Eventually, Domiano Eye Care submitted this incorrect co-pay charge to a collection agency because I correctly refused to pay this incorrect charge. In the three years since this horrible visit, I have seen other eye care specialists and have never been charged a co-pay for the exact same diabetic eye care exam with the exact same health insurance.

Lisa, the general manager, was so knowledgable and answered all of my questions that I decided to make the trip to Scranton even though Visionworks has a location in Wilkes-Barre, which is closer. When I arrived Lisa took such special care of me even to the point of finding me such stylish frames that I was looking for. I must also compliment her staff since we asked them their opinion on what frames would look best. All in all, I had a wonderful experience with Lisa and her team. A physical number to the store and not the automated line "experiencing a high volume of calls" would have solved this 15 minutes ago for me, and probably a lot of other callers too.

Not the slightest hint of possible future charges. Was told I owed a specific amount and the transaction was done. Now months later I'm told I owe an additional $150. Absolutely ridiculous. And to make matters worse, Northeastern Eye Institute absolutely refuses to discuss with me. I've been given the run around and ignored. Was told on the phone I'd get call backs. No calls. Tried to message via facebook and their website. No surprise no contact there either. My family and I had been going there for years, but we will not be returning and definitely not recommending.
