There wasn't much open around 9pm so I figured I would give this place a chance. I ordered for curbside, but it shouldn't be called curbside when you still have to walk in and get your order. I got the salmon with "Cheese" grits. The salmon pretty much just had paprika on it, flavorless and overcooked. The grits were terrible, nothing cheesy about them and no flavor. My daughter got the burger with Mac n cheese. As you can see in the picture it was like 2 spoonfuls of Mac n cheese, what a joke. My husband and I decided to eat there on Saturday. I was awful. We ordered the grouper sandwich and there's no way what we got was grouper. I was the thinnest piece of fish I have ever gotten. 16.99 a piece. We paid 54.00 dollars for something we couldn't eat. I ordered broccoli and got French fries. I finally got my broccoli and it was very salty. Service was just OK. It also took quite a while to get our food. We will never be back l! read more

First time we ate there we dined in and it was fine. Second time we had it delivered and received the strangest most disgusting version of what we ordered. I ordered a steak which was some sort of mystery meat. Definitely not steak. It had holes throughout the meat and a spongey texture similar to tofu. I spit it out. I had my husband try it to confirm I wasn't being picky and he spit it out. That man eats anything, too. So that was $22 in the garbage. My husband ordered soup with a salad. Salad was fine but his baked potato soup had French fries in it instead of pieces of potato. Overall really weird meal that we didn't eat. The worst potato soup ever! Couldn't even eat it. No Flavor, thin and too much cheese. Greasey, from the cheese and couldn't find the bacon.

The entire meal was horrible. The steak was so tough I couldn't eat it. The asparagus was burnt and potatoes runny. I paid 60 dollars for something I couldn't eat. I will never eat from there again. read more

O'Charley's is a great place to grab some food. I normally get the tenders and fries because I like chicken tenders. Service can be a little slow but we try and go at less busy times so maybe they are using that time to do some other task before it gets busy again. We sit in the bar area when we go and the bartender is also your server so they are trying to cover their tables and make all the drinks for the entire restaurant, so this may be the reasoning for slower service. The ambience is the same as all O'Charley's with some local flare thrown in. read more

The Cobb salad was great. I asked for a vegetarian version. They accommodated very nicely (as you can see from picture). My husband got a club sandwich. He was happy with how big it was. O'Charley's is a post closing-night tradition for good reason. They are always very friendly and accommodating to us - even when the cast spontaneously breaks out in song and keeps them past closing. (In this case, serenading a very kind, hard working waitress with "Be Our Guest" from the cast of Beauty and the Beast) We made great memories last night. The food was great, the glasses were full, and the staff knew how to deal with a bunch of excited teens. Ate here late one evening while visiting in Morristown. We split the seafood platter - cod, shrimp, and stuffed crab - was more than enough food for the 2 of us and reasonably priced at $20. Our large party of 40+ made an impromptu decision to go to O Charley's for a late, celebratory dinner. We arrived at 9:30pm. Albeit very late, the staff was most welcoming. We have not been to O'Charley's in Morristown in a while, but decided to go last night. It was AMAZING! Our waitress Tasha was the best! So helpful, efficient and pleasant! Everything we ordered was delicious. I had the California Chicken Salad and Chicken Tortilla Soup. The greens were fresh and the chicken was cooked perfectly. The soup was like a nice chicken chili. My husband had the Louisiana Sirloin which was cooked to perfection and he was pleased with the corn on the cob option instead of a bowl. We highly recommend revisiting and we will definitely be back. read more

I am the type who gives too many last chances. Last night my husband took me out for our 15th anniversary. He had a coupon for 20% off our meal. So we made the huge mistake of going to O'Charley's. My husband always orders ginger ale. He told me it was flat. The server said it was from a bottle. I always order a cup of coffee with creamer. The coffee had been sloshed bad enough that I had to put a few drink napkins to soak up all the coffee. The coffee was luke warm and tasted burnt. We both ordered the chicken tender and steak entree. My steak was extremely dry and tough. The tenders weren't much better. The server seemed to have a hearing problem, plus she was more concerned with the big party of women at the next table. Our experience was horrible and it is guaranteed that we will never go back. I didn't list all the problems in this review. The manager sent us a gift card to entice us back. I went up to the 4 stars, but would actually rate this roughly a 3.5 stars. Just a notch above average, no real disappointments, but no real "wow" moments either. Typical middle of the road priced sit down traditional American fare. On par with the Ruby Tuesday's, Applebee's, Chili's, etc. The service was above average. Our waitress was attentive, courteous and pleasant to have. She forgot to ring in one of the orders out of our party of 10 but extremely apologetic and it seemed like an honest mistake. She got it rushed out and it wasn't that big of a deal. On average the people in my party rated their food anywhere from a 6.5-8 on a scale of 1-10. I tried one of the featured "new" dishes: whiskey chicken pasta. It definitely didn't have the taste of a pasta I've had anywhere else. And, not in a bad way. I'd give it an 8. The portion size was great, more than enough to take home (and I'm a "good" eater). The dinner rolls were great, fried pickles were average. Overall a pleasant experience. read more

