Well, long story short it got paved the week befor Thanksgiving. Thats to late in the year. Half the driveway came out like crap. I called with my concerns and was polite and patient the whole time. He said it was the quality of the ashfalt and sometimes that happened. He offered to seal coat for no charge later the following year. I was satisfied with that. After a few months into summer I sent him a text asking if he was still going to do it . He said he had not forgot about me. Never showed. Be careful! He came to look at the sidewalk, gave me a reasonable quote, and the sidewalk job was completed a week later. Toby and his crew worked hard all day and did an excellent job, leaving us with a beautiful new sidewalk. We have hired him to come back in about a month to reseal our driveway, and I am sure Toby and his crew will do a great job with that also. These are good people who work hard and do excellent work!

Found Jeff through Thumbtack and he was very responsive. Came over soon after - very personable, very responsible, professional. He explained everything he would be doing, to include taking before and after photos of the gutters so we could see the build up over time as well as the finished work. While cleaning the gutters, he found some blocks in a few places. Dirt/mud/crud overflowed the gutters and ran down the siding of the house - which he took pics of. Well, he then pressure washed our siding, and you couldn't even tell he had been there - no dirt, nothing. cleaned up after himself and did a wonderful job. this cost us thousands less if we were to do gutter cleaning once a year for the next 20 years vs installing those guards. Jeff also said that due to our property and how it was set up, gutter guards were not needed. I really felt good about getting our gutters cleaned, and knowing it was done correctly, to include washing the dirt off the house. i would TOTALLY recommend!!! give jeff a call!!!

I paid MW Contracting nearly $9,000 for a complete bathroom remodel, which included the installation of a Schluter shower system. Shortly after the installation, I noticed that some of the grout lines on the shower floor were turning black. Despite MW Contracting's attempts to re-grout a few small areas, the problem persisted. In an effort to rectify the situation, I reached out directly to Schluter, the manufacturer of the shower systems, especially since Matt Willoughby had highly endorsed their product as reliable. Regrettably, instead of addressing the issue constructively, Matt became confrontational during our phone conversation. The Schluter consultant's report outlined deviations from industry standard guidelines. It clearly indicated that the shower floor tile had been improperly installed, sloping away from the drain and causing water to pool rather than drain properly. Consequently, I am now forced to squeegee the floor after every shower to prevent mold growth. **Summary of Schluter Report:** Based on the report and photos, we noted the following deviation from the Schluter®-Shower System Installation Handbook and industry standard guidelines: The Schluter®-KERDI-SHOWER-T and shower floor tile assembly were pooling water. The inspection report and photos show that in some areas of the shower floor tile assembly, water was pooling away from the drain, indicating the tray was not even and level or the tile was installed sloping away from the drain. The KERDI-SHOWER-T shower tray needs to be installed on an even and level substrate to ensure the pre-sloped tray can evacuate water toward the drain assembly.

It was an odd coincidence that my son, Joe, suggested I enlist Patrick to take over the installation of the flooring in our home. My wife and I were in dire straits with the flooring. We had stripped all the old carpeting from 1200 square feet on 2 floors of our home and pulled the molding from around all the walls. We purchased a pallet of vinyl flooring from Costco and engaged a contractor who specialized in flooring. Unfortunately, this contractor was not up to the task. After arriving late and leaving early the first two days on the job, he abandoned us. My wife and I had checked into a motel with our dog to give this contractor an undisturbed work area. We had moved every large piece of furniture in our home to make way for the flooring. Our home, to put it mildly, was topsy turvy. When the contractor pulled out, I had a sense of doom. We put out an emergency call to friends and family for names of contractors who could step in on immediately to help us with our dilemma. Enter Patrick Middleton. I have to admit I was a bit hesitant to hire a young man who I had known only as a teammate of my son in high school 15 years earlier. I wanted a competent contractor who could provide professional quality service. I knew Patrick as a high quality and responsible person in my previous acquaintance, so any question of integrity or character was already resolved. When Patrick and his business partner showed up to assess our disaster area that our home had turned into, his competence as a contractor was quickly established. He went about assessing the needs of the stripped flooring, looked over the materials we had on hand, and gave us an overview of how he would pick up where our initial contractor had left off. I was very impressed. My wife, who had also known Patrick for 15 years but never in his new identity as a contractor, was also swept away with the confident professional competence Patrick displayed in his plan to rescue our flooring installation. Patrick gave us a quote and we accepted immediately. Patrick and his partner showed up on time and went to work immediately. I knew they had other commitments, but they worked us in and made steady progress. They connected the unfinished work of the previous contractor and my feeble attempts to get something done, and made our home flooring start looking good. It got better as they worked through. The difficult transitions from the easy planking in a rectangular room to the odd angles and small adjustments in doorways were completed with complete skill. Every day my admiration for the competence and work ethic for the two partners of MW Contracting grew. They were clearly were determined to provide us with total satisfaction. Our ongoing communication was seamless. every promise made was a promise kept. They were respectful of our household, including our 90 pound lab who often wanted to join them. In the end, my wife and I were overjoyed at the inset and competent skillset of Patrick and his partner to complete our flooring in difficult circumstances. I'm sure Patrick and his partner will be a great success in his new endeavor as a contractor and will soon be in huge demand. Him and his team demo'd our old bathroom and glued tile to the shower walls that were chipped, broken and uneven which resulted in uneven, crooked grout lines and left us having to replace tile and grout again after we fired him from the project. When I asked his workers why they were putting chopped and cracked tile up that was uneven, they said "you were in a hurry for a shower, right?" The workers, Tone, Travis, Bruce and Anthony he had were less than skilled leaving unfastened molding and trim against the bottom of the wall, breaking brand new tile, creating bigger than needed holes in our ceiling for can lights, leaving live electrical wires dangling from the ceiling and scratched vinyl flooring that they just installed. Not sure if this was all due to their lack of experience or the weed they were smoking on the job that probably impaired their ability to do the work properly. John also never arrived to our house when he said he would. Said he would be here at 9am. Then texted at noon and said he'd be there by 3pm. When he finally did show up, he would work for a hour and then disappear. This happened almost every single day. And when he did show, he did subpar work, dropped our butcher block on the ground, cracked a brand new vanity sink, broke a coffee maker and much more. He does not know basic math either.. I had to keep ordering more tile and flooring as he was not able to properly give me the correct amount the first time. He is going to say he is going to do something and then not do it. The certified and licensed professionals we hired after John to FIX all the mistakes and complete the work in our house were shocked at the less than acceptable quality of his work and could not believe how much we paid him to basically do nothing but create more work and a bigger mess. We hired him because he was able to start right away and what a mistake that was. If you ever come across this person or his employees, RUN! The I only thing John Giordano is good at is over promising, underdelivering and cashing checks.

The place was completely gutted down to studs and John and his team transformed this space. They did everything from hanging and finishing drywall to installation of cabinets, sinks, showers, tile flooring in bathroom, and lvp flooring in other rooms. He was able to take down and move walls to enlarge the bathroom as before it was just too small. He opened up the door way to the living room to make it feel more spacious. He also added beautiful built in shelves for more storage in the bathroom. He was able to add a stackable washer and dryer to the corner of the kichen for our tenants. The end result is amazing and I have received many compliments on how beautful the place is. He was responsive and took on any extra additional work we needed and worked nights and weekends to get the job get done. I've also used John on a job at my home. Hlast year he painted my cabinets.
