After watching a 10 minute video on the best way to replace the battery, I opted to find a place that could do it for me. Ordered a fob 5 weeks ago with the promise of a call soon to pick it up. Never got a call. Called them and was told it would be in soon. After being told this again I went in person to check and was told it might be in tomorrow. I asked for a refund. Seems like the personnel turns over a lot and don't know what they are doing. read more

Can I give them less than one star I bought a battery and now they're telling me that since it was dead 2 weeks after I bought it that it doesn't have a warranty that voids the warranty that the only way the warranty is any good is if it's functioning fine that seems a little backwards to me be careful what you buy be careful where you buy it as they say buyers beware watch out for batteries plus Don't go near them run the other way read more

They efficiently installed my car battery and, while I waited, one of the staff members assisted me in resolving my phone's charging issue by cleaning the charging port. Gabriel has helped me several months ago with my car fob. He replaced it but at the time I was assuming the fob was good for the life of the car as the batteries are. However, coming back a few weeks ago and dealing with the woman associate behind the counter. I wasn't real thrilled by her attitude. She stated the fobs are only good for 6 months and that she couldn't fix it because she didn't have the right equipment. She deferred me to another store. read more

Please be cautious purchasing any batteries from this company. I made a $200 mistake thinking I could try this company. We purchased a $200 Duracell Battery and started having issues with it not working right away. When my husband went into the store with the battery and receipt; their customer service was terrible and they wouldn't stand behind the product they sold us. No exchange offered. I'm not sure if it was an old battery?...but the battery was not holding a charge. Do yourself a favor and look at other battery suppliers. Tried to return a package of batteries (3 batteries in package) on October 27, 2020 that I paid $17.31 for on October 5, 2020. I was unable to return the item because even though I had the receipt, the store does not honor returns after 14 days. I was attempting my return 3 weeks after purchase. So now I'm stuck with batteries I have no use for. During this pandemic period we are experiencing, it would of been appreciated if flexibility could have been used to complete my return. In addition, I contacted the Batteries Plus Customer Feedback website......,HAVE GOTTEN NO RESPONSE FROM CUSTOM FEEDBACK!! UPDATE: Received a response from Frank M. (Business Customer Service) to contact the store manager Lars. I just spoke with Lars on the phone and received the same response I got on Tuesday......Can't do a return if it's over the 2 week purchase date. Disappointed. I wanted to recycle some old fluorescent light bulbs but didn't want to dive down to the city collection site that is free. B+B website said "We take our environmental responsibility seriously, so you can recycle your spent light bulbs, fluorescent tubes and more with confidence" leading me to believe they were good stewards of the environment and did it at no cost for their customers. I was wrong, should have read the fine print further down the webpage that said "fees may apply". This location wants $6/bulb to recycle them. Wow. Customer service was lacking. Employee acted as though I interrupted something they were doing in the back room when I asked them to help me find the correct battery I needed. I will not be going back. read more

Very upset with the service here. I got my IPhone X screen repaired here 2 days ago, to begin with I got my phone back and they neglected to fix the camera. So I got my phone back and the camera was still broken with a fixed screen over it. I dropped the phone for the first time today WITH a case and screen protector and the phone cracked. Do not come here for screen repairs, the quality of the glass they replace the screen with is nowhere near the quality of the original screen. I went into the store and they said that they couldn't do anything about it and I called customer service obviously upset and they do not seem to care about their customers at all. If they had enough confidence in their phone screens they would put a warranty on them. read more

I've had two phone screens replaced here and never had issues with either. My problem here is with the service attitude or lack there of. Each time I've been here (about a year apart) the I hate my job and why are you here attitude has been present each time (same people each time). The work has been great, shame the employee greeting attitude isn't better. Wonder what a change would do to profit and business growth. As with every battery, there's a positive (+) and a negative (-) terminal. Shame that this Batteries Plus (+) has a negative (-) atmosphere. read more

Got phone screen fixed. It started cracking a few weeks later. Even though they say that their work is covered by warranty, they just accuse you of dropping it, even though there is clearly no impact point. Store workers had attitudes (probably from having to deal with frustrated customers upset they don't stand by their work). Manager never would return call. read more

