    New place.

What an amazing place! Visiting Perryopolis and my Cuzinz Paul & Tracey suggested O'Gilliea in Uniontown for dinner. Started with Mozzetella stick. Hand cut and breaded in house and a great marinara sauce. The French Onion soup is a must. Not super hot and lots of flavors in the broth. I ordered the Walley filet with wild rice....wow and double wow!! Gina waited on us and she was the next best think next to sliced bread. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is a local fresh cooked family restaurant. It has a very family friendly atmosphere[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]].

Good food, prompt service, and a locals favorite. Lots of options on the menu and I enjoyed my angel hair pasta with chicken and pepperoncinis. It's an open air room with a bar, so not a quiet or romantic atmosphere, but it was still nice. I sat at a high top by myself.

Good o'l O'Gillies! A Uniontown favorite and exceptional restaurant for the area. Filled with local memorabilia from past football teams and local supporting businesses. This place has been around for sometime and their food shows they have the experience in making great meals. The atmosphere here is very small town "pub" type setting but sets itself apart by having a more modern seating area with a brighter ambiance. One odd thing I'd add is the special menus that is on the wall in the main room. It's sideways, like purposefully crooked and designed that way. Not sure if it's supposed to be "hip" and "cool" as it's kind of just out of place. But I digress, it does it job! The food here is absolutely some of my favorite to get for a family dinner or take out. The flank steak app is MUST here you have to try with their tartar sauce. From sandwiches, steaks, fish, pastas and more, this place isn't short of options for everybody. I order the special of the day which was a blackened swordfish over a risotto rice. It was absolutely phenomenal and I wasn't surprised as anything I've had here always is. This place is great for some drinks with friends, a nice date night with a partner or a family dinner of 6. Everyone wins at O'Gillies

Visiting family and decided to try a local restaurant, my dad had eaten here a few years ago and said the burgers were good. Really liked the interior decor and feel - the outside is not very inviting. We were seated right away and our server was very friendly and attentive. Started with the spinach and artichoke dip, it was good and the chips served with it were very good. For our entrees, we had a cheeseburger with fries, a Delmonico steak with mushrooms with side salad and beer fries, and a steak with wedge salad. Unfortunately, my daughter didn't care for her burger. My steak was ordered medium temp but came out medium well, I didn't care for the preparation of the mushrooms and my beer fries were meh. My dad said his steak was ok, but he didn't finish his meal. Would I visit here again? Maybe, but I would definitely try other menu items. Meal set me back $91 before tip, not worth it at all.

My colleague wouldn't let me pay.

The Bangin Shrimp was a unique experience with the crispness of the shrimp and the spiciness of the Sriacha. Service was excellent!

Kind of a cross between a sports bar with TVs and projector screens, as well as dark walls and dark wood dining. It was pretty quiet when we were there - kind of weird being a weekend evening, We started with some appetizers: bruschetta, steak egg rolls, and fried pepperoni. The bruschetta was good - executed properly and textbook. The bread was toasted but a soft bite - just the right amount of tomato and balsamic. The steak egg rolls were also very good - had a kick with cherry peppers inside. Comes with ranch as a dipping sauce. The fried pepperoni was different. The breading struggled to stay on the pepperoni but it was good overall. For my entree I went with the red chicken parm. It comes with pasta (billed as made from Scratch) and red sauce. There were two hamburger-sized chicken pieces, breaded with cheese and a small amount of sauce on top. I felt like the cheese on the top was scarce - should be more. Upon first bite, I was throttled with the flavor of salt, heavy heavy salt. I tried the other piece and the same. I don't mind salt items but this breading reminded me of overuse of the chicken seasoning pack in ramen, and was just over the top. Pasta was ok. For dessert - since I didn't eat much of the entree, I went with the chocolate cake. Holy hell it's massive. The picture doesn't really do it justice. It was immense. Cake was good - though kind of dry at times. Our waitress was nice - attentive and responsive to us throughout the meal. Would try again - I would say really this is closer to a 3 than a 4 but. Whichever.

Our waitress Kendall was wonderful, being very helpful in making our decisions of drinks and dinner. Good GF options (my wife) and a good selection of liquors at the bar (including a small but solid selection of bourbons). The food was very tasty, but I found my pot roast a bit lacking in quantity. My wife's filet was a nice cut and done perfectly, thanks to Kendall's suggestion, and my m-i-l had the crab cakes and found them delicious. The ambience is relaxing and nice, but I do suggest they get better seats - hard wood is not the most comfortable selection at such a nice restaurant. Looking forward to returning, and definitely in the Spring, as the establishment turns open air in addition to the wrap around dining area that faces the river.

When I asked the hotel clerk where she recommended I could get dinner, she pointed to this place. Rebel that I was, I didn't follow her advice and went instead to a middling sushi spot further down the street. On the bitterly cold walk back to the hotel, I decided to stop in. Sitting at the cocktail bar, the place was quite crowded, and unfortunately they were counting down to their trivia night. Even though I was an undefeated Silver Screen Trivial Pursuit champion in my youth, I took a pass on the contest. Instead I had the $11 Espresso Martini, a mix of vodka, coffee liqueur, and cold brew in a can (Photo 6). It was basically what I wanted for a nightcap. As I took my last gulp, the trivia started.
