Excellent food and amazing service. The egg rolls are awesome and I'll definitely get them again. Has the perfect Celtic atmosphere! Slightly pricey but definitely worth it.

Really cute Irish pub in the middle of downtown Lancaster. The fish was good but could have had a little more flavor. The chips were really overcooked. The bartender acted a little annoyed when we walked in and asked to be seated at the bar. However, she made fantastic drinks.

I am so glad we stopped in during our trip to Hocking Hills for a long weekend (we stayed in Lancaster). This is a local gem! So much so that we ate dinner here both nights. Both evenings we sat at the bar and had outstanding service from the owner (think Judy was her name). Drinks were great, I had an espresso martini one evening and it was one of best I've had. My boyfriend loved the beer selection. Wine was also good, a go-to for me. We had the bangers and mash with a salad the first night and loved it. Second night we split a burger, tried Irish nachos- sides were minty mashed peas and the cabbage and potato mix (forget proper name)- both were fabulous! Both evenings we splurged and split cheesecake which is house made. Chai then peach cobbler flavor. Outstanding. I will miss this place now we're back home. Highly recommend a stop in. Service was friendly and fast. Atmosphere was cozy. Thank you for your hospitality!!

Stopped here on a Friday night and got seated right away. We ordered a draught beer and it was flat, but the bartender supplemented it with a bottled beer while we waited. We started with the egg rolls. They were crunchy on the outside! The sauces were delicious. The jam sauce was a little spicy but had good flavor. I would have liked a little more cream cheese. I ordered the fish and chips which was recommended by the bartender. The fish seemed a little over cooked but the breading was crispy! The breading could have used a little seasoning as it tasted a little bland. The fries were hot and crispy.

Have always passed by this place, but up until this point, had never stopped. It was dinner rush on a Friday night, but we were able to be seated at the bar. It's rather small inside, I was surprised by this, but it is an old building. We order a drink, but the draft had kicked. When it was changed and our beer was out, it was flat. We were given a bottle while the issue was resolved and then a fresh draft as soon as it was corrected. We were charged for none of it due to the inconvenience. The egg rolls were great. Crispy on the outside and a good mix of cabbage and corned beef on the inside, however, the sauces stole the show. The jam had a great little kick and a nice vinegar twang that cut through the heavy flavors of the cabbage and beef. I'd buy this sauce in bulk if it was offered. I had a side salad which was very large and had a good amount of toppings. The fish and chips were a bit disappointing after the egg Rolls. The fish was pretty oily and a bit over done. Overall, this was a good experience, with the highlight being the appetizer.

This place was a great spot to come to while in Lancaster! Our server was so friendly and hospitable. Our food came out fast and was delicious! The William Wallace was a big, yummy sandwich packed with meat and delicious toppings! The side of colcannon was a great add! We also got the Rock of Cashel burger with a side salad. That was also super tasty! Their burger sauce was fantastic! The burger was $11 and the William Wallace Sandwich was $14, which is pretty fair pricing in my opinion! I would definitely come back here for some good food and great service!!

We have driven by several times and decided to stop. I'm not sure if I have much to add that others haven't already said. We were impressed with the drink menu. I chose a cherry sour that was delightful! For dinner, I played it safe and had the fish sandwich, fries and slaw, The slaw was sweet, tangy, and tasty. Definitely not a GFS quality. Way better! The sandwich was very good. A big piece of fish with a nice crispy batter. The sauce was decent, and the cheese was understated, but paired well with the toppings. The fries were good. A garden variety frozen fry. I asked for vinegar and was brought a mellow malt that was delicious. All in all, the slaw and sandwich were good. A solid four stars. The fries were a disappointment from a Gaelic pub. I expected a house made chip, our crisp, not a frozen fry. Four stars for the food. Subtract one for the fries. But then add it back for the beautiful decor, great service, and great sour beer.

We have just recently visited several towns in the West of Ireland (Galway, Westport, Donegal). This pub is appropriate, from the wood work to the floors. We were excited to see Carlsberg Beer on the menu, as it is in the Eire. Fish n chips and Bangers n mash were both great. Get them with the mushy-peas! 10/10 will come back next time when we are in Lancaster!

Other than some new decor (which in my opinion is tacky), and a few new items added to the menu, the other noticeable change appears to be the slow service coming from the kitchen and inconsistency of portion size. This past Friday we arrived at approximately 5:15, the restaurant was fairly busy with the bar nearly full and most tables occupied. The server was timely in taking our drink order while we reviewed the menu. We placed our order, 2 fish sandwiches and fries, then waited 40 MINUTES for our food to arrive. I'd like to say it was worth the wait, but the fish was cool and the few fries we received were cooler. The most disappointing part was that never once did we see a Manager or have one touching tables to check on guest, or apologize about wait times. All the guest adjacent to us were complaining about the wait. Our server was apologetic and understanding about our displeasure. Perhaps there is a good reason that there wasn't a Manager on duty, if there was one on duty, it's inexcusable that they weren't at all visible and engaged. As mentioned, since the temporary closure and reboot, the inconsistency in portion size and slow ticket times, along with the decor we've not seen much improvement.

This place had very clean carpet flooring, plus restrooms were very clean as well. This place had a family feel to it, almost like home. The service was great, even had a server that had a trainee that was training at our table. This is an example of a place that cares about a good curriculum of hands on training. Very good customer service. Even had the manager come check in on us and took our to go order for us. So service an A+. Food was great, burger that I ordered came just how I like, was a plain burger. No fanciness to it, no steak knife jammed in the middle, no 6" tall mound, just a plain, good ol' fashion backyard burger. Yum! Wings were cooked great, seasoned with a hot nashville rub. Chicken tenders were plump, and hearty for something so simple off the menu. My son enjoyed them. The fish n chips came out with 2 huge filets of battered fish. My wife had to take the rest home. All in all, not a bad spot to stop and enjoy good food. Not loud at all like most bar n grills. Place almost had an 80's family feel to it. I think the carpeted floors played a part in that nostalgic feel for me. I need to bring my folks here next time they are in town. Will definitely be returning soon.
