I waited a while to write this review due to me going back and forth about was it worth it. However I decided to write this due to the fact these experiences give the brand a bad name when, in fact it's a customer service issue. I came into the dealer to inquire about purchasing a Cullinan and potentially searching for a Pre Owned Mulsanne. A couple of people I worked with (Jeremy and Julie) were no longer at the dealer, so I had to work with someone new. Right after I was introduced to the person, I was told I had to wait because Alicia Keys and Swiss Beats kids came into the dealer and they had to give them a ride around town in a Rolls Royce. I was a bit taken aback as I didn't realize there was a pecking order at O'gara. I was told that they come in often for rides and hang out around the dealer like stray cats. As a Rolls Royce and Bentley owner, I can barely walk into a dealer without getting profiled and here it is, celebrity kids are getting chauffeured around town. I ended up sitting in a Cullinan and talking to another gentleman at the dealer. I then left and this has been sitting with me since. read more

Highly recommend this dealership if you are in the market for a luxury vehicle. In our case, we traded our used Bentley Flying Spur for the new Bentley Continental Convertible. The deal was stress free negotiation, buyer/seller had reasonable financial expectations on both sides, and the service and respect was impeccable. TL:DR; Garbage customer service, didn't even get to see either car I came for even if one was in the showroom. I came with the intention of checking out either the 620R or a GT (I know, huge difference, but I was having a difficult time choosing between something that looked cool or was probably a bit more comfortable). It's my first time coming in person, but my husband's second. The first time he came, he said he came on a day by appointment only and they said no appointment was needed on any other day. We walked in and one guy is at a desk and the other is helping someone look at the 620R. No problem, maybe they're busy and we also wanted to look at the 620R afterwards. 10 minutes in and it's clear no one wants to help us, as there were a group of salespersons outside having a fun group chat while we waited inside. When they come in after chatting, they go straight to their desks. They don't even look at us. Finally, after another 10 minutes, we decide to leave. As we were leaving, the salesperson who was helping the older gentleman with the 620R was walking back into the store. As we approached him, he made it very clear he did not want to talk to us as he looked down, looked away, and then walked away from us pretty fast. My husband and I are fairly young. We have been told many times that the types of cars we buy are usually bought by older folks. I also understand they probably have many people who come in just to look. However, we do not believe we should have been treated this way without so much as a "hello" or "welcome", especially having come with the intention of buying. My literal only goal at the dealer was to sit in both before making my decision, as this car was supposed to be a present from him to me. Being the only McLaren dealership we are aware of in San Diego, we have decided even if we went to the McLaren dealership in Newport Beach, it likely meant we would still have to get service here. To us, we could not trust people who can't even give us the time of day with any of our vehicles. While I adore the look of McLaren, the determining factor in whether or not I want to buy a car form somewhere is based on customer service, which here is non-existent unless you look old and rich. After this experience, I don't really want a McLaren anymore. I'll look elsewhere for my next vehicle. read more

I recently bought a car from O'Gara, and my salesperson was Zach Lara. Zach didn't push at all, and the whole thing went as smooth as a recently polished gold ring...with a 3ct diamond on top! I have no idea where that came from, but the experience was great. My kids (under age 17) have gone with me to look at cars, and Zach always greeted them like real people, and that only endears a father's heart to the organization. If there's a negative score, this dealership deserves it. The worst customer service ever. People here are mostly arrogant and haughty. One salesman by the name of Tony even texted me an insulting message. They made us apply to several lenders and when we got an approval suddenly the car becomes unavailable because according to one salesperson by the name of Jessica, someone made a 10K deposit Saturday evening. Then the following business day, when we are ready to go, this lady keeps on delaying the transaction saying she has to wait for the other person's credit approval as according to her this guy made a 15K deposit. Immediately I sensed that I am being played around because of the inconsistency of her claim. She kept on saying to wait as this guy may not proceed with the transaction. Wow, why on earth would a person who made a huge deposit decide to back out after getting an approval from a loan? Anyway it's good riddance as God gave me a better deal from a good trustworthy, friendly, accommodating dealer. A bit higher in price but better and newer model and lower mileage less than 10K, looks like brand new super pristine. read more

They have a very limited amount of cars. They don't really have a large selection of Lamborghinis. Their service department in Sorrento Valley takes forever to service your car, they charge for every little thing even oil spill when that's part of their job. They also charge you for service of your vehicle about 5x more than any other place. read more

