Everyone was so kind and worked together seamlessly to keep everything running smoothly and efficiently. They were incredibly attentive without being overbearing. I was extremely impressed which how they cleared empty plates almost immediately, which kept the table clean throughout the meal. I highly recommend sitting outside if the weather is nice. The patio has such a fun atmosphere which made the experience even more enjoyable.

It's surprisingly hard to find one that's consistently good, but Crab King is by far my favorite. What sets them apart is the sauce and seasoning. It's flavorful without being overly salty, and the medium spice level is just right. I've been to Lowcountry plenty of times, and I personally find their boils way too salty. I honestly don't understand the hype when compared to Crab King. As of now, this is the best seafood boil I've had in Chicago. Of course, if a new spot opens, I'll happily give it a try, but Crab King is currently my #1. Their happy hour is also hard to beat. The seafood boil deals are great, and the $1 oysters are an added bonus. If you're a seafood boil lover, I definitely recommend giving this place a try!

We were given a thermocol plate with a plastic fork. The server did not even remove the steaming boil from its plastic bag. The seafood was served wrapped in plastic. When we asked for crab crackers, we were told they didn't have any and were handed plastic scissors instead. The server also never offered a beverage menu, which is standard at other outlets. The two stars are entirely for the taste of the food. Actually eating it was a nightmare. I would not return, and I would not recommend this place to anyone, primarily on safety grounds.