I purchased 2 automotive batteries online for pickup at the N Tarrant location. BEFORE I paid, I called to ask about shipping/arrivals on items not carried in store. Surprisingly, on the Monday night I called, the manager, Lars was in; and I "luckily" was able to get my order in to be included on the current order, thanks to Denzel. I was told about 5-7 business day is standard, but we COULD have it by the end of the week, since the manager was still there processing orders. I then placed another battery request 2 days later. That one was received a few days later and picked up. I have since had the pleasure of dealing with Daniel on all subsequent encounters. First, when picking up a 2nd battery ordered, then again when I returned to recycle the old one. And a couple of times over the phone when I've called. I was told it would arrive by Wednesday- since that's when the shipments arrive. SO NOW,...it's been 2 cycles of shipping & a couple of days with the holiday...surely it'll be in. Today when I called to inquire the Coronavirus is now being blamed. OH!!! hmmm.. but the other items weren't delayed (maybe from a different location-ok) BUT... I have called and been to the store several times in between, And you never thought to mention this before. And the cherry on top when asked to escalate was that the manager is off today, so I don't really want to bother him on his day off. BUT YOU ARE OK with someone not having a car battery after being given misinformation, and haven't bothered to follow up for over 2 shipping cycles. No one WANTS to be bothered, but when you have someone's $$... it's kinda your problem to deal with. I have no complaints. I took in an IPad with shattered screen for repair. They have to send the iPad off for repair which takes 5 business days. The process went exactly as explained. Came back on time. The staff was very friendly and courteous. Hopefully I won't ever have this issue again, but if I did I would go back to this store. read more

I would give this place negative stars if possible. Worst experience ever. I dropped off an iPad for screen repair on January 25. It was promised to me on February 1. I called January 31 to see if it would be ready a day early since we were leaving town. Never got a return call. Stopped by the shop same day (January 31) to see if it would be ready. No iPad. Nobody even could decipher where the iPad was. I was then promised it would be ready by the promised time of February 1. Got a call February 1 that it's going to be delivered that day and pick it up that afternoon. Went to the store and no iPad. Apparently it had just been delivered that morning to Wisconsin for repair. So bottom line is that it took over a week to get the iPad to the "tech center" and who knows when it'll be returned? Nobody does. And for the pleasure of having my iPad lost in space somewhere I get to spend $130. That is if the iPad ever shows back up. Given their track record it seems unlikely. read more

Went in with an onliappointment. Drove across town just to find out that they did not have the part to fix my phone even though I specified what repair was needed when scheduling the appointment. The customer service at this establishment is beyond unacceptable. It was a 5 day ordeal for something that could have been figured out in five minutes anywhere else, after the battery tested as "positive" as in it was fine, and we were sent home with a battery that actually had a swelled cell and got stranded for the second time in five days. The unwillingness to help efficiently was unmeasurable. Bottom line, they did not want to uphold their end of the warranty promise and made it as difficult as possible to hold them to their promise with a 24 hour wait to charge, when the motorcycle stranded. read more

Hubby's screen broke on his Apple 6 plus 12/31/2016-took it in to get the screen replaced and his phone worked but had a few dark spots on the screen. In March his phone would randomly start typing or calling people. We had just moved and put his sims card in an android until we could get back in. Went back in 4/30/2017 since it was still under warranty and they replaced the screen. Worked in store, but when we got home it started doing the same thing. Took it right back and was told they would have their specialist look at it. After 2 days, hubby went to check on it and was told it wasn't their screen that it was something else and they couldn't help. So, $139 later, we have a broken phone and that is all. Think twice before having them repair your phone. read more

This store is a sham. Don't waste your time. Went here 3 times to fix my electronic device to no avail. Went to batteries plus on Davis Blvd and it was fixed while I waited. I really wish I would have looked at Yelp before I walked in to this store. I would have saved myself the same experience the rest of these reviewers experienced. I went to the store to buy a battery to replace one for a battery back up unit. Receipt says it can be returned with in 10 days (may be 14 days). I returned with the battery on day 3 with the receipt because it wasn't working. They said they had to test it before they would accept it back. They kept the battery to test it. I received a call a couple days later. They said it was discharged and therefore they would not honor the return. The battery didn't work and they won't take it back. Seriously!!! Told them I would come pick it up. Not sure what I will do with a bad battery. I went in to pick it up this afternoon. Before I was able to talk to the employee there was another gentleman talking to him. Sounds like he was having a similar issue. He asked if they would honor the battery's warranty. He was told no and he would have to take it up with the manufacturer. He didn't seem too pleased when he left. The employee went to the back room to get my battery and the battery is not in their backroom any more. I asked him for a replacement battery or a refund if they didn't have the defective battery I bought from them. He said he couldn't do that. He told me he would have the manager (Lars - not sure if that is how his name is spelled) call me. Told him if they didn't have my battery, then they should mail it to me when they do. All the employee could say was he would have Lars call me. I'm not holding my breath. Please save yourself the heartache, frustration and your money. Buy your batteries from any place other than Batteries Plus Bulbs. Too bad I couldn't give them negative stars. read more

