Curtis had the whole wedding planned out from day one and all we had to do was tell him what we did and didn't want to do. On the actual day, all we had to do was enjoy and pose for pictures, him and his team handled everything else. And on top of all that, he was a pleasure to work with.

Five or so calls later and I got to talking with Scott at Naked Guitar Repair. He came off as a good dude who was really comfortable with guitars and confident in his work, so even though I had found a cheaper option, I drove over to Madbury to meet Scott. His shop is located in the same lot as a landscaping business and is entered through the side door under the green awning along the right-hand side of the building. The space is refreshingly unfinished, with tools lining the perimeter workbench spaces and guitars in various states of build hanging along the walls. The real look of the place was the first of a few indications that I had chosen the right repair shop for my old Yamaha. Scott looked up from his work and received me warmly into his workshop. He deftly inspected the guitar, played a Spanish riff to check its original condition, and concluded that it was in great shape, definitely worth cleaning up. Throughout the "interview" he was really friendly and shared a great deal of information about his history with guitars; during this conversation I also came to learn that Scott builds electric guitars from scratch under the name Stonewall Instruments in this same space (another indication that my Yamaha was in good hands). He was even willing to work with me on the price of the work. I picked up the guitar a few days later, and, needless to say, it sparkled and sang. I'll try to include a photo of it with this post, but you should just take my word for it -- the guitar glows like it was touched by a experienced perfectionist and is matched by the sweetest tone, new strings tight and sharp. Can't be more happy with the "upgrade" Scott was able to bring out of her. Not only do I recommend Naked Guitar Repair to anyone looking for a honest conversation about a guitar in need, but I'm personally committed to returning to the business when Scott has his annual Stonewall Instruments open house. Hope this helps. Be well!

These courses were the toughest in the school and caused great stress to a student who had typically done very well in both math and science throughout her school years. Solomon tutored Chloe through the basics of both courses with both a deep understanding of these two subjects as well as his ability to communicate concepts clearly. This was especially important for Physics as it had become obvious to all of us that Chloe's teacher possessed very poor teaching and communication skills. Thus Solomon had to function as Chloe's actual Physics TEACHER as well as her tutor. His demeanor was hugely valuable too as his fine sense of humor and personally-supportive nature transformed the atmosphere of the process into one that was positive and confidence-building. This greatly alleviated much of Chloe's coursework anxiety. In the end, the results spoke for themselves: Chloe's initial C-range grades rose to A-minuses in both courses within one semester, undoubtedly contributing to her eventual college acceptance by Columbia and five other top schools, plus waitlists at Harvard, Yale and Swarthmore. Without Solomon's involvement, I am certain such happy outcomes would not have occurred.

He was personable and read the crowd well, playing music that got everyone dancing. We had a ton of fun with the lip syncing contest, except it ended up going on a bit too long because people kept signing up. I think my suggestion is to have a cut off for when people can sign up, that way it doesn't cut too much into the dancing time. Overall though we absolutely loved Metro Mass Entertainment and would highly recommend their services! We will be hiring them again for other events in the future. Thanks for making our event a real party to remember!

Steve Rocks! And I…read morecould end this review with that, and I would be 100% true and correct! But I'll digress Let me start here. Metro Mass Entertainment has a BBB rating of A+ We found Steve via the internet, google him and you will too. Once we looked at some other reviews we decided to have him be our DJ. One of the biggest reasons is that he encourages product purchases. such as plastic leis and sunglasses and other 'give away's while he's DJ'ing. Something my wife really liked, we may be having a sit down dinner but we are far from having a stuffy formal event. Steve sent us a packet of paperwork, things like first song, daddy/daughter mother/son, guarder removal, bouquet toss, and other events over the night just so that we start thinking about these things now and when we have a meeting we won't be uh I have no clue. Also what songs will be played at dinner, special request and everything like that. He also included list for each even full of popular songs, like girls just wanna have fun for the bouquet toss and things like that. We set up an appointment about a month before our wedding to sit down and go over everything. He came to our house, which made things very convenient. He basically went over the paperwork he sent us and made sure to get all the special request in and special dances, like the longest couple dance, which in our case the longest 2 couples no longer danced, (married 64 & 65 years) but still got acknowledged. The night of the wedding, during the cocktail hour I met with Steve and went over everything one more time, more for me than him, I had full confidence with him. Once the guest all sat down at their tables for the introduction Steve got them pumped up for the introductions. I don't know what he said but they were LOUD with cheering and clapping and everything. He came into the room the bridal party was stashed, lined us up in order. and we headed out as he introduced the couples. The best part is our ring bearers were 3 and 5, he got them to be willing to run out in front of a lot of cheering loud people that's normally a situation that the boys would freeze at. Didn't hurt that I kept telling them to be like football players being introduced for the starting lineups. During the night Steve played everything, things we requested things the guest requested. All types of music, even waited till the older family went to bed to play rap and techno music. Played BEP for the Ring Bearers when they were jumping around on the floor. Everything went so smoothly. The only complaints were my uncle complained that there was too much country, but my wife and I like country, and truthfully there wasn't that much anyway. Also my best man wanted to two step with his date (Texans *roll eyes*) and he wasn't getting any music to two step to, so I went up to Steve and tried to push up my Best Man's request. When a song came on that the few on the dance floor left, my BM and his GF took the entire dance floor putting on a two stepping clinic. Which was really fun to watch. So like I said at the start, Steve Rocks! He even had 3 or 4 people ask him how to get in touch with him for their own upcoming events. Something I highly recommend everyone does.