Great display of new and used Lambo's and even a couple of badass ex-race car Lambo's which were a treat to see. However, we were completely ignored by all staff, salesman, and desk girl etc. We crossed paths with 5-6 people and not one of them even met eyes with us, let alone acknowledged our presence. 20-30 minutes of wandering their showroom and we were completely ignored even being the only customers in there. What they assumed after seeing a heavily tattooed, shaved head, burly man and his wife and two teenage sons on rental bicycles is that no way could we afford a Lamborghini. I own 17 exotic cars and am a car fanatic and race exotics on an amateur level and have owned several Lamborghini's.. Not that that matters, the employee's here should treat every person that walks in their showroom with the same respect.. Single men in $2000 suits, or tourist families on bicycles.. It's funny when I pull into a dealership in a $250k car and every employee comes up to me immediately, but when I'm on a bicycle, they can't even say "hello". This taught my two teenage sons an important lesson in life, so I at least thank them for that. I'm giving them two stars just because of their inventory. The owner of this dealership should take note that not every person with a lot of disposable income looks like a Wall Street executive. And even when people come in to just "look", they should be treated with the same respect as a potential customer. read more

Ogara Coach, Lamborghini of La Jolla made a post on Facebook inviting supercar owners to a 24 hr test drive: Typical bait and switch. I called and spoke with Manuel and made an appointment to schedule the 24 hour test drive. I showed up there for the appointment and Manuel said oh I'm sorry I thought you wanted to do a regular test drive not a 24 hour test drive. I said Manuel I specifically told you I wanted to do the Facebook promo 24 hour test drive and you said that you didn't have an appointment available that week and you can schedule an appointment for next Tuesday which is today. Manuel said let me ask my manager Thomas Hodges and see if he can make an exception, he came back and said the manager said I'm sorry you can only do a test drive. This was our first experience dealing with Ogara Lamborghini and it will be our last. Companies that use Bait and Switch should have Major Negative Repercussions! What a Lie and waste of my time! After looking at Google & Yelp reviews I see this is their standard BS line! read more

Today on July 11th, 2015 at 1400 PST My fiancé and I were invited to an exclusive driving event at O' Gara Coach La Jolla, where we were treated very poorly. Upon arriving to my scheduled appointment, the receptionist asked for my Driver's License and Auto Insurance, which I have no issues in providing. However, I have multiple correspondence through e-mail with the Marketing Manager, Amy Martinson, not stating or informing and without instructions to bring anything, just to arrive and drive. Quite surprised, I agreed to provide my auto insurance coverage policy and willingly walked back to my vehicle to retrieve my auto insurance. When returning with the Auto Insurance Coverage Policy Page in my hand, the Driver, by the name of Richie at O' Gara Coach La Jolla charged at my fiancé and I, waiving his finger at my face, stating that we will only be passengers today. I was invited to drive by Amy Martinson from O Gara Coach La Jolla and had made a scheduled appointment for me to do so and the words from Richie had me in disbelief. Driver, Richie had mentioned that there were other invited guests that drove earlier, however when talking about our driving experience, Richie had told me that there will only be three choices. One, to walk around the facility to look at cars. Two, be a passenger. Three, or leave. I am at this point in a state of shock. I had responded and let him know that I provided my auto insurance and they have already copied my Driver's License for their records. Before I can ask why I cannot drive the vehicle that I was invited for, Richie rudely stated, there is no driving today for you. I do not understand why we cannot test drive the vehicle I was invited to drive. Richie's response to why we could not drive, because we would be disrupting his schedule and their upcoming appointments and noted that no matter what, I will not be driving at all. I responded by letting him know that I have given the required Identification and Auto Insurance, and he responded by stating, let me tell you again in English, you will not be driving today and will only be a passenger. I responded by letting him know, I understand English (It is the only language I speak), and that it was not a big deal if I drove or not, however I provided the required documentation they requested. It would seem that I was stopped initially to provide such information to drive and once providing that information, I was told regardless if we had the Auto Insurance Policy Page, I will not be driving. Then he continues, by saying, if I say it in three different languages, will you understand? He also stated, even after Amy had invited me to drive, Richie said, we do not even need your Auto Insurance, because you are not allowed to drive. Dumb founded, I responded and let him know I clearly understood the first time, but made no sense and Richie was already in an aggressive body language. He continued by saying you can either be a passenger or we can take this outside. That sounds like a threat. At this point in time, Richie points to the Managers office and stated Thomas Hodges (Lamborghini Brand Manager), that I will not be driving. I spoke to the Thomas Hodges and informed him of what just happened. He responds by stating, the driver, Richie is not associated as an employee of O'Gara Coach La Jolla, but was sent as a driver from the Lamborghini Factory. My fiancé responded with, regardless if he works for you or not, he is representing your name (O' Gara) on his shirt, the company professionalism and the company service and Thomas responded, racecar driver's have those attitude. This is unacceptable. I have never felt so mistreated and disrespected and offended. My fiancé stated that we were both offended on how Richie had spoke to us. I responded and let Thomas know that we had no issues of being a passenger only, however being treated poorly as well as agreeing to be invited to drive and upon arrival was threatened and straight forwardly was spoken to with disrespect and with aggression. I had to cancel an important business meeting just to experience this exclusive event. I lost important business transactions arriving to my designated scheduled appointment at O'Gara Coach La Jolla. O'Gara Coach La Jolla wasted my money, time and was approached with aggression in front of my fiancé. As a business owner, I know the quality of service a business should provide and to respect the customer. Richie, the driver, representing O'Gara La Jolla on this day, has failed to meet the simple expectations of customer service and respect and threatened and offended my fiancé and I. I request to have this matter to be investigated and resolved appropriately with disciplinary action. O'Gara did not give us proper instructions before the event and we walked out without any resolution. read more

