We found this neighborhood bar when looking for a place to catch the Clemson vs Carolina football game. We were out of town visiting a friend in Garden City/Murrells Inlet and he said he had heard some really good things about this Dive bar. And we all like Dive bars so we were very willing to entertain it. It was easy to tell at first glance that there were very few people inside due to the fact that there were only a couple of cars parked outside. It did in fact look like a dive bar in its location and signage, etc, but we went in anyway. We were immediately welcomed by friendly smiling faces of the owner, bartender, and patrons as we walked inside. We inquired about our game and were quickly informed that it was on the big projector screen in the back room. It was also on one of the four TVs in the bar area, but there was no seating available. We went to the back room, but it was dark and absolutely no one else was back there. We went back up front and were quickly told by several people that we could have their seats as they would be leaving shortly to go to the Citadel vs Coastal game. They had a large chalk board with a plethora of craft beers, but I didn't get the sense that they were used to selling them very often. They were mainly bottled beers, but they had to be put them on ice as we ordered. The bartender did not seem very knowledgeable about them, and they ran out of several of the options while we were there. I ordered Smithwicks and Guiness on tap so I was fine. We really enjoyed our time there and got to know some of the locals who were very nice. The owner takes this business seriously and has done a good job in creating a local neighborhood bar. They also have a pretty varied menu, with the Irish pub food options highlighted. My biggest drawback was that everyone was smoking inside. Several were smoking cigars, but then even they switched to cigarettes too. They have these neat filter fans and they seemed to work pretty well, in addition to the front door being open for fresh air. With so many no smoking ordinances these days, I guess this gives customers another option. I wish the establishment much success.

Walked in and walked out. Smoking allowed inside the restaurant. Should be a sign that smoking is allowed. To each their own.

Not what we expected. It is a neighborhood bar. There was a Loy of smokers and the place was dingy

I often pass on a Reuben because I hate when the beef is tough, but this sandwich was like butter!

I love a good Irish pub and this is ON THE WATER so I knew this was going to be good. We got here…read moreon a Friday evening about 6:30 and it wasn't packed yet. We noticed there was live music outside which I wasn't thrilled about but I wanted to sit by the ocean. We were seated very quickly and our sweet waitress immediately went to get our drinks. My husband and I opted to share the fish and chips and I got a cup of clam chowder and he got a bowl. I also got a blackberry bourbon bramble. The good...the mixed drink was excellent! The fish on the fish and chips was seriously one of the best things we had this trip. The not so good...the fries were soggy. The clam chowder was room temperature and SALTY. The waitress did warm it up when asked but I always hate sending stuff back to the kitchen but it seemed much better when it came back. The live music started at 7pm and let me tell you...that musician was so talented! It wasn't too loud and it was fun to listen to. Overall...The drinks and fish were GREAT. The view was ABSOLUTELY SPECTACULAR. The other things that I found MEH, could have just been an off night. Our waitress was lovely and the prices were decent. I would try this place again.

I ordered a full size Caesar salad. When it arrived, I had to ask if this was a side salad or my meal. It was smaller than the other two side salads. Disappointed.