I had some of the best customer service this morning today is July 7 it's a Sunday morning yesterday are double gates in our driveway stopped working so I figured it was the battery so I pulled the battery out this morning and Tuckett up their hours on their website and/or say 9 o'clock the gentleman I think his name is Jason was working and had the store opens at 8:45 which I thought was outstanding specially for Sunday he tested my battery three different times and it was reading like a 12.5 we walked over to new batteries tested them and my range was right in between them. He then said I really don't think it's your battery and you might need to call your gate company but he could've easily sold me $100 battery and told me my battery wasn't good and I would've believed him. So I came home I cleaned all the sensors and cords put my battery back in and the gates are working but I just wanted to say thank you for being honest opened before your time. It's really hard to find good customer service. I definitely will be back for any other things I need thank you again for a great customer service... read more

Stay away from the North Tarrant store. I purchased a battery and took my old battery when I went to pick it up. They said their computers were down and could not do the core replacement and that I had to bring it back. Funny they took my money on the same PC. A few days later I went back to the store and with my core in tow and some dumb a$$ clerk did not give me credit but in fact charged me $19 plus I still got charged the day I got the battery so now out $31. Not sure why 1 day its 12 and the next $19. Went back to the store THIRD I repeat THIRD time and the arrogant manager said tough take it up with you bank, Well Batteries and Bulbs I was a happy customer as I have been a customer for a while NEVER EVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT even walk in here. My goal was to get my Iphone 7 plus fixed. First time in, Philip the manager, put a cracked screen on my phone. I immediately asked him about it, and he said oh it's just glue. I said great, please remove it then. He couldn't, and reluctantly changed the screen again. I brought the phone back 2 weeks later because the color and brightness are terrible. After having my phone for 2 hours, they didn't fix anything, and said they were closing in 10 minutes. I explained to Philip that I had the phone there at 3pm would should have been plenty of time to fix it. I said, since I've now spent a lot of time here today, can you please fix it tonight. He said and I quote... "there is no way I'm staying late to fix it". Embarrassing, to have this employee, much less a manager act this way. I will never go back to this location. Wish I could this place a negative star! After taking in a new, off the floor, defective golf cart battery that we bought under a month ago, we were informed that it would take 24 hours to try and charge it to verify that it was in fact bad. I came back with my husband 24 hours later to check on the battery and was informed that the battery was currently sitting at the same level of charge (25%). We told the employee that the charge had not changed and we would like to get a new one. She called her manager, Lars Christensen, who was at the Lake Worth location. He told me that it would have to charge for 2-3 days. I told him that was not what we had been told and in fact, in talking to another location, we had been told 24 hours by that manger as well. He gave me a line about not having a strong enough charger. We argued over this and what a good store manager should do to handle this situation. My husband asked for the franchise owners name, which Lars slowly gave me (Wayne Merritt). My husband tracked down the owners number and talked to him about the situation. He stated that charging the battery should take about 24-48 hours (not 2-3 days). He then admitted that he had a battery that was still trying to charge after four days. Both the manager (Lars) and the owner (Wayne) proceeded to give my husband and I both the run around and could not have care less that they were practicing shady business practices. We will never shop from any Batteries Plus Bulbs again! Now lets see how long it takes to get our battery replace! read more

DO NOT BUY YOUR BATTERIES HERE! I bought one of their Duracell Ultra batteries that they tout so much. It died in 5 months flat. This is with using their Battery Tender brand charger to maintain. Apparently if you bring in your battery with less than 10 V charge on it they have a policy not to replace it. This was never divulged at the time of purchase. The huge signage in their stores advertising these batteries state things like "Maintenance Free" and "Keeps Charge in Storage". The battery that this thing replaced was a 6 year old Deka that was hardly ever charged. The Duracell had been on the charger up till the last time I used it a month ago. The ATV had only been out twice and the second time I kept getting electrical warning from the bike like the battery was bad. It took me a month to bring the battery back in and I guess it completely lost its charge. The sales associate started spouting off all of her extensive battery theory as to what "may" have happened. It was apparent they train these people to not warranty batteries at all cost. This was a 24 month FULL replacement battery dead in 5 months. I have never heard of this? Do yourself a favor and don't buy Duracell and definitely don't buy from Batteries Plus Bulbs. Got to Battery Mart or Amazon and buy Deka or YUSA! read more
