The owner was there helping us, like immediately. He helped me understand how they fit the boys feet and how to size them. They had a HUGE selection of youth and junior hockey skates...and the prices were so much better than Facebook market place. The owner was personable and kind and helpful...plus his store has a zillion sports items. I don't know what you're in to...but he has it. So nice to be treated with kindness and with someone knowledgeable and meet a cool small business owner. Go there! Take your family there. Take your teams there. Someone from our group got nervous on her paddle board with it being her first time, and one of their staff quickly brought her a kayak. They reassured her that everything was ok, and even got her caught up to our group. Our tour guide was also very informed of the area and gave us great information about the wild life. My sisters and I went in together to get a group windsurfing lesson for the dudes in our life. For just $110 each our group of 4 boys were able to spend a little over 3 hours with private instruction from a pair of genuinely just super cool people. Not to mention talented. They seriously made it look so easy. Every single one of them was able to get up on the board and actually sail! I was so impressed by how much they were able to learn so quickly. For 4 people they had 2 boards that they took turns on. Which meant each of them had plenty of time for practice and fun. They also got valuable Q+A time with the instructors. I loved getting to watch my husband learn this new skill! So grateful this company made it so easy to treat him to a fun a prize. If you're an onlooker, it's not the most ~glam~ area to relax in, but watching is possible! If you can bring a chair, a cooler, and a good book, I'd highly recommend it. Something to note is that finding the "launch spot" is a leeeeeetle tricky! You'll definitely want to look it up on a map before going, and having a good navigator with you might help too.

I was personally a bit nervous since I hadn't paddle boarded much before, but every step of the way we felt supported and truly cared for. Hearing about the family's passion for protecting the ecosystem and the manatees, along with all the helpful tips they shared to optimize our experience, was absolutely incredible. When we got to the dock, we were guided so kindly - Mike even held our shoes in his truck for us! When he noticed me struggling a bit, he took the time to give me multiple tips on how to better move in the water and maneuver the board, which made such a difference. We saw so many manatees, including mama and baby pairs, which was unforgettable. When we returned to the dock and shared how excited we were, Mike went above and beyond once again by recommending another nearby location we could walk to where we ended up seeing even more manatees up close and personal. We rented paddle-boards for 3 hours to go visit Three Sister Springs at the Crystal River Wildlife Refuge, and it did NOT disappoint! You cannot swim at Three Sister Springs unless you arrive by watercraft as the refuge is protected, so going on an adventure via paddle-board was a nice relaxing way to explore the area. We saw multiple manatees and even got to swim with them when they came in the refuge (SUCH A COOL EXPERIENCE)! The coolest thing about the manatees was how much trust they put in the people visiting their home. There was a mom and calf swimming right up to people, and I thought how cool it was that she put that much trust into her surroundings as to show off her baby. I highly recommend checking out this company next time you're visiting the area!