I drink water with my meals because I don't' like sweet drinks or caffeine. Their water pipes need inspecting or they need to install a water filter because the water smells like rotten eggs. Makes you wonder if it is clean. Please, just install a good water filter going into the building so that we will have clean and pure water not water that smells like rotten eggs. read more

This is one of our favorite places to go for lunch and dinner. Their rolls are always so good and come hot to the table. Recently liquor by the glass was passed for Morristown, so they now have a full bar. Really good regular margaritas and mudslide margaritas! Recently we went with some friends to celebrate my birthday and the food was great! I got the steak pasta and he had the parmaseagn chicken pasta. We usually take home something for leftovers and so the cost is definitely spread out for more than one meal. The drinks are reasonably affordable as well. Most mixed drinks are about $3-5. I've been in other restaurants where they are $6-8. This has a great bar atmosphere for friends to sit around and chat as well as a large restaurant area with plenty of tables. Very little wait if any usually when we go in. I think the longest was 10 - 15 minutes because we had a large group. The servers are all very nice and attentive. Me and my wife ordered food to go. I ordered a fried fish dinner with tarter sauce and i do not remember what she ordered because she was not satisfied and i have tried to block my experience because it makes me sick each time i think about it. As i was dipping my fish in the tarter sauce i saw something in it. I thought maybe a piece of fish had broken off in it. No when i pulled it out, it was a piece of chicken. O'charley's what happened? I'll start by saying my wife and I went in at 2:15 p.m. and was seated, we waited 15 mins from the time we were seated until our server came to start us with drinks. Once we ordered drinks we waited another 7-8mins before our drinks and bread were brought to the table. Remind you the was only two tables sat at the time in our servers area so it wasn't even close to being busy. We ordered our food, my wife got the "endless" soup (fully loaded potato soup) , salad and bread and I ordered the half club sandwich with the fully loaded potato soup. Once our food came my wife's potato soup had NO potato at all and mine had two little chunks. We couldn't tell our server as she was nowhere to be found. Then my wife finished her "endless" salad and bread (didn't like the soup) and the waitress never came over once to refill bread, salad, drinks or even ask how we were doing. Finally once she came back to us we complained about our potato soup and she gave us an excuse to why there wasn't potato in it. Again there never once was refills on anything the entire 45mins we were there. It took another 10mins to get our bill, once our bill came she didn't even bring it, another waitress brought our bill and told us she had no idea why she didn't want to bring the bill. We always come to this OCharleys on Wednesdays. Free pie after a great meal is always great I always get the California chicken salad and the mane me a raspberry vinagarette dressing for it. Greasy dirty dishes we asked to be replaced. Table top greasy. The 4 egg California omelet on brunch menu was very small. Supposed to have bacon but not there. Pico de gallo was just a few pieces of chopped tomato. Service mediocre. Few places to have brunch in Morristown. General Morgan Inn in Greeneville is only 30 minutes away and a very nice place for brunch or any meal. Sorry I didn't go there. read more

I wish there was an option to rate food and service separately. The food has been great and would receive 5 stars. The same can't be said for the service, which is the sole reason I won't be returning to this restaurant. I'm new to Morristown and have been to this location twice in the past month. Both times, I have been served by two different passive aggressive servers and one ornery bartender. On the first visit, I ordered a vodka sprite. The first drink served to me was definitely a gin and tonic. As a previous bartender in one of Las Vegas' busiest night clubs.... I know my alcohol. I politely told my waitress who returned it to the bartender. I then proceeded to watch the bartender make a sour face and smirk. Then I watched her make a vodka tonic, which again was not what I ordered. I kept my mouth shut this time, as I was out with a group of coworkers and didn't want to seem needy. The atmosphere was great and the food was excellent. Everyone else had a great time. On my second visit...Again I ordered a vodka sprite. The first drink was right. On my second drink... I am going to assume the bartender saw me and recognized me as the one who sent a drink back on my previous visit. She intentionally made me a vodka tonic. This time her passive aggressiveness was heard loud and clear. I kept my mouth shut. The whole group noted how rude she was and none of us will return. It's unfortunate. We all love to go out for drinks every Friday after work, but after a long week... this is the last thing I want to deal with. One might say, I'm over reacting, as sprite and tonic are easily confused. Except, one comes out of a bottle and the other out of a bar tap and I like the sweetness of sprite combined with vodka.
