Dr. Kofensteiner and his staff were great. Turned out I had to get two different kinds of grafts and the end result was as successful as my bone loss would allow. I haven't had any problems since. This was not a fun process, but this office was awesome. I got to watch a movie during my procedure which made the whole process very easy and kept my mind off of what was happening. I highly recommend this office. Oh yeah, I didn't have insurance and they offer a Care Credit card that you can apply for that has 0% interest for a period of time so you can pay it off. Depending on how much you have to spend depends on how long you get the 0%. I wouldn't have been able to afford this without the help of Care Credit.

It is extremely frustrating when you are in customer service yourself and run an office and know how it should go, especially when you reached out to the practice manager. Me and my family have decided to sever our ties here. Which is unfortunate because who really wants to start all over at another dentist practice, but I will not be treated in this way... this makes me feel very unimportant to this office and that they are not really trying to help me. So for that, I'll just take my business somewhere else. No communication in the office. The practice manager does not return phone calls no matter what the concern is. I've reached out to her twice.. I have been using this practice for almost 20 years. Everyone one in my immediate family goes to this practice. I called this dentists and the prices was outrageous, so I went with a chain that does these things. About a week later a filling had come out and I called her office to get it refilled. I had to wait two weeks with a my tooth exposed so I ate only soft things. I finally got into the office and the chair. I could hear her giving the man in the next room this advice - "you will need a root canal and a crown on that tooth". When she came over to me she informed me (without even looking in my mouth) that she could not help me. When I asked why she told me it was because I chose to go with a chain instead of one of the names she gave to me for the implant. I begged her to please just fill the tooth, she huffed and took a short look at it - then informed me that I needed a root canal and a crown. I told her I had no pain, just this hole where the filling came out. Still she would do nothing. I left without any help at all. Thankfully, my exhusband's dentist will see me next week and will refill the tooth. Meanwhile, I have called my insurance provider to inform them of two visits that amounted to nothing! It is my opinion that this dentist is looking to do the most expensive of treatments and it is my opinion that something is going on with these other dentists she listed for the implant - maybe she gets a kickback for the referral? Who knows but it all seems strange. Upon telling my story to the neighbors I was informed they too had similar experiences and that they even had to fight with insurance over charges for things that were never done. I highly recommend you do in-depth research on this dentist before going to her. You may be paying for nothing.

Because charges will appear that nobody told you about and by the time you notice, they will tell you it is your problem not theirs. * Two months after my visits I received a surprise bill for $104.80 with finance charges quietly added that nobody ever mentioned or explained to me. No phone call. No heads up. Just a bill in the mail with charges I never agreed to. * When I called to understand what was going on, the staff was dismissive, rude and completely incapable of having a professional conversation. I came to that call calm with one simple goal -- to understand my bill. What I got instead was attitude, condescension and zero accountability. The conversation escalated entirely because of how their staff handled it. Then the office manager sent me an email that was nothing short of threatening and condescending.
