Walked in, sat down. Was promptly ignored. This place seems to cater to locals with no use for strangers. Left and won't be back.

Great atmosphere, wonderful service. The old racing cars were super cool to look at, as well.

Fat leprechauns and loose women. Free popcorn, darts and s pool table! They even have local beer. The coolest bar in Beech Grove.

A great local pub! Beer selection is good with bucket specials. Best bar in Beech grove.

The potato leek hand pie was delicious and so were the Che Chori veggie Shepard's Pie Empanadas. We of course had to try as many of the Irish specialty drinks including the SNUG Butter Beer with SHANKEYS WHIP, Ginger Beer and Vanilla Cream. We had never tried Shankey's before but immediately picked up a bottle at Total Wine with If you LOVE Ginger Beer definitely try the Irish Mule S9. We also enjoyed the BELFAST COFFEE made with Pangur Potin, Shuv Cold Brew, Simple, Vanilla Cream and Cardamon. Snug Whiskey Fest is coming! May 15-17, 2026. Exclusive Tastings, TWO Brand Expo events, Festival Bottle Releases. Snug Whiskey Fest is Brand Storytelling, One Drop at a Time.

They had the door open, which was letting in the fresh almost-spring air.) Drinks are pretty much all they have at Snug, to be honest. Don't visit thinking you're going to find a meal, because they don't have a lot of food beyond locally made hand pies and empanadas, a grazing board, and something called Snug Nuts. (Which brings to mind certain ... images.) I didn't get any food, just a Road & Coke, which is a whiskey with a Coke and lime, similar to a Cuba libre, although a Cuba uses rum. It was delicious, but a little light on the booze. It was only $5 and change, though, so it's kind of like what do you expect, really. It was a nice drink to sip slowly while I sat in the small, cozy bar. Speaking of bar aesthetics: Snug lives up to its name. It's tiny and dark but inviting. It feels like stepping into a hug. A hug that can also provide you with copious amounts of Irish whiskey, which sounds like the best kind of hug, to me.

The patio had tons of dogs, good shade coverage, and even a corner with chalk and toys for kids. It was a great mix of young families enjoying that and other groups there enjoying their food bar menu. Besides just the space the food is great! We tried the burgers, wings, chicken sandwich, fries and Mac n cheese. We really liked everything but think the double smash burger stood out the most! It was a beautiful weather night so very busy. Our order had a mishap and the restaurant went above and beyond to handle it which was much appreciated! Definitely worth it to come eat or just even come enjoy a drink on their patio. If you like to go out with your dog this is a must!

They would pour it into a plastic cup, and we could bring our drinks over to the event with us. I love this set up. We love a good spirit to go with our noshes. The vibe was upbeat and vibrant on the patio. In contrast, the inside was somewhat dark and moody. The drink menu consisted of lots of local brews, some wine (none were sweet), and mixed drinks. I opted for an Old Fashioned ($10) and my friend had a Lime Margarita ($10). The drinks were the perfect accompaniment to the bits and bites we were enjoying over at the smokehouse.
