I also received an offer from Carvana for $17,400, and Driveo told me they would match Carvana's offer. Driveo sent an inspector to inspect my truck and told me I would receive their offer before the end of the day. I never received it. Four days later, I received an email from Driveo saying they were ready to buy my truck and asking me to schedule an appointment. I contacted the inspector and told him that I was still waiting for the offer. He then told me the offer was $14,250. I immediately rejected it. He apologized and said he had made a mistake and that the offer was actually $15,250. I rejected that as well. Then, within approximately 30 minutes of texting, the offer changed again to $16,000. The next day, I asked what their final and confirmed offer was. I was told $15,650. So, after initially offering $17,000 and telling me they would match Carvana's $17,400 offer, the numbers kept changing: $14,250 $15,250 $16,000 $15,650. This was extremely frustrating and, in my experience, felt like a game rather than a straightforward vehicle-buying process. I wasted several days dealing with changing offers and inconsistent communication. I would not recommend Driveo to anyone looking for a straightforward and transparent offer for their vehicle.

Since the quote started online, it was an easy process to get registered by scanning a barcode and answering a few questions at the window. Once they test drove the car, the quote was the same. I was then given a list of instructions for my Tesla to reset it to its original factory settings. Please note that you have to do all the steps, even the step for the associate. Once that was done, I was brought over to talk to one of reps who presented the paperwork to sign. It was minimal and the explanation was clear. My balance due at the bank will be handled by Carmax and I was given the remainder of the profit via check. The process was pretty seamless! I'd definitely come back again if I have to sell my car.

Maria is 'off' on Monday, and management is apparently content letting a bot handle their business. They are willing to blow up a guaranteed, funded deal over a 48-hour administrative window. He got back to me the very next day with what I was looking for. Ever the skeptic, I ran his proposal and the invoice through ChatGPT and asked if I'd gotten a reasonable deal. ChatGPT answered, "FINAL VERDICT: This is a fair, clean, and pretty good deal. You could spend weeks calling dealers and possibly not do better. You're not being overcharged. The numbers match reality. And the transparency is excellent." So who was I to argue? I told Grant to go ahead with the purchase and he told me the car could be delivered the next day. I was informed about the ETA of delivery and given a more precise ETA as they had more info (the car was coming from Riverside and I'm in Bonita). Grant had me sign the paperwork and explained what I was signing when questions arose. I gave him the check and then we went out, sat in the SUV and he explained all the new features. He set up the Apple CarPlay and paired my garage door opener so that I no longer had to use the remote. When I no longer had questions about the Palisade he graciously moved my very heavy dog crates to the new car! Above and beyond!