Okay this review will be very interesting I read all the other reviewers that are talking about salesmen not approaching them I have a good explanation for this especially I went through this myself just recently corporate leased a white Huracan now this is after Symbolic was sold to the new dealership. When the dealer was called Symbolic they definitely had the attitude of if you don't have money I'm not talking to you or they come up to you AGGRESSIVELY and maybe even ask you to leave or they are going to kick you out I know this because they kicked me out and they almost called the cops lol at one point (long story). Anyway after many years going there I have to say that with the new dealership it's a lot more relaxed environment I believe they do know that if you are here you probably are interested and they leave you alone not because they don't really care about you it just because they wanted to give you a relaxed environment again remember if they approach you typically it could be annoying especially if you're not about to pull the trigger. I have to say that with the new dealership it is extremely friendly maybe even family like especially the sales guy Steve Lonski. When we first met I was just like anybody else in there many times I believe we finally spoke and he seemed like a cool dude didn't pressure or anything or charge anything we just ended up talking about cars/motorcycle and things like that well long story short we couldn't refuse the deal was on the table even though there was Las Vegas deal put in place also Thomas, Brett, Paul and Michael was cool is hell. On the day I was there to make the deal Steve was off so it was all about Thomas and Brett and Matt the finance manager and a little bit of Michael. Michael is a cool dude as well he remind me of a guy who have a good time probably never sad in his life and Thomas of course like a party guy in the beginning I was a bit not sure about him but turns out he really care even when I picked up the car Steve and Thomas was very helpful even helped me with me pulling it out off the parking lot even though I almost killed the bumper lol this car is so low and sick! Thomas wanted to make sure that I am super happy leaving the lot both Steve and Thomas looked as if they're the parent and I'm the kid leaving the fleet... funny as hell I was a bit embarrassed a little bit but I really appreciate it. Anyway I know it is long review but I have to express my feelings for the review since there are quite a bit of people that talk about how they don't treat you well its like a family type of environment the girls also are easy going they have a job to do so everyone there at the end of the day want to sell cars believe me but I believe it's their way of keeping it relax oh and don't forget when you go at night time the whole entire place lit up as if there were people there which I thought it was awesome! I don't Yelp often but I have say our experience with this dealership was the worst we've ever had. My fiancé and I were looking for a wedding present dressed in casual clothes. They treated us like we were the dregs of society because we didn't have a Louie Vuitton bag and didn't "look" like we had money. Hate to break it to them but we were going to buy a Lamborghini or two but because of our experience- we will look elsewhere. Every customer that walks through their doors should be treated as such and not be discriminated against. Just because someone walks in wearing casual clothes on a Saturday, doesn't mean they are not worthy of your time. We were there for over 30 minutes and had to tap on someone's window to be spoken with. Their sales manager Tom was less than polite when we asked about getting a specific car, color and timeframe. He didn't have the time for us and brushed us off. Gave us handouts from their website and told us to do the research ourselves. This is something we could have done on our own. We will never buy a car from these people. If you want great service- go across the street to the Maserati dealership and ask for Scott. If if you want a Lamborghini, make the drive to Newport Beach and ask for Gil. read more
