First and foremost, the cost of additional services they recommended after doing the original work, were much more costly compared to just a cursory look online by about 15-20%. Of course, they have every right to charge whatever they choose. I can live with this and in fact am using another mechanic who is going to do the work for almost half. But the real crux the issue was when they dropped off my vehicle, and after they departed, I texted and asked they move the the vehicle to the front of my home, instead they parked in front of my neighbor's home. This wouldn't be a big deal except I can drive it due to a dead battery. They responded with "We are already on the way to do other work we have. That is as close as we could get to where we could reach our tools without blocking traffic." This is an excuse because when they came to pick it up in the original position, there was concern about traffic other issue regarding the location. The had no problem working on in its original location so it made no sense that would be an issue upon returning it. More egregiously than all of this is when they appeared to get irritated with me and made this comment: "There was not a truck parked in front of they way yesterday. Have a nice day!" The exclamation point is snarky and rude and moreover the truck they implied an issue today was also there yesterday and besides truck is in front of a neighbor's house. Moreover, they drove my vehicle to my home today and regardless of anything else could have easily just parked in front of my home. I'm sure this company does good work and this is just my experience, but I rarely give critical feedback unless someone gets testy with me and that is the single reason I'm writing this review.

In the store the other day, I overheard one of the employees speaking with a young girl and her parents about a Pokemon watch battery they had replaced. i guess the watch wasn't really built for long term use ( or had broken ?) , because the gentleman was explaining to the girl that they needed to replace the watch. Not only did he address her by name, he had personally researched replacements as well as the names of the Pokemon featured on the watch. The family walked away delighted, and rightfully so. I called them and was told this was normal with a new battery as it "learned" a new vehicle. I was told to drive it about 20 miles and all would be OK. My wife got stranded in the middle of a 4 lane highway. The truck required towing to a mechanic. Found the voltage regulator failing. They insisted that any reputable battery dealer would have checked that when installing a new battery. I called Interstate back and was told, "You didn't ask us to check the system". Not good.

A quick jump got me going, and with little time to spare, I drove to this O'Reilly, requesting a battery check. Jess brought the machine out, checking my battery, and the system. Alas, my battery was dead. Jess showed me all of my options, helping me choose the battery that was right for me, after showing me all of the options with a wide price range. As Jess worked we were able to chat. I was so impressed with Jess's desire to help others. As we stood outside, me in a suit and Jess working on my car, I was treated with so much respect. Jess also worked quick, and I made it to my appointment on time. I cannot thank Jess and the team at this O'Reilly enough for getting me back on the road and on to my appointment. After watching a 10 minute video on the best way to replace the battery, I opted to find a place that could do it for me.
