    Went here to get suspension work done on my Tesla. Overall the vibe was friendly and the mechanic…read morethey had look at my car seemed to be top notch. He was the reason I wanted to get the suspension serviced here as his explanation of what I needed done showed his mastery of his craft. However after taking the car to Tesla to get a 2nd opinion I discovered that this shop (not the tech) was trying to charge me literally a 200% markup on the parts to do the repair. Crazy right!!! The genuine Tesla parts for the repair were $209 and these guys quoted those same parts out to $614 (I sent him the estimate from Tesla with the exact cost of the parts). Unfortunately for me Tesla wouldn't work on the car because of an aftermarket body kit the previous owner had installed. I really liked the mechanic at this shop, so I went back to this shop with the intention to move forward even though their cost was literally 56% more ($1,635 vs $2,555) then Tesla for the same work (because of the price gouging on the parts). Then when I asked about it before my approval to move forward the manager got snarky and said how would you expect us to stay in business if we don't markup the parts. I said and I quote "I get a markup on the parts and your high hourly rate for the labor on the work but not a 200% markup on the parts." The guy gave an excuse about the software they use but was unwilling to budge on the price gouging. I literally said why don't you let me buy the parts directly from Tesla and you can still mark them up 25% and he still said no. I was completely professional throughout the conversation, but obviously would not pay a 200% markup on parts on top of the already top of market labor they charge. After the conversation he texted me back and we agreed to not move forward. I only leave this review to warn others. It's a bad business practice to over charge people like that and so I just wanted to give people my story warning them to watch out and be careful before doing any work here. Update: this slime ball's disclosure of all the information I gave his manager, Steve, in good faith is abhorrent. Everything he mentioned on the car was told to them right up front as I told it to the manager, Steve, in person and this clown is repeating word for word what I told his manager. I was cool with this at first but this guy is a complete scum bag now using my own words and lying about it. Anyways besides being a scum bag, no effort at all was made regarding the parts and this shops 200% markup. I literally told the guy running the shop I would buy the parts myself and let them mark it up 25% and still the answer was a quick no. Everything I said was honest and accurate and don't appreciate this guy claiming transparency when his long shpeel was essentially just a my own words complaining about the car I bought and his shops poor excuse for price gauging. They could have done the job without gauging me on the price given I had the option to buy the parts myself. Not cool at all the response from this guy and his piss poor excuse for attempting to rip me off.

So, I called a friend of mine who lives in Littleton and asked where I should go for tire repair. Now, I'm sure you're wondering why I didn't just ask said local friend for help. Well, I was meeting him later in the week at Estes Park for an event and he had already left the area and to ask him to return would have not been considerate to him as the event was a business event and he was there to make money. He highly recommended Plus One and told me who to ask for at the front desk. I followed his advice. It turned out my tire had a nail in it. The tire was patched for a reasonable $40 and put back on. I expressed my sincere thanks and was soon back on my way. I saved Plus One's information, and if I'm ever back in Denver and have a tire issue, I'll definitely return! Highly recommended! The staff was great, and the lobby was nice. I passed the time on a very comfortable leather couch. I would absolutely do business here again and will recommend them to anyone in the Littleton/Denver area who needs tire repair.

    UPDATE: Cade came through! Called and told me that they had the tires, and they would get me right…read morein. Tires were done in record time! Really appreciate this, as I didn't want to have to worry about a tire blowing. My brothers took the BMW defensive driving course, but I didn't, because I got my license at 29. Oh well. Anyway, adjusted rating accordingly. Discount Tire got it done. They really are trustworthy and kind, even though someone in the warehouse fouled up. I brought my ancient Mercedes convertible in for an air check before going to Emissions. This is a summer car, and the furthest I've ever driven it is to Frederick. The tires look brand new, no visible tread wear at all. Rubber seems fine. But Josh checked them and said that since they're 10 years old, bad things could happen. So we ordered new tires and set an appointment for Saturday at 10. I arrived at 10:08, and Daniel checked me in. Then I waited. And waited. And waited. My car stayed where it was. Finally, at around 11:40, Cade comes and tells me that the warehouse sent the wrong tires. What?! And they're just finding out after I sat there for 1.5 hours?! I was very unhappy. I had errands and two more appointments. That's an hour and a half that I will never get back. Why didn't they check for the tires when I came in? And why did I wait an hour and a half when my appointment was at 10 am??? Cade said that this is their busy season. They have three 10 am appointments, three at 10:30, three at 11, etc. He said that he would try and have the tires sent over later that day, and would call me. This did not happen. It's Monday, and I do not think that have time to get tires. They'll have to wait until I return. Cade assured me that I would not have to wait at my next appointment, and my tires will be put on immediately, which is very nice, but I doubt that I can find the time today. I also wonder how he can do that, if they're scheduling three appointments every half hour, and it takes about an hour and a half for each car. (EDIT: it does not take that long to put on the tires. That includes waiting time.) The tires were crazy expensive because of the stupid effing tariffs. That just adds insult to injury. I have always liked Discount Tire, and have never gotten tires anywhere else, but this foul-up is unconscionable. I will say that Cade was very apologetic and is doing his best to make it right. I appreciate that, but I did waste time that I couldn't spare. They really should check for the tires when the customer arrives. Not over an hour later. I will update this review when I finally go back for the tires. They may have to hold them for a while. Saturday was Tire Day, today is other things. I hope that they don't accidentally sell them to someone else. I've already paid for them. I certainly hope that a tire doesn't blow, as Josh said it might. The spare is getting replaced too, as it is over 20 years old. Arrrrrggghhh. They did very nicely say that they would try to find a wheel for the spare, which is a full-size tire. I hope that they can. They found a tire to fit my wheel. That works. So now I have five new tires.
