Well, I've been to O bricks several times. It's local, service always great, polite staff, clean and I love outdoor seating. Half price wines on Wednesday doesn't hurt. Tonight my husband and I went and had the Lobster Appetizer. It was not good The lobster was served similar to Escargot with a chunk of lobster in each little hole on the dish with garlic butter and spinach. Good right! The entire plate was covered in a really thick layer of Mozzarella Cheese. Who's the star of the show lobster or cheese!! Think about this!! Just saying! read more

Really great food and a nice atmosphere. The left of the house is more casual dining, whilst the right side is more of a cocktail bar atmosphere with high-tops. I've had a myriad of plates from this place and they are always great. The sandwiches, salads, and entrees are always fresh, clean, and plated nicely. The meats are always cook appropriately and everything is properly dressed. My daughter loves all of the kids meals and the servers always bring her a nice plate of fruit! The brunch is wonderful - if you're able to sit outside (weather permitting) I recommend you do so. On a Saturday the street is lively but not annoying. Try it. The drinks are mixed well and are reasonably priced. Really great restaurant and all of the those that have served me have been very efficient and polite. read more

Great food, and the freshest fish I ever had. Had the Mahi Mahi sandwich, delicious! I wish the piece was a little larger though to cover the big bun. They also could have given me some more fries. My friends had the lobster BLT sandwiches, they said they were outstanding. Their mac n cheese was so flavorful and creamy! My other friend had the Mahi salad, so yummy and fish so fresh. Drinks are always good! Food however, not so much. Came here 2 times. First time I got a burger. I ordered medium rare, but the middle was RAW. It was almost frozen. I sent it back and it came back and was it was well done I took it home and gave it to my fur kids . Drinks were good and waitress was really nice. Second time here, I ordered a steak. And same thing, frozen raw in the center. I think if I would of said medium or medium well it would of came out rare and I would of been better off lol overall staff is nice and place is clean read more

This restaurant /pub is a gem! Service, food and wine are exceptional and better than most very expensive restaurants, a.k.a Beach Bistro. For example, we ordered a very nice 2014 Napa Quilt Cabernet that was only $10 over retail... Very reasonable! Food was excellent, and personalized service with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Marc, one of the managers, took time to talk with us and made sure everything was to our liking. Excellent restaurant without the snootiness and expensive price! O'Brick's is our local dining out favorite. We go here a few times a month and always enjoy the delightful staff, the food and drinks. Everything always tastes delicious; and the environment is uplifting and cheerful. We love the outside dining the most and are true fans year round. My favorite is the appetizer crab cake and a Brick House salad. The crab cake is just like the Maryland ones filled with lump crab and almost no filler. All of the salads are fresh and huge! What a great place! Bar is wonderful, killer martinis,good beer selection, nice crowd. The food is good here, I've taken many people to lunch and dinner, and everything has been very good. Great steak dinner and fun atmosphere. The service was good and chicken wings were full wings! The portion sizes were generous- we sat outside and enjoyed the people watching. Inside was more crowded and loud but it was a Saturday (so that is a sign of good business). The bathrooms were not clean enough (but once again - Saturday and Busy). O'Bricks has a great menu everyone can enjoy. The food is really very good and the staff could not be more friendly and helpful. The bar area is well decorated. My only input here to the owner is that the dining room could use a little something. I would think that white icicle Christmas lights stapled to the ceiling would give the room a little charm. So here is a classic. I just spoke to Bethany the owners daughter and I have 16 guys coming down for a golf trip in October. We were there in 2019 in Oct with 13 guys and spent about $2,000+ there and by the way the whole experience was great. From food to service. So 3 guys less then this year. Anyway, she now tells me she can't accommodate us. I was even willing to do 2 tables of 8. We were willing to roll with the idea of staggering the orders etc.. to not over load the kitchen ( which we get as we are in the restaurant business) but they must be soooo busy they just don't need the business. And 6 of us have winter homes there and love going and hanging out with Jasmine at he bar. This is very disappointing from a place we used to love. Bethany may want to go to "how to accommodate customers the right way" School. Sorry Jasmine we will not see you I guess. Great job Bethany. You must make Dad proud how you handle customers. Had a very good dinner at this restaurant. We ended up ordering the salmon and the ribs with risotto. I guess I had a different expectation with the ribs it was more braised beef that ribs but still extremely good. The place has excellent customer service! Really no complaints about my experience. This is a must if you are in Bradenton area. Food is outstanding and services is great.

The food was good, it came out fast but was slightly undercooked. As I got to the middle of the crab cake I could not help thinking I was eating slightly warmed uncooked crab cake mix. I was hoping the kitchen stuck a thermometer in the food to confirm it was cooked but I guess I'll never know. When we got home my husband said the same thing. He thought his grouper sandwich was undercooked in the middle. Slow it down there and make sure food is cooked before rushing it through. Staff was friendly and nice. Outdoor atmosphere trumps inside dining room. We will try it again. read more

Drinks and martinis were good as usual. The bread at the start of the meal was so stale you almost couldn't bite through it. The lobster blt came out on what seemed to be 2 Walmart brand hot dog buns. I'm not sure there was any lobster, it was just a seafood salad on Walmart bread. The lobster Mac n cheese had a good amount of lobster but the Mac and cheese wasn't any good. Agree with another review that it's like something from a box. We'll be back for drinks. read more

While visiting the area for my sons golf tournament, we were looking for a good last night out meal to enjoy and I'm so happy we came to O'Bricks! The service was out of the park and the food was amazing. My 10 year old son ordered something that was a little too strong for his taste buds and the staff was quick to notice and suggested they bring out a new meal to him with no hesitations. My husband and I are staying in Sarasota. We like to try new places so we stopped at O'Bricks. It was definitely worth the 55 minute drive. My husband had the chicken sandwich and I had the grouper sandwich with fresh red roasted potatoes. Everything was delicious. Including the Wonderful fresh rolls. The service was great the manager was friendly and spent a few minutes talking. We didn't know one of the owners is from Buffalo our home town. I had a couple of glasses of a rose wine with an old friend. She teaches about wine at the Culinary Institute of America in California. She entirely approved. The bartenders were wonderful. There is nothing Irish about this place. The menu is a mixture of different kinds of foods but nothing Irish. The closest thing to Ireland on the menu was fish and chips, they were awful. My wife got a turkey sandwich and gumbo that she said was good. I don't recommend the restaurant. read more
