Yes, those things and more happened at another dental practice, so I was hesitant. Bogey Hills Dental was great to me. The Dr. and staff were extremely efficient and made the work seem like they could do it with their eyes closed. It was a real relief to find this practice. At this new practice it always feels rushed and the treatment reflects that. I've basically begged for help for a year over multiple appointments to deal with teeth pain and bad taste I had around implants. Multiple x rays were taken across two trips from what I recall, and kept being told I was all good. Eventually I had to assume they didn't know what they were talking about or just didn't want to deal with it so I went out for other opinions because they just wouldn't help me get to the cause. And this wasn't severe pain and I wasn't looking for pain treatment, I just wanted to fix the tooth and get rid of the taste I knew wasn't right. After seeing another dentist, an oral surgeon, and a prosthodontist I can assure you there was a lot wrong for quite awhile. Some of these other dentist have much nicer x rays and technology but they said even with older machines it should have been clear. But because I had waited too long to see them I am now looking at implant removal, maybe two of them, and then bone grafts to rebuild and then hopefully a reinstall of implant(s). I'm seeing multiple specialist because some want to pull one implant and some want to pull both because of how bad it got. Then I have to explain I haven't been ignoring my teeth, have been going in for cleaning every 6 months, and have specifically brought up there area in question for over a year and for some reason, the dental professional I put my faith and money into, steered me completely wrong and then wouldn't even return my calls since all this. Don't worry though I paid that last bill you were able to send even though my calls and voicemails were ignored. Do yourself a favor, protect your teeth and your own wellbeing and see someone who has the time, skills, and technology to get yourself treated correctly.

His first words were, "Yeah?"--hardly a welcoming or respectful way to address a patient's concerns. When I introduced myself as her husband and tried to ask for a detailed explanation of the costs and the procedure, his only response was, "It costs this much because I went to school for 16 years." That was the extent of his explanation--no insight into the procedure, no breakdown of the charges, just a rude and dismissive attitude. We were left in disbelief at how we were treated. He didn't explain any of the procedure codes or why this bone graft was priced so much higher than the one my wife had received previously. Instead, he rushed out of the room without providing any further clarification, leaving us feeling dismissed and disrespected. After the encounter, we expressed our dissatisfaction with his behavior, but unfortunately, the damage had already been done. Although his dental assistant tried to answer our questions, the lack of professionalism and medical explanation left us with no confidence in proceeding with the surgery. We ultimately decided to leave and not go through with the procedure. The worst part is, that I would have probably paid for the overpriced bone graft had we been treated with basic dignity. My wife and I both took time off work for this appointment, only to be met with poor customer service and an unwillingness to address our concerns. I had an extremely disappointing and frustrating experience with Ellisville Dental. The only issue…read morewith my teeth was a small gap between my front teeth. Treatment began at the beginning of 2023, and I was charged $4,800 upfront. I paid 50% out of pocket, and the rest was billed to my medical insurance. They set up an auto-pay plan that was supposed to last 12 months at $200 per month. However, they continued charging me for more than 14 months without clear explanation. I requested a full payment and charge breakdown more than 20 times, and they repeatedly refused to provide it. Over the course of nearly 3 years, I was required to attend more than 30 appointments and wear over 50 invisible trays. During this time, I was charged additional fees multiple times for "extra trays" and "lab fees." In total, I ended up spending over $6,000. Despite all of this time, money, and effort, my teeth look essentially the same as they did before treatment. The gap was never fixed, and instead of taking responsibility, they told me I would need to wear a retainer for life. To make matters worse, when I requested a replacement retainer at the end of treatment, they asked me $360. I later confirmed directly with the lab that the actual cost of the retainer is about $10. Ellisville Dental takes no responsibility for failed treatment outcomes and refuses to provide transparency regarding billing or payments. I endured 3 years of discomfort, over 30 appointments, and even a minor surgical procedure, only to end up with no improvement. I have gathered all documentation, including before-and-after photos and payment records, and I am preparing to file a lawsuit. I would strongly caution others to think twice before choosing Ellisville Dental.
