Well, I believe a picture is worth more than a thousand words. I've been in the hauling business long enough to recognize immature and ungrateful business owners who try to squeeze every penny out of haulers. The drivers work relentlessly--day and night, through summer heat and winter storms--to deliver vehicles without issues. And yet, this is the kind of treatment we receive? Unbelievable. I do not recommend anyone do business with someone who treats their partners this way. Imagine how they'll treat their customers... Edit: I never said I would cancel it, I said I would check with the owner since this same company dispatched a smaller and lighter vehicle for a higher price. Only after accepting it I realized it was dispatched for a lower amount than the other unit. There was no "extortion" whatsoever. I tried to match the Pickup with the price of the SUV. Not to mention the first dispatch the vehicle was not released and could not be picked up. Guess who paid for my empty spot and the diesel spent to go there? Correct nobody. Shame on you guys. So small and arrogant! Edit 2: Stop emailing us, do as you said and move on! You cancelled the vehicles! Not me, you didn't even wait for an answer... Since it was made CLEAR to Ohara Motors that funds would NOT be available until 5-7 days from the date of the contract and that your salesman agreed to, there was no chance that the purchase would be 'consummated' any earlier than that. The transfer of funds to my account occurred on Saturday, 4 days after signing,and I then learned you had already prematurely cancelled the purchase. Note that email is NEVER guaranteed to arrive anyway even if I had discovered it in the premature time frame you sent. Ohara should have also noted the incorrect area code you were calling, 863, is actually a Florida exchange belonging to someone with other name, NOT mine (reverse number lookup) and does NOT reflect our Falmouth residence. That should have especially given you pause to NOT cancel the contract since something was amiss and prompted you to WAIT until you heard from me in the agreed upon time frame. As it was, after I saw the cancellation email on Sun, September 14, that was sent by Ohara on Sat, Sept 13, at approximately 10:57am, I called and left a message with the salesman about the prematureho cancellation. I would have considered the cancellation reasonable at the 7th day from date of contract, which was what Ohara Motors agreed to. Ohara acted hastily, wanting to 'consummate' the sale to win a 'contest', thereby sacrificing a customer, who ended up 'out of the contest'. Ohara ought to be saying that Ohara screwed up and shouldn't have cancelled prior to the conditions OHARA MOTORS agreed to. If I could choose ZERO stars I would. I went to this dealership in 2023 to have brakes checked on my leased 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I knew what the issue was and told them when I arrived. I was given a repair estimate that was much more than average. When I told them I was not going to to have them do the work they charged me a $65.00 fee for "looking" at the vehicle. I swore I would never return. I now have a 2024 Jeep lease (not from O'Hara) The Jeep Wave Program provides 2 free oil changes and tire rotation. I reluctantly called O'Hara again for the oil change because the next closest dealership is over an hour away. This time I was told that they were booked out 3 months...for an oil change..and they are not accepting any new clients at this time. Oh..and there would have been a $65 charge (for a free oil change) I tried to file a complaint through Jeep Corporate and was transferred multiple times, and got so frustrated repeating myself I just hung up! Called today regarding safety recalls for my company vehicle which is leased from enterprise fleet services. (The same enterprise as the rental cars) The woman on on the phone in O'Hara's service department was rude to me for no reason at all. I prefaced the entire conversation with the fact that the vehicle is owned by enterprise fleet. After running VIN and gathering all of my info she informed at the end of the call that I would "need to find another shop" I asked why and she said they don't service enterprise fleet vehicles. However when I called Enterprise directly I was informed that dealerships don't need to be in their network in order to perform recall work! (I had my former Enterprise fleet vehicle serviced there for a tailgate recall) I'm in Oharas system for that, as well as my personal truck. So basically this woman was rude enough to the point that I was compelled to write about it here.. if you look at my reviews you'll see that I only ever leave positive feedback for establishments I enjoy and this interaction was so off putting I broke my positive review steak. read more

I thought you might want to know.... Showed up unannounced with an issue on my GC today. Service manager listened to my issue and ask if I could wait 10 minutes and he would be able to test drive my car. 10 minutes later he came back even with a service bay full of work and took a ride to listen to the issue. Then he passed the car on to one of his mechanics who solved the problem in 20 minutes. In the past I loathed going to this dealership because of the poor service and horrible attitude to customers. The new management team has brought in a fresh customer focused group and now O'hara has a refreshingly positive "can do" attitude that starts at the top. At the end of the 36 month lease I decided to exercise the buyout as agreed in the lease agreement.. Ally instducted me that I needed to do the purchase through the dealership. upon contacting O'Hara I was sent a "Proposal" which added $2000 to the buyout price in the contract. their rational was to do the work involved to transfer title, new registration, plates etc. $2000 !!!??? Now remember I leased the vehicle through them so they already made their profit. Very nice phone conversations with salesman Paul....."sorry nothing to do. Buying a car from O'Hara was the easiest car buying experience I've ever had. I live 100 miles away, and O'Hara had a Kia Sorento that I wanted. I wasn't able to get to the dealership due that day, but they told me if I could send pictures of my trade-in they would make me an offer. They called later with a very fair offer contingent on checking out the car. When I went there and the honored the original offer, and the deal was done quickly and very professionally. I was able to arrange financing through the dealership at a great rate. The Sorento was in perfect condition and I'm very satisfied with it. Scheduled recalls and a diagnostic for another issue. One recall item was back ordered. They found the source of my other issue but the cost of repair was very high. I opted not to do that part and picked up my vehicle. I drove away only to discover my wheel's lug nuts were barely hand tightened and my wheel was off an inch. They came to me and fixed it, then brought it back to make sure nothing was damaged. I informed them since my son had been in the vehicle I needed to leave before I truly lost my temper. I was told they would call me the next day. 3 days later....silence. Wasnt expecting more than a call. Didnt even get that. read more

