The best food in Myrtle beach [[HIGHLIGHT]]the atmosphere and service was incredible.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I recommend the fish and chips

I have been here so much and I used to enjoy it. This time it cost$10.00 to park and no one was in the parking lot , I guess this is why locals don't come down . [[HIGHLIGHT]]Then we get there and 3 people are in there .[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We decided to play darts and something happened and I was fixing the game and some guy comes in basically telling me what to do and how to do it and touching our board , I told him politely we got it and he still needed to touch it and change it while we were in the middle of the game . I don't know who he was but don't touch other people's game . I didn't say anything and then we decided to just sit at the bar . They were playing musical Bingo what fun . [[HIGHLIGHT]]We decided not to play since they were in the middle of it . We have played there before it's fun.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]we were at the bar and a cockroach comes running down the bar and I moved just in time. I told the bartender but he just said put a bad review on yelp .[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Over all I used to love this place but it has gone way down and to pay $10.00 to an attendant for parking and no one is even there is ridiculous. Beers were $6.00 . And don't forget the cockroach for the win. I have mixed feelings .. because it could be a great . Maybe get an exterminator. read more

Joe the Barman was fantastic!!!! Best vibe BEST food in Myrtle Beach!!!! Real fresh fish- great Irish food and best drinks I've had since visiting. This is a true hidden Gem! Can't say enough how great this place is and I'm from Kansas City. read more

It's a Bar Based on reviews we decided to stop in for a drink. Beer selection very limited. They offer 1 tap with Guinnes and another with an imported cider. Bud light or Michelob Ultra seemed to top off the list as the bar tender offerred nothing else. If you are interested in Irish whiskey the seletion looked good. We did not try food. Sanitation in the bar area was pretty sketchy and bartender never washed his hands althought he did many tasks that should require it. Went at 12:30 am as we were checking out all the different spots to celebrate finishing my masters degree. Man at the front told us they are closed despite everything saying 2am for close. He was really rude. As a local to Myrtle I have no intention of checking it out again based on his demeanor. Recommend trying out the other bars for a better experience with service and southern hospitality. read more

If you are in the area stop in Jimmy the bar owner is very nice. Ordered the Irish egg rolls they are homemade and are very good we also ordered the shepherds skins they are potato skins with a homemade shepherds pie filling. Must get very good!!! The best customer service at a tourist location EVER!!! We hoped to watch the ATL UTD game and after two other stops this pub was the only spot who could get it. They have the Direct TV MLS package (?). The most friendly staff, accommodating and genuinely caring. They made sure my kiddos were entertained (by darts and chalk) and kept our drinks full. We went & ate nothing but appetizers & drank some of their specialty drinks, & it's a win! It's a great place if you're into smaller bars where you can people watch but not be quite in the middle of a crowd. I imagine it does get full though in the middle of summer (tourist season). They do have a big TV that shows live footage of a street corner in Dublin, Ireland (I believe) so super cool! read more

It's a classic Irish Pup atmosphere. The Corn Beef sandwich was top notch, Shepard Pie was good. Bartender/Waitperson was prompt, polite, and helpful with menu selections. Can't beat a cold Guinness on a warm summer night. Will make this a must stop each time we visit Myrtle Beach. read more

The bouncer when we walked in looked at my boyfriend and said "this is the south, we dont give a f about masks here." None of the staff inside including the servers and bartenders wore masks either. MOLDY sour cream! food was just so so. Fish was rubber like frozen. Great fries! We had take out call them to say the sour cream was moldy and said next we come in the would give us free potatoes but wouldn't take them off our bill. So gross and could make you very sick. visited on cool evening, November 27, 2023. Shepherds Pie was excellent with the extra cheese and sauce on the side. Was recommended a touch of HP sauce which was also great with the Guinnes. I've sampled sheperd pie at many places and unfairly compare to my authenic shepherd pie. The Ole Irish menu is good and the pie was great. Highly recommend it. We,stopped in here during the Carolina country music festival. Its a nice little Irish pub with an inside and outside bar. We did not order any food so I can't speak about that. They had cold beer and drinks and a good atmosphere. I found it a bit pricy with 3 vodka and cranberry costing me $23. read more

Stopped in here not really sure what we wanted for dinner. The owner Jimmy, was behind the bar. Very friendly. We ended up eating several of the appetizers. The shepherds skins were very good. Large packed potatoes cut in half topped with shepherds pie. We also had the egg-rolls with corn-beef. We enjoyed it enough that we went back the next day. Wow, of sure if I was in the same place as some of these reviews. My wife an I stopped by on Sunday for dinner. The food was good but my wife couldn't wait to leave. This is a guys hangout for sure. The bartender was doing shots and hitting on 2 women that were seated at the end of the bar. The entire place, which included about 10 people, were throwing the "F" bomb out like water. Granted we are in a bar so we take it in stride, but when the bartender starts talking about having sex with one of the girls, ow we have gone to far. NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY. Oh ya, one more thing. This is an Irish bar and they don't have Guinness on tap. It's in a can. read more

I came into town from a business trip ahead of my family and went out on the town with my wife's knowledge. I went to the Tin Roof. Great place. Great Band. Great experience. As the Tin Roof was closing a guy next to me said the Irish bar was open till two. It's a couple blocks away so I went there. I like Irish pubs. One of my family names is McMinn. About 1:50 the bouncer started yelling that it was past last call and we needed to leave. I had not been given my check yet. He kept yelling behind me and I ask why are you yelling. It's not closing time yet and I haven't got my check yet? The server brought my check and while he stood over my shoulder I still left her a $20 tip. I left the bar before the posted closing time but the bouncer put his hands on me and pushed me. as I hesitated because there was a girl laying at the bottom of the exit steps and I was afraid I would step on her. I have never left a negative review till now. This was a bad experience for no logical reason. I will never be back. read more

It's strange to see good reviews for this place; formally the Parrot Pub. I was there in early May; I always go for it was the first bar I visited in Myrtle beach many years ago. The owner would not stop antagonizing me. My friend and I had one drink and left. He virtually was trying to pick a fight with us. NO VAPE he kept saying, just for having the e cigarette on the bar. The barmaid, his supposed girlfriend, was actually nice and apologetic for his drunken stupidity. I almost lost my temper and hit this moron, but I didn't want to go to jail. Stopped here before we left the boardwalk for a quick pint. This looks like a traditional Irish pub in a great location. We ordered a beer and the bartender was awesome. She is from Ireland so we got to talking about where she was from and where my family was from. She served us our drinks and made small talk with us while we visited. She was very friendly and probably would have convinced us to stay if we did not have dinner reservations elsewhere. Next time I am in town I will stop by again. read more

The bar was filled with grizzly regulars. They had a band when we came, so we couldn't play darts. I ordered a couple of drinks for me and my wife. The bartender took the order. She then asked the regulars if they needed a refill, gave them there beers to them first. Then she made our cocktails. Not great service. Bar is small and if crowded, service stinks. read more
