walked right past it, but then I saw the address numbers and walked back, counting down, and there it was. Inside was a little hallway with a security guard in front of the elevator (made me think of the Men In Black movie!). He was friendly, asked if I had an appointment, and then made me sign an In/Out list with my name and where I was going. Not a problem, I understand the need for security. When I got up to the spa, they were already expecting me. The staff were professional and courteous. I left my shoes at the door and was shown into a room right away. The room was warm with quiet music playing. It was clean and smelled nice. The therapist did a wonderful job with my massage. Ask for Mona - she was fantastic! It was over all too soon - I got an hour, but I should have scheduled a longer one. I can't speak to how their prices compare with other spas, but I was very satisfied with what I paid for the massage I got. They hit me up for the gratuity on my way out the door. I rode the elevator back down, signed out of the guard's log book, and I was back out on the street. A very positive experience overall. I was just passing through so I may never return, but if I am ever in NYC again I would not hesitate to go back.

I've seen places with the signs out all over the city and I just so happened to have ended up in this one. Very quiet relaxing vibes I got the hour long massage with CBD oil and cupping Swedish edition. Room was clean, dimly lit and had soft music playing the whole time. My guy really did a great job it was my first cupping session and was kind of nervous but it was absolutely fine.