I don't post many reviews but I decided to after seeing so many negative reviews - and I had a great experience (a couple actually). I have a Jeep on MV so my nearby options are limited. Was reluctant to go hear because of the reviews but to date I have had it in 3 times overall and I have been satisfied each time. The service people are very nice, Last appointment, there was mention of a repair coming down the road, relating to the repair I needed, but they did not try to upsell me, just said sooner or later it will need ------- and I got a small discount coupon for the work I did get done. Interestingly when they quoted me for the repair I DID need, again, because of the reviews, I called a second cape dealership to get a rough estimate for the same job and it came in 20% higher, so I felt very good about the work and the price. read more

We were searching, searching and searching for a fun but solid preloved car for our daughter. After a few near misses with Carvana, we stumbled upon the perfect wheels: a 2017 red racing striped convertible Mini Cooper with less than 10,000 (not a typo) miles for thousands less than the best price we had seen online. One email later, and we had an amazing professional connection with Marissa Crocker. She tracked down answers to all of our questions, arranged for lots of pictures, and coordinated its quick free delivery from Nantucket to Falmouth. It was outfitted with a complete detail and new tires. Marissa was no pressure, super enthusiastic and very kind! We also worked with Tom for our test drive and with Will for our no-hassle finance. I brought my Jeep in for a warranty repair. I was notified that I needed new front brakes and rotors during the repair, so I decided just to pay the exorbitant dealership costs and just fix it. After a full day, I picked my Jeep up after they said it was ready and had been taken for a test drive. On my ride home, I noticed my MPG had dropped by 6MPG and the Jeep was pulling to the right. I got out of the car and an awful burning smell was coming from both wheels. I called the dealership back to request together re-look the brakes. I knew at this point there was something wrong with the calipers, and this problem should have been picked up on by the mechanic. I brought the Jeep back a few days later, and dropped it off in the morning. I received a phone call later in the day, saying the one right caliper needed to be replaced. I figured as much, and asked about the left caliper. The rep said they did not know, and could replace both. Frustrated, I decided to just not go through with the service, because I had an inclination they were not telling the truth. I showed up to the dealership to pick my Jeep up, and the vehicle had not been moved from its spot. They did not even check the calipers on either wheel, and were just going off of my knowledge of the problem. For an $650 front brake job, I would assume that the calipers would have been checked and tested during the initial inspection and repair (especially with new rotors and pads). I wasted a full day for nothing bringing it back, and was put in danger by their service by driving a vehicle that was not fit for the road. Just a note; their service reps were kind and helpful, although they pushed sales. I believe this to be a problem with the mechanics. read more

Can I get away with a zero star rating? Let's see... Where to begin? Made a specifically scheduled appointment to see a sales person about a specific model in the Grand Cherokee range. We arrived on time to find a dilapidated building that looked close to collapse, which didn't bode well, but which was a perfect metaphor for what came next. The chap we were meant to see was not available as he was dealing with another customer, despite having specifically booked a time to see us. We loitered around for 20 minutes, receiving no apologies. We told someone else who we were, what we were there for, and what we had come in to see, only to be told that they did not have any such vehicle in stock, no one could find the keys to the cars that were in stock, and then he disappeared without a trace. Finally, after hanging around for 20 minutes we left, having not seen anyone or any cars. A total farce and worse service even than Premier Cars over in Hyannis, something I didn't think was actually possible. Ah, apparently I have to give this place a one star rating, but it doesn't; deserve it. read more

I had rodent damage done to my truck it would not start. I contacted Premier since this was my closest dealer they told me the closet appointment was September 18. I could not wait over 2 months for the repair. I then contact O'Hara. I had my Ram towed there. The service department contacted about 3 days later and told me about the damage and told me it was goi g to cost $2100 and I approved the work around 3:30pm. The service manager told me this was going to take awhile to be repaired which I was fine with. I then called my insurance company and they asked me to call the dealer and stop the work until the adjuster could look at it. So my wife called about 8 the next morning and we were told the work was almost had completed the work and they could not stop the work however after about half a dozen different reasons why they could not stop working they did. I was then told there was going to extra fees for having to push the truck out of the garage and extra storage fees would be added. The final bill came to $3600. I did leave a review on there site stated this same thing. I rather quickly received a response for the owner. Scolding me and my wife, Saying the problem was not covered under warranty and mouse damage was not covered and how I went past other Dodge dealers to get to O'Hara (which is not true either) I never asked about warranty work nor did we question the amount the final bill came to. This company is not straight forward and will Manipulate what you say to fit there agenda and if that was the owner that responded that way they should be ashamed. I have never in my whole life been treated so poorly. read more

