Chicken tenders were the worse if ever tried to eat. So overcooked , no breading and so tuff. For $21 they are definitely overpriced & overrated!

Aubrey's is always a go to when we are in Morristown. The service is always top-notch and the atmosphere is always pleasant and welcoming. Food is almost always fresh and served piping hot. If you're there, do yourself a favor and try the cheesecake. It's better than Juniors of New York!

These are "chips" and the homemade buttermilk/garlic dipping sauce they come with is delicious too!

Aubrey's Morristown-TN We ate here on Saturday 8/24/24. There were 8 of us. One of which is my developmentally disabled sister so she can get a little loud sometimes and some people don't always know how to act around her or take her. From the moment we all walked in we were all treated with great respect and kindness from the hostess to the waiter to other staff as we were leaving. Anyone who has a family member like this knows how important and rare this can be. Now for the important stuff the rest of you care about. The food was absolutely amazing. There were eight of us so we had a variety of dishes. There was Asian Chicken Salad, Patty Melts, Fish and Chips, Tenders and fries, Tomato Basil Pasta, Baked potato soup and Caesar salad, Classic Cheese burger and fries, and homemade "chips" and nachos for appetizers. Everything was absolutely DELICIOUS! The "chips" were to die for! They are sliced potatoes fried crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside and seasoned with the best blend of spices!! Not spicy just yummy! My husband stated the burger in his patty melt was the "best burger I've ever eaten"! He can't stand any pink in his meat so he's used to eating charcoal mostly for burgers and steaks. But this patty melt he got he described as being well done but still juicy and had the best "crisp" edges and crust and full of flavor. I tried my daughter's potato soup and it was heavenly! I don't know what it was seasoned with but it was a very unique blend and it was very very good! The portions are generous! Everyone but my husband and father in law had to get boxes to go. Our server was attentive without being intrusive x kept all 8 of us with glasses filled at all times. Food served hot and timely. We spent almost 2 hours there for a family luncheon and enjoyed every minute of it. It's got a really nice bar and a variety of drink choices if you feel like a cocktail, daily specials, very clean and modern but inviting decor. I honestly can't remember the last time I've enjoyed a restaurant so thoroughly. If you are looking for a nice lunch or evening out I HIGHLY recommend you try Aubrey's! I know we for sure can't wait to go back! And you HAVE to get their chips!!!!!

Aubrey's is an excellent restaurant to visit if you are in Morristown. Not only is the food delicious, but the service is top-notch. We started with their spinach con queso, and their freshly made bread. The spinach was extremely flavorful and the chips were nicely fried and salted. I really enjoy their bread as it's slightly sweet and paired with a butter that also has sugar in it. We then got a variety of entrées, including salads, salmon, tacos, Reuben, sandwiches, and multiple sides. Everything was spot on and delicious. The salmon tacos are very soft and flavorful with the salsa. The Reuben is thick, juicy, and the dressing has a nice tang. The salads are fresh and crisp. And all of their sides are excellent. I highly recommend their sweet potato fries, squash casserole, sautéed mushrooms, french fries, steamed, broccoli, macaroni, tomato, bisque, and baked potato. You can't go wrong with any of those. We then end of the meal with a nice chocolate cake with ice cream and caramel sauce. The cake was really warm, and the ice cream quality was very creamy. Our server, Timmy, did an absolutely fantastic job throughout our meal, constantly checking on us, and ensuring that we had everything that we ordered. He also offered to take pictures of us, as we were struggling to do it ourselves. He is great!

You need reservations; if you don't have them, you risk getting turned away. It's a husband and wife running the entire place. No extra help. They want you to stay and relax and enjoy everything. We only stayed 90 minutes and they tried to get us to stay longer. Like all the reviews say, it's a very European experience. We've never experienced anything like it. We started with an old fashioned and a margarita from the daily cocktail menu. Olga welcomed us with a hug and took us to our table. She didn't stay out long because she is the chef! But it was still cool to interact with her in the beginning. Both her and her husband made us feel like family. It started pouring and he walked outside with an umbrella and held it for 2 girls at the bar. I thought that was super sweet. We ordered the salmon roe caviar and it was divine. Our second course was the oyster flatbread and I ended up being sad I was sharing it. It was that good!!!!! We were pretty full at this point after a couple more drinks. They were really busy too, so we decided to go ahead and get the check. It started raining right after we got our check, so we ended up getting one more drink to wait it out. We had the best time and can't wait to come back!

While we were walking the Arts and Crafts Loop near Gatlinburg (I HIGHLY recommend this as well), we noticed this wonderful-looking restaurant nestled away in the green forested hills across the street. We opted to come back here for dinner on our last night in the Great Smokey Mountains. Sooooo glad we did! Owned and operated by a European couple, the Red Oak has the ambiance of a quaint European restaurant that one would find tucked away in the Alps. While the inside atmosphere is wonderful, we chose to sit outside to enjoy the very quiet and beautiful forested hills of Gatlinburg. Service was incredible and very European - they told us they would not bother us unless we asked for something and that the table was ours for the evening. Yep...we stayed there for three hours, sipping our wine and trying various dishes of exquisite flavor. I'd like to say try this or try that, but to be honest: all the dishes we tried were absolutely phenomenal. We cannot wait to try this place again!

We had been meaning to try Humble Hog as I'm a huge fan of smoked bologna so I was disappointed to find that is only served at lunch. Our server was attentive and super sweet. She made some solid recommendations and we took her up on them. We opted instead for a few small plates and my wife and I shared the brisket. We opened with lobster hush puppies and burnt ends. The burnt ends were terrific, well seasoned, wonderfully smoked and a fair portion size. The hush puppies lacked lobster but were still tasty and cooked made to order. From there we indulged in the chipotle smoke Mac and cheese, brisket and corn pone. The brisket was terrific and tender and well smoked, the Mac and cheese was SUPERB and definitely had a spicy little kick but the corn pone was awful. I understand that it's essentially cornbread pancakes but there was zero flavor and they were almost cold. I was looking forward to these because you don't see them on the menu many places abut they were not good. Cornbread served like this should be made to order and served hot and fresh. We finished with the banana pudding which was excellent and I think the finish the top with marshmallow fluff that they torch to give it a smoky taste. So when you head down to humble hog go at lunch and try the bologna, I bet it's amazing...and skip the corn pone.

Most of the restaurants seating is at two long bars that are the length of the restaurant. It really works out well, blends that southern hospitality with the more unique pace of seeing chefs make their creations. We tried so many dishes and all were just incredible. The lamb skewers were impeccable -- do NOT miss this dish. It's such great flavor and the house pickles are a must with this!! The next was the paella. It was next level. Bursting with flavor and the best bang for the buck! Sooo much food and you just don't want to stop eating it all. The octopus is made so perfectly -- loved this! The patatas bravas are so comforting too, love this. The waitstaff was so friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was so cozy and intimate! Don't skip the sangrias either!!

We started with the pimento dip, the menu states it comes with tortilla chips, but the chef has changed to use fresh homemade potato chips instead which both my wife and I prefer. It was really good. Next, we received our main courses. I ordered the steak, which comes with garlic mashed potatoes and broccoli. My wife ordered the salmon, which comes with rice. The steak was so good, it is now tied with the best steak I have ever had in my life. It was cooked perfectly, but what set it apart is that it was the most tender, melt in your mouth steak I have ever had. I don't know how they can get a steak that tender, but it was amazing.
