A cute little Irish pub with great food. We were greeted almost immediately. The menu is limited with minimal selections of dinner items, snacks, appetizers, soups and salads. What we had was very good though. Mozzarella triangles, lightly coated in a panko style bread coating and fried (without a greasy taste) was our starter. My husband enjoyed the fish & chips - 4 large pieces of fish with beef steak style fries. I had the shepherd's pie, which had large chunks of beef inside. There was several slices of toasted bread which I used to sop up some of the wonderful gravy. We also enjoyed a few drinks and played some darts. This was an Irish pub after all. read more

This is a fun Irish themed pub. They'll have drink specials on occasion, happened to be baby Guinness shots for three dollars. Which were pretty good. Service is friendly, fun atmosphere. O'Choppers is a little Irish Bar loved by the locals, especially as a watering hole. We stopped by early one evening for dinner. My shepherd's pie was wonderful, however my wife was not crazy about her burger which was over seasoned (plus it had that fake smoke flavor) and had a texture like a meatloaf. I love meatloaf however when you order a hamburger you expect the texture of ground beef. On another visit I had the irish stew which was also very good. I would go back but just not order the burger. read more

Okay I have to admit that after leaving Flora-Bama around 9:45 after seeing Alabama Big Earl our friends from MS here to celebrate BIRTHDAYPALOOZA, needed food and this was the place to go since it was on the way home and they are open until 2:00 AM. I noticed that all the people here were the workers from the restaurants that close early. We came in and sat at the bar since the place is small and there are a couple of dart boards which add to the ambience of the place. Initially we did find two seats and then another and I want to thank paramedic Sam for moving down a seat and offering me his. He knew the place and made recommendations which we took him on the wings and onion rings. Wings were some of the best I've ever had and I see why they sale the wing sauce. Place was awesome and the two guys behind he bar are also great. We will be back. Great food to soak up the FloraBama. read more

Absolutely delicious Late night food until MIDNIGHT- in Orange Beach! We arrived to the beach super late from our long trip- and were starving- this was one of 3 options on the entire beach that served until midnight- greeted by a friendly Canadian? Bartender. He was funny and helpful- We ordered the Cheeseburger and the Reuben- and chicken wings - WOW!!! We were so impressed. Probably the best chicken wings I've had ever- crispy and sweet and little spicy. The Burger was in the top 3 burgers we've ever had. The Reuben was outstanding. There were dart boards and pool tables to play. WILL BE BACK!!!! read more

I have lived down here for 1.5 years and they have the best wings that I have tried down here. They only have one sauce flavor but it is the perfect mix of heat and sweet. I went there Friday night after work just to test out the wings. I liked it so much that I convinced some out of town guests to go there Saturday night. We ordered wings, French fries, jobless wings and then ordered a ribeye. The sliced the ribeye up for us after cooking it so we could share it. Every item we tried was great and one of the out of town guests said she would go back this week to buy some of the wing sauce to go. read more

This little hole in the wall bar tucked in the middle of a strip mall in Orange Beach is just a Gem. When we lived here we would come here quite frequently, and we visit every time we come back as we did this weekend. Nothing fancy, but service is always on point as the staff is extremely friendly, drinks are reasonable and it has a very welcoming atmosphere with a 'local' flair. They serve food late as well(the wings are surprisingly amazing!) when a lot of the other local businesses are long closed whether it's off or on season. Looking to kick back and have a good drink and don't care about being on the beach? This is the place to go. read more

I have two words for you.... CHICKEN BITES!! That's all you need to know. Best thing you'll ever put in your mouth. The atmosphere is so laid back and chill. The two Irish guys running the place have super dry humor which I really appreciate. Went to O' Choppers based upon Yelp reviews. When we walked in, the bar was fairly empty. Petr, the barkeep, greeted us and said sit anywhere you like. His friendly demeanor made us feel right at home. We ordered the wings and quickly realized that these were the best wings we have ever had. Highly recommend stopping in for a great time! read more

Our group of 7 tried a few restaurants with 1.5 hour wait times and ended up at a Mexican restaurant in the same shopping center as OChoppers. Patrons sitting at a table outside recommended we try it instead of the Mexican place and we were not disappointed. Walked right in, friendly staff, laid back vibe and ice cold beer. The food was outstanding. We ordered a variety from apps to salads to burgers, even Shepherds pie and all was absolutely delicious. We went to Fin and Fork the next night and the vote was unanimous that OChoppers was the better meal. If you're at the beach and looking for something outside of the tourist zone, good company and great food at reasonable prices without the wait, this is the place. Small but nice setting this is a sports bar, with limited menu. However the food is GREAT!! I had the 18oz Ribeye and you could no ask for a better steak. I was concerned about if my wife would like it, but no worries she loved it. If you are in this area and want something different go to this pub. read more

Third time here - took my brother and his wife who were visiting from out of state. We started with wings - fantastic and a portion large enough for all 4 of us to share. My husband and I had steaks - absolutely delicious. My brother has the Cuban sandwich special, he thoroughly enjoyed it. My sister in law enjoyed her shepherd's pie, which she said had nice tender chunks of meats. Service was quick and friendly. Cocktails were great. We only wish the seating was more comfortable - we tried both kinds of tables - if we were more comfortable, we may have stayed longer - enjoyed a few more cocktails and watched the entire football game there. read more