Both the manager and my salesman were honest and straightforward with me through the entire transaction. I have a busy schedule so convenience is critical. They were able to have everything ready for me in advance so my wife and were in and out of finance in 10 minutes. O'hara is a local small business on the Cape and they truly value their customers. But Steve B was great, the negotiation was easy and he was able to get our price that we offered (not list price). Steve set our expectations and provided a timeline of each step. If I could leave negative stars I would. I purchased a brand new 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited from O'Hara. The Jeep started leaking shortly thereafter. I brought it in for service dozens of times. On many occasions service and the service manager Ron blamed the leak on the hard top seals and putting it back on improperly - the leaking happened even with the soft top on, I am no mechanic but that doesn't make sense to me. Other times they said it was just 'a Jeep thing to leak and that sometimes they simply would never find the leak'. I find this tough to accept in a 45$ vehicle. Service and sales are the worst I have experienced. Believe the other negative reviews about this dealership and the fact that there are no recent reviews. Sales must be down and this is why. If you don't care what happens when you drive your car off the O'Hara lot then by all means purchase there. read more

I had a great experience with O'Hara Motors. They had a used Toyota RAV4 even though they're not a Toyota dealership and I purchased it. Absolutely 0 pressure, the manager and salesman and financial person were all wonderful. Really straightforward transaction, and the vehicle was priced well below comparable vehicles. I visited other dealerships the same weekend and I felt stressed out, pressured, and uncomfortable. I did not feel that way at O'Hara Motors. No, they don't have a latte machine but I'm not there for a latte I'm there for a car. With the exception of one young man, everyone there had been there a long time or had lots of experience in the field. They also do not pressure you to use Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep financing. They work with credit unions. When I say no pressure I mean absolutely 0 pressure - no pressure for warranties or services or anything. No tricks or gimmicks. Avoid. Bought a new Ram 1500 Truck on a Saturday. Arrive on Wednesday at designated time to pickup new vehicle and drop off my trade in. Sign paperwork and go through the whole orientation of the vehicle. Setup bluetooth etc. Salesman takes it around to have inspected. Waiting...Waiting some more. Finally comes out and says there's a problem. Can't sell the vehicle because of a recall that needs addressing and have no clue on how to fix. Problem affects all "Northeast" Ram Truck quad cabs. They become aware of this after the vehicles sold and has my plates on it?After they've now transferred registrations from my trade? Really? How about a non Northeast Ram truck? Get one from Idaho or wherever. They give me a used loaner truck that was for sale on the lot for the day to use while they figure things out.Get a call next day asking if the color and options in the truck I purchase were important. I tell them I want same truck. Call me that evening and say nothing available need to cancel the deal. This isn't a deal...it's done. I suggest they come up with another vehicle in lieu of what I bought. No Go. Come in next morning to pickup my car that was my trade. Guy just hands me my keys and say sorry bout it. Ask for all my paperwork that I left in the new truck. They claim they shredded it to prevent any issues. You shredded MY paperwork? They produce a couple of pages of incorrect paperwork that did not represent the final transaction. General Manager continued to hide in his office. I reiterated the lack of professionalism to the salesman. They breached their contract and couldn't even mumble their way out of their office to show an ounce of professionalism. Easy solution? Sorry about this issue, we'll get the repair taken care asap but might take a while.We'll honor the contract when the vehicles fixed. I unfortunately had a terrible awful experience with this business. I found a vehicle online(2006 GMC envoy xl for $13,995 that i was ready to purchase, as long i i drove it, and it was in good condition etc and was hoping to talk them down closer to 13,000.... i spoke to a sales manager, and told him i would be there in the next couple of days to look at the Envoy. . I drove 100 MILES!!! to come look at this Vehicle. At no point did anyone i spoke with over the phone alert me to the fact that there was serious work that needed to go into the vehicle before it could be purchased including front end work, 4 wheel drive issues, rear entertainment unit was advertised, but not in working order . and Im not a mechanic, so Im not even sure those were ALL of the issues. the sales person on staff had NO CLUE about the vehicle, was having a hard time answering any questions i had regarding the vehicle. he stated several times, with their used vehicles "we don't fix anything until someone shows interest and signs a purchase agreement" and then they will fix all of the buyers concerns at that point. so if didn't pick up on the fact that the ball joints and other front end parts needed to be replaced, would they have fixed them? I don't think so, only because i mentioned them as a concern , were they willing to fix them. I would not trust this business to buy a car from. read more
