I ordered a battery for my Mazda CX-5 online and included free install for my appointment. Due to the complex nature of modern car electronics they cannot always swap a car battery because the vehicle would need software recalibration. At first, when I arrived at the store there was an issue in regard to the above info. However, the folks at the store took the extra time to research what I already knew, my car doesn't need anything special after a new battery goes in. My new battery got installed quickly and efficiently. YAY! Do make sure you check your car's requirements in advance. All I had to do in mine was turn the AC and Radio back on and roll the windows up and down to reset auto-window travel. Job done! I appreciate this store took a minute to discuss the situation with me rather than just saying, NOPE! As a result, I drove away happy with a new, reasonably priced Duracell Ultra Gold under the hood. Highly, highly disappointed! No effort to help at all (bought a car battery online that was sent to another store). Employee 1 was flippant and snippy. I came in to get a camera battery on Mon., 6/14/21 and the sales associate ( I did not get her name) started to look up the correct size. Unfortunately the computer on the desk wasn't responding. Ditto the other computer. She used her phone and still nothing. She then went into the back (to make a call, I guess or to troubleshoot the problem). Either way, she wasn't giving up trying to find the right battery for me. I couldn't get the website to work on my phone either and decided it was the store router. About 10 minutes in (all the while she was trying her hardest to find that number) the computer suddenly worked and I could complete my purchase. Other stores may have said sorry, come back later, but she tried her hardest to come up with a solution...and with a professional attitude, never showing frustration or a bad word about the company as other businesses sometimes do. Came to this store today looking for a rechargeable battery for my flashlight. A young black male was sitting in the office, never greeted me, got up came to the desk and just looked at me. I asked if he had a battery that would work this Fenix flashlight. He said "I wouldn't know". I showed him the battery and asked if he carried one that looked like this. He spent about 10 seconds looking at his computer and said "no we wouldn't have anything like that". His entire demeanor let me know he had no interest in helping me. I bought a gel cell battery here today. I felt like the staff went above and beyond to answer my questions and helped me find the right battery for my application. The battery needed to fit inside of a pelican case and not only did they have the battery, but " the Curley-haired guy" ( from the review below) even removed the old battery and connected the new one for me. Customer service is horrible. There are always two guys that work here. One is okay, but the other is just plain rude. My first issue was that a watch battery stopped working about a month after they replaced it. I went back - to have another watch battery replaced, (yeah, I know it was stupid, but I didn't know where else to go,) and I asked how long the warranty was on their batteries. The rude guy just scoffed at me like I was crazy and told me there wasn't any. Despite the rudeness and lack of warranty, I let them replace the battery in the other watch, an almost new Skagen. When I got it home, the stem fell out. I knew better than to take it back to that place, so I took it to a jeweler to have the stem and battery replaced, only to find out that he stripped the stem, and it will cost more to fix than the watch is worth. Which is over $100. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO GET YOUR WATCH BATTERIES REPLACED!!! read more

Been to this location many times now. I've had several family members also go to this store. They are fast, friendly, polite. Buy a car battery, they install it, warranty and stand behind it. My mother went, wasn't even aware she had a month warranty left on her car battery. They go out to install the new battery she bought, came back in, told her it was still under warranty,changed it out,refunded her money, cost her nothing! She would have never known. Had a GREAT experience here today. My daughter was handi-me-downed a Minnie Mouse toy but it required some tiny batteries and I was out of my depth. Went here and was helped by all 3 employees there but this guy with curly brown hair and glasses went above and beyond. Installed the batteries and my daughter's face lit up when Minnie came to life! I visited this store today and had a pretty rotten experience. I attempted to return some thing that I purchased for exactly $7.99. The clerks refused to take the return because it was past two weeks. I will not be returning. I can buy batteries from Walmart and cheaper at that. read more

This Store is horrible I came in yesterday to purchase some batteries that i had seen on the batteries plus website and when i came in I greeted and ask if they could help everything was fine then and I told the associate that I was fine at the moment when i didnt see the batteries then ask for them by name he ask me if it was for personal or commercial use even though I found it odd..I replied personal he said he couldnt sell them to me ..I just wanted d cell batteries so i ask for a manager to speak to out comes a lady and she was pleasant at first and then when I showed her the batteries plus website on my phone she then said it didnt matter she knows what the store policy is I as what the corporate number and the district manager name and that is when she seem to get mad. I Then went to my car to look it up myself and i called the number on the individual website with no success and I looked up surroundings store and I called and was told that wasnt the case so I ask the associate to double check with the manager and i explained what happen and she did and I was told she would put my name on them and have them waiting on me and I then went back into the store to ask for the manager who name is crystal and the guys were standing around looking when i came back in so when i ask for her one the guys said she was on the phone with the police and I was thinking surely she wasnt calling the police because there wasnt nothing going on ..well he went back to tell her i was waiting and she said loud enough were I could hear her Im on the phone with the police and they will be here in a minute I waited for her to come out and i ask for the rules stating that ..her attitude was different she was very sarcastic and raising her voice which made me ask her why are you raising your voice at me she said cause I asked her the same question twice there were people in the store . now looking at us so i ask surely you didnt call the police on me and if so I will wait to speak with them because i know i had done anything wrong...she replied yes she was on the phone with them but they are not coming she just said that ...IF that is the norm then the franchise store is an embarassment to Batteries plus corporation..
