Have eaten here years ago with no issues. Went tonight for their "steak night". They had filet & strip available. The waitress said that the filet was 30 dollars for a 14 ounce steak. I asked if I could get a smaller steak to try to save a little money but she said they once have 14 ounce steak available. Since that was a large steak my boyfriend and I decided to share the 14 ounce. When the steak came out it was obviously a lot smaller than 14 ounces. The bill showed it was only an 8 ounce steak for 30 dollars. Left feeling frustrated and still hungry because we only got 4 ounces to eat each & paid 30 dollars on their steak night for only an 8 ounce steak. read more

We were in town for the weekend for a family wedding and found this place on Yelp and thought we would try it out. it's a bar/restaurant nestled in a residential neighborhood. The first thing I noticed was how crowded the parking lot was, and when we went inside, almost every table was taken. The patrons ranged from young to old, couples to singles to families. The menu is extensive, as well as the specials! They offer a variety of burgers, sandwiches, seafood, Italian, salads etc. I ordered 2 lb crab legs w side of baked potato and side salad $27.95 , my husband got the chicken parmigiana with side of pasta and side salad $15.95 . we got zucchini planks for appetizer. One thing I will mention, our waitress and all the others were running their tails off. we promptly got our drinks and refills, however I will mention that the kitchen was maybe short staffed because our food was very slow to come out, as was the tables around us. the food was good, no complaints, and as the night wore on and it got less crowded, I noticed food was coming quicker. Kudos to the wait staff as they did a great job. I would definitely go here again when we're in town and I would recommend it, just be patient during peak/busy times. read more

This used to be one of my favorite places To visit when I lived in uniontown. When I went in two weeks ago, I was there with 2 other people and there were 3 additional people at the bar, 2 other adults in the entire place total. The bartender was completely inattentive, the food was not cooked to what I ordered. The bartender was rude and offensive. She was completely oblivious when customers needed a drink. Food was okay but the fact that the staff says they have outside dining and wear masks during the COVID period is inaccurate. I called to ask about getting a table outside and was told that they have some wooden picnic tables across the parking lot but do not serve to them. Also, every server we saw was wearing their mask as a virtual chin strap. Our waitress even pulled hers down to talk to us. They are clearly paying lip service to any measures to keep patrons safe and just doing the bare minimum to be able to stay open during this time. read more

In town for an extended weekend. Decided to try O'Gillies for dinner. A previous review stated that it's noisy in there and it is. So if you looking for a more intimate setting this isn't the place. It's a big open space with a bar. Our food was good and just as we ordered. My wife tried their flatbread pizza. It came out very hot and she enjoyed it. I ordered the hungover burger, fried egg and bacon on a burger cooked to order. Waitress seemed a bit overwhelmed by the crowd but she was pleasant. When she brought our food to the table she put it down and disappeared. I needed ketchup. Once I got her attention she brought it right over. Pet peeve of mine, I don't like caked on ketchup on the lid. Wipe them off once in awhile. All in all it was good. Would have given five stars if service was just a little faster and more attentive. read more

What a surprise place, we were in PA for robotic tournament, just picked this place randomly. Very friendly, open, seat were you want place, there Steak would stand up to any five star steak house. Try the 14 oz Delmonico. read more

Pub is what you want and that is what you get. Don't let the location or exterior distract you from going here. One knows this is for locals as it is very busy and lots of conversations among locals. Food is very good and Bang shrimp is worth ordering again . My husband enjoys spicy food and he quantified it as moderate heat. Plenty of wait staff and friendly. read more

Stopped here tonight before football game.... Place looks like they may have remodeled it within the last two or three years... Was nice inside... Ate out on their deck area. Menu has a lot of choices..i ordered the general tsos chicken(that was different for an Irish pub!) And wife ordered the engagement chicken. Also got seafood stuffed portabella as appetizer.... Appetizer was okay, but nothing special.... Was dry and would have been better if had a sauce or something. Also had lobster bisque... Was not good... Imitation seafood in it.... Main dishes... The general tsos was actually really good, except that the rice they serve with it was herbal... And didn't go with the sweet and spicy sauce... Should've served with plain white or brown rice for sure! Would've been a lot better! Would've liked to have had more chicken especially that it was$18 for the dish..... Wife liked her engagement chicken.... But didn't love it... Wait staff was new and sucked, but understood they're new. All in all... Good... Would go back... Could improve though! read more

What an awesome find! Local spot in a residential area this little place got packed fast on a Friday later afternoon and it's easy to see why. Fast friendly service and surprisingly great food. The homemade chips were to die for. My husbands mozzarella sticks had to be homemade as was the marinara sauce for dipping. I ordered fish and chips - 3 large pieces - crispy on the outside moist and flaky and the inside. I was too full to consider the bed of fries. My husband ordered a DelMonaco steak that was cooked to perfection. He went for a cup of potato soup in place of a side salad and it was one of the best we've ever had! There is no place like this around! Ogillies is a "Real Deal" Steakhouse with the absolute best steaks in the business. What really sets it apart is that they also have the best Italian food(try the Tuesday Veal Parm it will knock your socks off) They have like 15 or 20 beers on tap(craft and domestic), and it's just an awesome place to be. This place has sit down, collard shirt maybe even a tie/jacket quality food but you can wear shorts and a ball cap in...after all it's a bar! Stopped back for lunch and food...today's special, Pulled Pork sandwich, served on a long bun, I had coleslaw(how I judge restaurants) and hand cut fries. Pulled Pork, perfectly seasoned, needed a homemade BBQ sauce, imoa. Sliced pickles upon request. Big portion, getting used to the large portions and large livin... My wife and I enjoyed dinner here. She had the Engagement Chicken pasta dish and really enjoyed it. I had a half rack of ribs; the ribs were among the best I have ever had, falling-off-the-bone tender, and the barbecue sauce was very good. The only problem we encountered was that the ceiling fans were running at high speed and making the restaurant uncomfortably chilly and the food got cool quickly. There are no windows in the restaurant, so some may fear to enter; also it is somewhat off the beaten path. But other than the fans, this is well worth a visit. read more

This is a little out of the way pub that I have been trying to get to for a long time. Friends recommended. Boy I am so sorry to have taken so long to get there. I had the Spring Salad with chicken and the Raspberry vinaigrette. Omg to die for. My husband had a Delmonico steak with mushrooms, baked potato, not put into microwave. This is the sign of great kitchen, baked potato done in the oven. Soft and hot all the way through. The desert was sweet potato maple cheesecake. Licked the plate clean. Our server, Keasean, was the best. She was knowledgeable about the menu and the specials. Didn't miss a beat. I will remember her!! Great service! I was at O'Gillies this evening for dinner have not been there in months. They made some very great changes to their menu. I guess one of the chefs from the now closed restaurant The Coal Baron now cooks here. The sauce as once as I tasted it took me back to one of the greatest restaurants there will ever be. My husband also ordered the Legitimate Beef sandwich and I got the special, the Rocky Bleier. We enjoyed them both.
