AWFUL FACIAL! I think she's a nice woman, but my experience at her spa was awful. First, she leaves her cell phone on and it rings and beeps so loudly throughout the session. Second, she gives a very sloppy facial. Most facials are very pleasant and done in a very relaxing slow manner. She rushes through each step to the point you will have the product all over yourself. I could feel the product dripping off my face. Everything was rough and fast ,and it didn't help that she spent most of the time trying to convince me to do a longer facial for a little more money. Third, she didn't even care that I had lash extensions and lost a few lashes. Fourth, I don't appreciate someone taking my photo without my permission. Purchased a Groupon for two waxing sessions. When I got there they had one person working. the girl said she's never done waxing before, only eyebrows! This is my second time at this place because i bought a two-pack facial groupon. The two times I have been here have not been good experiences. Both times I experienced horrible customer service and left with red marks on my face, the first time still has a mark there and that was over four weeks ago. I had a massage there today. It was supposed to be an hour, but was really closer to 50 minutes. Massage was pretty good, not great, but I was happy. At payment, they charged about 10% tax, and I tipped 20%. The masseuse, who stood over me as I filled out the CC receipt, got angry at my tip (again it was 20%.) She demanded $20, didn't ask, demanded. This was rather jarring, and put me in an uncomfortable situation, albeit undoing the positive effects of the massage. I don't have blackheads and I barely breakout and I've gotten microdermabrasion before. I left with my skin red and swollen from the squeezing. The aesthetician takes pictures without your consent. She paused ever 20-30 second to scratch her neck and arms very intensely (and right on top of me), made noises with her mouth like she was chewing on something, and *sneezed* all over me mid-massage. I don't have any other personal experiences to compare to, but when discussing with my friends after, it became clear this was a more thorough and better quality facial compared to most other services. If I could give this place no stars I would. I scheduled an appointment for a Saturday and as I was walking up the steps I got a text asking if I could push my appointment back an hour - I said no because I had plans and couldn't wait. There was only one lady there and when I tried to explain the situation she could not speak fluent enough English to communicate with me. The next day I received a text asking if I could come back the following week and the service would be done for free. My scheduled appointment time was 7 and when I arrived they said the lady doing the facial was going to be 30 minutes late but while I waited they would give me a massage. I was taken into a room with 3 women and the girl who started giving a massage had no idea what she was doing (I found out they were training her). They all stood around me and talked the entire time and it was extremely uncomfortable. Finally the lady arrived 30 minutes past my appointment time and the facial was horrible. The lady was extremely rough and kept going in and out of the room the entire time. She put a mask on me and set a timer and left the room - when the timer went off it took her at least 10 minutes to come back in the room. I left the spa at 9 and my original appointment time was 7.
