This place sells awesome burgers/sandwiches!! Not to mention their colcannon is very rich and very well seasoned!! I would highly recommend this place to anyone willing to try something slightly different but still amazing and tasty! We have been to O'Huids about three times. The first time our food was cold but they were also a new restaurant so maybe they weren't quite up to speed yet. We have since gone back and the food was better. Typical pub food like fish and chips with some different things like lamb. The nachos are the best. The atmosphere is great and very authentic. It reminds me of some of the pubs my husband and I have been to in Scotland when my husband worked there for many years. The craft beers are delicious and they have a nice outdoor area where you can sit and enjoy the evening. I would definitely take friends here who are visiting from out of town for a nice unique experience. read more

I was in Lancaster on business and saw this pub as I drove by one afternoon. The name intrigued me, so I went there for dinner. Great friendly service, good selection of drinks on tap (Rhinegeist Bubbles - fun to see that outside Cincinnati!) and interesting and delicious food. I had the Black Berry Mistress ( I think it was called) that was their take on a burger - Scottish sausage with a blackberry reduction on a nice brioche bun - and some pleasant conversation with another patron at the bar as well as with one of the owners. Give this place a try - it's a warm, comfortable atmosphere with great drinks and food that's "out of the common way." You won't be disappointed. read more

Last night we walked in and it was busy. The bartender said to seat yourself. We finally found seats and waited for someone to take our drink ordered. Several waitresses walked by, looked at us, but never came over. Neither did the bartender. We waited 15 minutes and put our coats on and left. Very disappointed and won't be back. read more

SO Delicious!! Great atmosphere and music! We had the Cottage Pie, the Blackberry Mistress sandwich, colcanon potatoes and minty mushy peas. A coworker and where in town for the week on a job and went to some of the other top rated places in town. This place by far was the best meal we had all week. By talking to the owner we where informed they had only been open for 2 months. All food is homemade even the dressings and sauces. The menu is small but what we had was spot on. I've read some of the reviews on here and it sounds like they where there when they just opened and where trying to get things in order. Very Irish pub feel and the service was great. I live 3 hours away and I will make the trip to revisit. read more

We cannot recommend O'Huids highly enough. Friendly staff, wonderful (and original) food, and the best atmosphere in Lancaster. The Irish Nachos are beyond amazing, and even the simple staples such as Fish and Chips are top notch. Everything here is made fresh and the menu displays creativity and passion for what they do. For those of you who care, the craft beer selection is very good as well. It is a good mix of "Drink Local" Ohio breweries and some further reaching, well known, labels. We are looking forward to many years of success from O'Huids and they have been an amazing addition to our community. read more

The atmosphere is beautiful! That's as far as it goes for me. Would come for a brew because it is within walking but that's it. The cocktails were extremely weak. The batter on the fish and chips was gummy rather than crispy. The "chips" are frozen. Like I said cool place to hang with your homeboys. The Lamb pops had tons of fat and small amount of edible meat. If you are going to have a small menu you need to nail the food. They missed bad. Good luck trying to pay the bill. The system they use is so disorganized. Hope to see them succeed and hope they fix it. But for now don't waste your time or money. read more

First off, the waitress was amazing! I think her name was Celeste? Very warm & welcoming, very attentive, just excellent service! As for the food, I had the Blackberry Mistress platter and my daughter had the Loch Ness Monster platter. We both we very pleased with our meals, portions were more than enough to satisfy. It did take a little longer than expected to have the food served but I credit that to OSU game on at the time! Lol! Great place! I'll definitely be back! read more

bar - my husband and a good friend of ours stopped by tonight for a a few drinks and some dinner. our friend got there before us and had just been served at the bar. came to the table saying the bartender's recommended beer after listening to what they like were spot on. sit down at a table and than my husband goes up to peruse the scotch selections. hard to believe but they had some he has not tried. he came back praising the bartender also (yes.....i was the dd tonight). service (the real reason for.the 4 star rating)- we had Rachel as our server tonight. she was very good and so patient with my charges (lol). One time I had to ask for water a 2nd time (gasp.....in a.pub....on a Friday night at 7 PM). Honestly she was great, more attentive than she needed to be for non-drinker in the crowd that was there. food - the eire eggrolls were the best per my husband with th horseradish sauce but our friend liked it best witn the other (think it may be a jalapeno jelly) . got the charcuterie platter and gyros. very good selection for the meat and cheese platter. gyros were good. read more

We absolutely loved this place!! From the beautiful atmosphere, the great drink selection, to the wonderful service, this place was amazing. The best, and most surprising part was the food. We had the seafood appetizer and thought the fish and chips were delicious. For our mains we had the corned beef sandwich, and cottage pie. Wow!! Both were to die for. So so good. Can not wait to go back! Thanks for bringing such a wonderful Irish pub right downtown for us to enjoy. read more
