All set up for physical distancing!

Dropped by for in-person order & pickup, but would've definitely been quicker to call in ahead! The place is well set up for physical distancing (although felt a little dark), with floor markings 2m apart leading up to the cash register. While we waited ~5min for our orders, several pickup customers and delivery personnel came in. My fresh taro smoothie (with 50% sugar) was excellent. Can't speak to the food though -- will have to try that another time. Note: AmEx does not work, even if the cashier thinks they accept it...

Mango smoothie with lychee jelly, pearls, and mango pudding. So refreshing!

Yummy neighborhood bubble tea place with tons of options! They have lots of cool drinks and toppings. There's also food and bubble waffles. I would say it's more of a takeout place, although there are places to sit and eat if you're so inclined. I know a previous reviewer wrote about the place being really humid, but when I went in, the AC was on and it was nice and cool. I ordered a mango slush with half pearls, half lychee jelly, and mango pudding. The drink was delicious and refreshing and I'd definitely reorder it. They also have stamp cards, where you get a free drink after ten drinks. Another plus is that this place is cheaper than other places I've been to and the woman working there was really nice. All in all, I wouldn't hesitate to go back!

Busy during after school rush but quiet for the most part. Kid friendly with a couple high chairs and a booster. Service is friendly. Lots of bubble tea options. The blue raspberry smoothie tastes just like a blue feeezie. Chicken ramen is filling. The bubble waffle with Oreo crumbs was warm and delicious. Would stop by if in area.

We got one of those and a Durian Smoothie. I think we somehow missed the Greentea part of this drink cuz when we got it, hubby and I were both surprised at how green the drink was. It's only now that I look back at the photo I took of the menu that I realize the word Greentea was in the name of the drink so...not so surprising anymore that our drink was green. I honestly didn't taste much Greentea in it though. Mostly I tasted KitKat and Brown Sugar. Didn't taste any kind of Cheesecake flavor in it. It wasn't a bad drink but I think I prefer the fruity drinks that we've had from this place in the past. I think I'd have also preferred this drink to be slightly less sweet than it was. We brought our drinks home and had them while watching a movie. Hubby sat further back in the room while our daughter and I sat in the front of the room, but I could still smell the Durian smoothie from where we were sitting!

It's been there for a while so starting to look a bit dated. Doing good business on a Saturday night, although we didn't have to wait for a table. We were not super hungry so just went for drinks and appetizers. They have a pretty sizable sweet drinks menu, with a lot of choices for toppings. I got the melon slush with half sugar. It was plenty sweet, and has the nice honeydew melon taste. For appetizers, we got the Taiwanese style chicken nuggets, and a mixed plate of braised meat and proteins. The chicken nuggets taste as expected, got good flavor, and was tender and not dry. For the braised plate, we got sliced pig ear, fish cake and sliced beef shank. I liked the flavors, and the beef shank was tender. Overall two drinks with two appetizer was like $43 before tips, so not expensive. Solid place to go for some inexpensive Taiwanese food and sweet drinks.

They offer so many different dishes (hot pot bowls, stir fry noodles, hot and cold appetizers, etc.) plus an extensive drink selection. One of my guilty pleasure meals from here is their popcorn chicken, intestine soup noodle, and their Hokkaido milk tea. The popcorn chicken is always made fresh and food portions are generous at the price point offered. There's a reason why Bubble World still maintains a number of locations throughout the Lower Mainland and business is steady. Service is prompt and decent too.

Menu is pretty extensive and there are many different sizes. Smaller rice bowls at cheaper prices were available as well as more expensive meal sets. Even cheaper meals combos are available for students. Once we ordered food, it took a pretty long time to come (at least half an hour), considering that there were only 3 total customers in the restaurant. However the food was very delicious when it did come. The sole waitress was pretty much on her phone at another table the entire time apart from serving the food. The food is very good though. I would definitely return again just for the fried chicken alone. The pork chop dish that we ordered was also delicious.

The walls are decorated with pictures from Europe and the teacups are very "British." Besides scone and tea, you can get regular food here as well such as fries, salt & pepper chicken, and radish cake to name just a few. You can also get cold drinks like juice & bubble tea, and bubble tea drinks here too. So...not your typical British style Afternoon Tea joint. Kind of half restaurant, half tea place. My friend had a pot of Leisure Fresh Fruit tea and a scone. We'd already had lunch a bit earlier and while my friend had room for a scone, I had zero room in my stomach for any food so I just had a pot of Longan Red Date tea. It was a cold day so a pot of hot tea really hit the spot. I thought it a bit pricy at first, but when the tea came, I saw that the teabags were Fortnum & Mason teabags. That is a very a prestigious company from all the way over in England. When I realized we were drinking Fortnum & Mason tea, all of a sudden $10.25 didn't seem so extravagant any more. My friend said her scone seemed like more of a biscuit than a scone. It came with butter and jam. I think she wished there had been some clotted cream to go with it. I can't say too much about the food as I only had one pot of tea but I was impressed that it was Fortnum & Mason tea, and I very much enjoyed the flavor of the Longan & Red Dates in my tea.
