    PBW Pizza

Went there a few days ago while visiting Paducah. The atmosphere is good with low noise level. It is located in a former bus terminal so has some nostalgic decor. The service was good. Got the PBW pizza and it was very good as well as PBW hotdog combo. Ordered Brewer's fries with the herbed Parmesan for an appetizer. Fries were good. Hotdogs were filling. Had onion rings as a side and it was very good, well breaded and not greasy. Noted that with each bite of the onion ring came with a easily bitten piece of onion as opposed to some other places where the whole piece of onion seems to want to come out with a single bite, if you know what I mean. One of our group got the red ale and said it was good. Overall a good experience and would recommend.

Love the pizza. The chicken fingers and fries are a bountiful delight. They give you enough for two meals. I always enjoy the experience there. I wish they were open more hours. I've stopped by a couple of times (it's on my way home from work) and they were closed several of those times. Maybe it's their Winter hours. Don't sleep on this local establishment. They also do a lot for smaller charities and have great music/bands on some nights.

Visiting Paducah for the weekend & wanted to try the Paducah Beer Werks for lunch. My husband & I split the meal of Garden Salad, Hot Brown w/french fries & there was no extra plate charge. The salad was delicious, crisp fresh lettuce, great assortment of toppers, served with honey mustard dressing (tasted homemade). The Hot Brown while tasty was not as good as the original hot brown, fries were excellent. Service was excellent, ambience was clever & fun. Will definitely visit again.

    The Figgy Burger

Found this local spot as we were driving through Paducah. Started off with the fried pickles, a little too salty for me but my boys enjoyed them. The figgy burger was soo good! Especially with the fig jam. My boys shared the Corleone pizza & they really liked it, added honey drizzle & it topped it off.

I went to the Paducah Beer Werks in the mid-afternoon, and they weren't too busy. Lots of parking. Lots of available tables, both inside and out. There was a smoker about four tables away, so I had to ensure cigarette smoke occasionally, as the wind shifted. The server was friendly. She brought out my beer right away, and the food came out promptly! The salad had bacon and ranch dressing, and was very good! The burger was awesome, also! The beer (PBW Orange Blossom Special wheat ale) tasted awesome and was served cold! Great experience! Highly recommended!

Figgy Stardust pizza with no prosciutto

We ended up here after a long day of driving. I was very tempted yet wary to order an Eggplant Parm sandwich at a brewery but the decision was made for me when they were out of it. Settled on the Figgy Stardust Pizza without the prosciutto; the crust was very good and the pizza delicious but a bit skimpy on the figs (needed more without the prosciutto). Hubby had the crispy bone in wings - ordered medium spice but should have ordered mild (I tasted the sauce and agree it was spicier than medium). The Parmesan fries were hot and crispy. The beer was good - I had the PBW orange blossom special wheat beer and hubby had the Blood Orange Red Ale. We were offered samples of both before making our decision. We both took leftovers for lunch the next day. Service was quick and friendly. Indoor or outdoor seating and overall, kind of quiet for a Thursday evening; don't know what it would be like on a weekend.

Loved the location and the funky atmosphere in an old Greyhound bus station. They have kept some of the features from the station including signage, old lockers, lighting, etc. They have a good selection of brews. I tried an orange wheat that was good as was the raspberry porter. We split a very large house salad that was loaded with warm bacon - got to like that! It was very good. We then had the fig pizza. The crust was thin and crispy. There was lots of cheese. The figs were good but could have used a few more. The servers were all friendly. They do add a service charge for using credit cards.

    Build your own pizza

I ordered a build-your-own pizza. Mine had goat cheese, cheddar cheese, sundried tomatoes, spinach, and pineapple. My dining companions and the server thought this was an interesting combo and I'm not sure why. It was quite a good combo! The crust may be corn or something else a little different. Was not a regular old flour crust. We had fried cheese curds as an appetizer. Pretty tasty. One person's long island iced tea had too much sweet and sour for that beverage. But it didn't taste bad. Just a bit off from what we expected. Another person's hot chicken sandwich was one of the best that person's ever had.

Ask the Community - Paducah Beer Werks

Is this place 21 and over or family friendly? I will be in Paducah this summer and would love to give it a try, I will have my 16 year old with me as well.

When we visited, I saw a mix of patrons. It had families and groups. It has food so it is family friendly. It is not your typical brewery. Cool place to checkout and good food.

The locals greeted me like I'd just come back from a long trip instead of walking in for the first time. Either they're incredibly friendly or they thought I needed supervision. Either way, solid welcome. Service was minimal in the best possible way. No hovering, life story, or unnecessary check-ins. Just quick, friendly, and efficient, like they understood I came to eat, not start a long term relationship. Now here's where things take a turn: the food has no business being this good. I ordered the Southside Supreme Pizza, and I'm still trying to figure out how a place that looks like it could host a darts league championship is casually putting out world class pizza. I've had pizza from all over the world and this place can hold its own. Thin, perfectly crispy crust, fresh ingredients, and enough cheese to make you question your priorities but not your choices. It's like the pizza didn't get the memo about where it was being served. So yeah, I give it 5 stars. Come for the dive bar charm, stay because the food quietly outperforms half of the "fancy" places that make you wait 45 minutes for a table and then serve you a disappointment on a wooden board. I'll definitely be back. Next time I might even try to look like I belong.

After doing some record shopping we asked "Where's a good place to go for lunch" and there was a unanimous "Parker's" from standers by. It was also, literally, about 3 blocks away. There's a menu board mounted behind the counter and they can hand you one so you don't have to squint your eyes to see all they have to offer. And this menu is ENORMOUS Parker's is a very cool throwback to the car hops of the 50s and early 60s. You can order outside on the speaker or go inside for the full-on experience. The inside is decorated with movie and music memorabilia and neon. Lots of neon. If you're eating inside you order at the counter, they give you a number, and you find a seat. The menu is hand-held/bar food. Burgers, hotdogs, onion rings, and fries, and a variety of sandwiches and a HUGE selection of sides. My wife had a mushroom and swiss burger, I had your basic cheese burger. Our sides were onion rings and fries. Our food was delivered hot, fresh, and accurate within ten minutes. My wife's burger/onion rings came on a basket shaped like a guitar. #AWESOME!! The food was tasty and delicious. I asked for tomato on my cheeseburger and they were able to add it, but was sliced probably 3/4 of an inch thick! It made the burger look a little lopsided, but it was still good. The staff was friendly and didn't look at me funny when I asked for a side of mayonnaise for my fries (yea I'm that guy). The dining room was authentically decorated, like I said, with vintage movie and music stuff down to the chrome chairs and the soda fountain seat with silver, twirly seats...even the floor tiles were like something you'd see in a movie from the 50s. Our first visit was a great experience and we had a lot of fun despite unrelenting rain. If we get to Paducah again, Parker's Drive In is definitely our lunch destination.
