Breakfast Burrito. Hoping it was bigger for $8. Very delicious though.
Terry K.

I stopped in for a breakfast burrito. It was good but I hoped it would be bigger for $9. Service was good. Nice little place to grab some food. I would like to try some Indian cuisine. I'll be back.

Nothing else like this around. Amazing food. Great options. Mix over rice was incredible. Will be back very soon to try something else.

July 3rd and we get a craving for Mexican. Two different Mexican restaurants we like crapped out…read moreclosing early with the upcoming holiday so we search Yelp and find Yevette's gourmet Tacos, which is a food truck. Yevette's location was only 5 minutes away from the restaurant we went to but it was unannouncingly closed, so we gave her a shot after seeing her 5-star reviews. Her trick was open, and her menu is very basic but we were pleasantly surprised with how good her food is. My wife got soft shell, I got hard shell and we loved her taco's and will be back. Options were beef, turkey, or collared greens vegetarian taco's. If you are in the mood for food truck taco's you will not be disappointed. I added just a touch of salt to mine but we both thought her meat was wonderfully seasoned, and her hard and soft home made shells were delicious. Try her! You won't be disappointed!

Uh oh, there's a new taco truck in town…read more I knew there was another food truck roaming around town, but hadn't had a chance to try it out until recently. I was downtown and spotted Yevette's parked downtown on Saginaw Street and decided to gamble and give it a chance. Ultimately, the gamble was worth it. When I walked up to the truck, the line seemed kinda long, but it moved pretty quickly. The owner (Yevette, no doubt), was friendly and polite. I ordered the loaded nachos without meat and before I could think twice about it, I had a takeout box featuring some very tasty nachos, piled high with sour cream, cheese, guacamole, zesty salsa, and fresh veggies. I might add, the tortilla chips were incredible. I don't know what they're doing to get those babies to taste like that, but whatever it is, I'd say it's working. In other words, don't stop doing what you're doing! They were slightly oily, salty and baked to perfection. I think I might have found the Holy Grail of tortilla chips. Hands down, those chips were a winner. Aside from tacos, nachos and other Mexican staples, they sell treats like elephant ears, sodas and the like, too. Prices were a tad higher than I would've thought, but not bad. The nachos came in a variety of sizes and the smallest order was $6, according to the menu board. Still, the quality is there, so paying a but extra wasn't much of a problem. I could see how some people might take issue with some of the prices, but I thought the food was reasonably priced for the market. The big gimmick surrounding this taco truck is the truck itself. Yevette's is housed in a restored Titan motor home from the seventies. Yep, those old RVs of yesteryear. At the very least, it's a conversation piece. I asked Yevette how old the RV dated back to, she replied that it was around 1973. Wow, kudos to her and her staff for keeping that thing roadworthy. There's always room for another food truck downtown. Variety is the spice of life, anyway. So, if you see an old Titan motor home tooling around downtown Flint, chances are that some delicious tacos will be close behind.

The food was fresh, flavorful, and hit all the right notes with that authentic Mexican taste you don't always find. Portions were huge, so we had plenty left over, and the prices felt more than fair. The staff was super friendly, got the order ready fast, and the place has that classic, no frills neighborhood feel I like. I'm not even from Flint but I'll definitely be stopping back every time I'm in the area. Solid spot, highly recommend if you're craving good Mexican. Will be a repeat customer for sure!

Had to wait for it to be opened. Food was supposed to be a steak "burrito" and a chicken quesadilla. Picture attached is chicken quesadilla untouched (how it came) and the steak "burrito" came with lose pieces of steak, raw pepper, lots of orange orange cheese and no onions. Nothing else on the hard and cold flour tortillas. Chicken quesadilla cheese so orange and synthetic looking, didn't even try it. Disappointed and will not be back. No where even close to eutheti

Home-style Mexican food!…read more This is good, authentic Mexican food, made with love and infused with a little bit of flair. It's so nice to have good Mexican food at the Flint Farmer's Market. Their chips are homemade and the salsa is awesome. Vegetarian loaded nachos are ridiculously good, made to order, with super fresh ingredients. Whichever veggies you want on your nachos, you'll get and whichever ones you don't want, they'll leave off for you. The tortilla chips are a bit greasy, but not overly so. It's not like you'll double over in GI distress afterwards! Besides, I like my chips a little oily, with just the right amount of salt. These aren't of the dry and flat ilk, but have a little zest to them instead. They also sell my husband's favorite line of seltzer water, which he can't find anywhere else around town, so that's a big plus in my book. He's always going on about that specific type of seltzer water, so even if I'm not stopping in for food, I still need to grab some of that seltzer water just to appease him. The price is right, too, with two people easily dining together for just $10. There's also a small line of grocery items, featuring rices, seasonings, spices, tortilla chips, salsa, and more available as well, with decent prices on most everything.

Honestly, I don't think I've ever had a taco with radishes before and it seems an unlikely choice for a taco, but it was surprisingly good . I will be back!

It lacked the flavor I was looking for and as for the torta it had a bit too much mayo for our liking. Quesabirria tacos were decent, just lacking flavor. The menu appears to be small, but that's one of its strengths. By keeping the menu small, they focus on what they do well while being a little creative with other menu items. They do well in not replicating what other Mexican restaurants in the area are doing but also having some of the staples in typical Mexican cuisine. I tried the birria taco and the queso birria... and I enjoyed their take on it. Instead of corn tortillas, they used flour and they used a different type of cheese that I wasn't used to. However, the meat itself was absolutely delicious. I also had one of their tortas with Al pastor. It's a little different than what I'm used to, but it comes close because the sauce they use to marinate it was savory while not being too spicy. The staff were friendly and helpful, and they didn't take too long with my order. Overall, I had a m enjoyable experience at Sabor and I looked forward to see them grow.
