They have outfitted me for some of the most important occasions in my life - for my engagement photoshoot, and today Jen and Katherine picked out the PERFECT dress for my upcoming bridal shower. They just know fashion, your style, what will work and what won't for you. I will say though, they only get in a few of each item. So if you see something that you love, get it - because cute things fly out the door and then are gone! They even have layaway here. I've come here before vacations, came waddling in here 9 months pregnant, and afterwards with my little guy. This store is filled with fantastic girls who really care about you and truly love their customer. Christine, Jackie, Brittany, Leah...everyone here is a doll and will help you with whatever you need. I love this store and bring all of my friends in when they come to Babylon. And they have such a great collection - clothing, jewelry, little handbags, they have everything you could possibly want and more, and something for every budget. I've also known the owner for years - she is a kind, respectable person who truly cares about her customers. However, over the past year or two, I've noticed a decline in customer service. There are a few sales associates whose approach often makes shopping uncomfortable. They seem eager to help younger women or those who fit the mold of a certain aesthetic, but if you don't, the experience changes. Instead of showing flattering pieces that could accentuate your positives, they tend to pull oversized items - with more of an appeasing "let's cover you up" attitude rather than talking to you positively about what could look good on you. Even when I share my preferences and typical size, I'm often presented with clothing that feels mismatched to what I've expressed I like. At this point, it feels less like a mistake and more like inexperience or a lack of understanding of how to style different body types. Additionally, hiring only sales staff who look and act "trendy" misses the mark when it comes to connecting with the broader demographic of women who should be embraced and celebrated as valued customers. It's too bad, because the clothes themselves are cute - but the experience has become so unpleasant that I will be taking this place off my list of places to shop.

I drove 45 minutes to Angela's after reading reviews online, and wasn't disappointed at all. She carries a wide variety of bras in a wide variety of sizes, and the bra I fell in love with was only $40! I didn't have to break the bank to find a comfortable bra to work for me through the rest of my pregnancy and post partum. I bought 2. I have been waiting over 5 weeks and have gotten zero proactive communication from any employee. I have called three times and every time, Angela answers, takes my name and number, tells me she is with a customer and will call me back and then never does. I will amend the review if/when my order ever comes in, but as for right now, I am concerned that they've taken my money and not fulfilled the order. The fitting was professional, Angela was helpful and kind, but the most important part is actually meeting expectations.

The staff was so patient though and spent a ton of time with me making sure that I was able to try on a million different shoes, make sure it was the right size, style etc. They have a really great selection too and are very knowledgeable as I also have over-pronation. I usually buy everything online but with shoes I really wanted that personal service to make sure that they fit and that I liked them. This way I can save myself from spending a million dollars online and then have to return all these shoes, and then probably forget to return half of them. You know how that goes... I'm so glad that this store is local and I was able to go in. They were also extremely accommodating one time when I had to make a return, as they stand by their products and service and ensured that I was able to switch into something else that I was comfortable with. When I arrived at Omnibus I was greeted with open arms and I felt the staffs excitement for my wedding day. They took one look at me and said I have the perfect gown for you. Well they pulled out this dazzling silky gown completely beaded and fit like a glove. I was in love and knew I came to the right place. I purchased the dress at that moment they started the process for some areas that needed a little tightening. I then came back a few weeks later and picked up my gown. EVERYONE LOVED THIS DRESS and it looked FABULOUS in photos. I went back in another time with my mother to find her the most perfect mother of the bride gown. My mother was treated as if she was their own mother and they took the time to make sure she was comfortable in the gown and felt beautiful as she is. (She does not wear dresses ever) They did a fantastic job on the alterations and even made her a shawl with leftover material to make her even more happy. We've visited so many places over the years--Blum's, Mary Corsetieres, Nordstrom, and more--but nothing has compared to our experience at this boutique. Nikki, the owner, was incredible from the moment we walked in. She's extremely knowledgeable, patient, and truly understands the details that make a bra fit right. It was such a fun surprise when we realized we had even gone to school together! What impressed me most was her selection and expertise. She carries brands like Panache, which I've always loved, and she introduced me to a new brand, Fit Fully Yours, that I am now obsessed with--finally, bras that fit my shape perfectly. Nikki listened so carefully, understood exactly what I needed, and guided us through styles that worked for both me and my mom. She even made notes of bras and panties I'd like to try in the future, which felt so thoughtful and personal. For the first time, bra shopping felt comfortable, easy, and genuinely enjoyable.
