I only shop O'Reilly's locally if i need something ASAP other than that i shop on Amazon or Walmart online for automotive goods. This place is overpriced on a lot of items and they charge 3x as much for.I paid $11 for the item I came in here to get which is $7.99 at Autozone,but i was right next door at the carwash so I guess i paid for convenience. A $1.25 hot wheels car goes for $3.49 and $10 for a 5 pack I usually get for about $7.99. I had to tell my grandson no to getting an Indy hot wheels that was $11.00 for an $7 car. So they will definitely stay right there until they drop their prices. . Not a bad visit but it is expensive in here if you're in a rush get it here but if you can wait do some price comparison before you purchase anything here. Customer service here was horrible today because the 3 men working here looked at me as if i wanted to stand and wait as they gossiped behind the counter possibly ignoring my existence. JoJo came from the back of the store to help 2 female customers and myself out all while the other 3 looked like Caltrans workers watching JoJo do the shoveling as they leaned on their shovels gossiping about something. I was about to ask for a price match to see if they did it but I was already frustrated by time I made it to the register. Overall an ok visit but Ill definitely wait for JoJo to star checking people out before I head to the counter next time. read more

With auto parts stores only 3 things matter... Customer Service, do they have your part and is the price good... in that order. Tonight I needed to fix my Mercedes key fob. I was sure it was the battery but wasnt sure how to remove the cover. Luckily I was getting my car washed next door. Lawrence greated me and went to work to solve the problem. I needed a tool to work on my truck and the website said that it was in stock at this location. I ordered online for pickup and over 4 hours later and nothing. I kept checking email and finally decided to call the store. The rep that answers the phone has HORRIBLE customer service skills. I asked him what the status of my order was and he said, "what order." Then I had to tell him what I ordered (I had already given my name) and he said they didn't have it. Now I have to wait another 2 hours. I'm usually pretty patient so it's not the waiting that I'm rating. I'm specifically rating the lack of customer service. I live close by, but I may have to go to another store going forward. read more

This review isn't going to be long, because they made sure my visit wasn't. Gary is amazing! He was so kind and so helpful, and made sure we were getting the best price for the part we needed. Not only did he do a code read for us, he took the time to calm our fears by letting us know most of them were related and that it likely wasn't going to break the bank. He was personable, professional, knowledgeable, and so helpful. Like I told him today, Gary was totally my MVP! They have a great selection of fun gadgets, car stuff, scents and smells for your home on the road (if you're like me and commute daily, it feels like I live in my car part of the time). Give this guy a raise! He provides the sort of service that makes you want to keep coming back and makes you feel confident in an area you might not know much about. Thank you, Gary! I had a very upsetting experience today at this Oreillys. Stunned me because I rarely run into such callous treatment. I came in this afternoon to return an item I'd recently bought and whose quality was very low for the price I'd paid. To be a nice customer, I even grabbed something to exchange and put a dent into the refund I sought. Imagine my surprise when from the get go of the procedure SAUL treated me horribly. The entire time he treated me with contempt, condecension, disdain, and disrespect. I remained polite but spoke up in objection to the unacceptable way he was treating me. He didn't want to refund me for the item because according to him, it wasn't defective, and open (how would I have found out otherwise what a poor quality product it was???). Balking and judging me. Absolutely no desire to ensure that I was a satisfied customer. Devin, an employee nearby, actually looked over and chuckled at me in a derisive manner. At this point I felt I was dreaming, so shocked I felt at the completely callous treatment I was receiving. Another employee, Lawrence, walked by and unsurprisingly didn't give a rip about helping me resolve my dilemma either. Finally a man behind me who'd watched at least half of this disrespectful debacle spoke up and told Saul to quit while he was ahead and just process the refund for me. I really appreciated the man's compassion yet how ridiculous that a customer understood good customer service better than Saul who works there at O'Reillys. I'll never step foot again in that or any other O'Reillys. I've patronized their stores all over California for years but no more. I will not PAY to be treated badly. Crazy. read more

I don't know why it became so difficult to obtain an air filter for a Ford Fusion but O'Reilly came thru in the clutch big time. Maybe I was just being cheap, but there's no way I was going to pay $30-40 just for an air filter. Made a trip to this location and sure enough they had one of the filters I was willing to purchase. $20 out the door. The staff were super friendly and we got to talking about different car parts and manufacturers. Overall I had a pretty good experience with this business. There is another auto parts store closer to my home, but I've had mediocre experience with those folks. Chip card reader wasn't working at this location and there was a small wait time in line. Every auto parts store claims to help install batteries, but when I arrived they claimed they were understaffed. Well, not O'Reilly. I walked in on a late Sunday afternoon and asked to have my battery checked. I knew it needed to be replaced, I just wanted confirmation. The employee happily rolled out his work cart and checked the battery. Indeed, the battery had to be replaced. I was given a price, I checked it online, and I found that it was competitively priced. Not bad. I bought the three year and had it installed. I was in and out in thirty minutes. Not bad. Come here to get your battery replaced! read more

I had a radiator start leaking so I came here for the coolant, hoses, clamps and a thermostat. Everything was correct but when the clerk was billing me I saw I was being charged for a warranty on antifreeze. I asked and he told me "o that's just included with the antifreeze so I can't take it off" He insisted it wasn't really a charge but it definitely was. I asked why and he said it was to cover a bad batch and what not. Dude I worked auto parts for a decade and I can't recall ever seeing a bad batch of this stuff. Plus on the shelf it says 16.99... now if it were for recycling I'd get that but I'm not paying for a warranty on antifreeze... that's some b.s. even if it was just $3.50. I'll be sticking to buying from other stores even though this one is so close to my house. read more

I had yet another opportunity to visit this O'Reilly Auto Parts store on Coffee Rd when the battery on my car died yesterday. i have to admit that I know very little about cars, but I DO know that you can't drive, much less start a car without a battery (duh). my neighbor's son took a few precious minutes out of his busy schedule to open the hood of my Volkswagon Jetta and help us get the battery out, but my neighbor Tina and I were on our own to procure a new battery and replace it in my car. Tina insisted that we go to O'Reilly Auto Parts to accomplish this acquisition. She says she goes there quite often and they always take care of her. I'm not suggesting that there aren't advantages to being female. I enjoy having men open doors for me, change the bulbs in my ceiling fixtures, or walk me to my car in a dark parking lot. What I don't enjoy is the patronizing glances and tone of voice that some males force on us when it comes to repairing and maintaining our automobiles. I once had a man stop me in a parking lot where I was topping off the transmission fluid on an old car I once owned which had a slow leak. He asked me, in a very condescending voice, if he could watch, since he'd never seen a female maintain anything under the hood. I resisted the urge to say something sarcastic back, but it was clear he had a low opinion of females. I have experienced the same type of misogynistic attitude in some auto parts stores, so I never know what type of reception I am going to get. We two women walked in the door carrying the old dead battery and announced that we needed a new one. We were waited on very respectfully by John, the assistant manager, very respectfully and efficiently. He inquired what type of car we were purchasing the battery for so that he could look it up in his computer to see what options they had in stock. I gave him the information about what year my Jetta was and did not skip a beat when I didn't know the answers to the next question (what the h@!! is a cylinder anyway, and why do I need to know how many my car has to purchase a battery). Anyway, he figured out what I needed and I was in and out of the shop in well under 5 minutes with a new battery and I smile on my face because I'd been treated respectfully in spite of my limited automotive knowledge. After one nearby autozone misdiagnosed my alternator issues and the other one sold me the wrong one, which in turn fried my battery, I started to lose faith in them. Then when neither one had the $10 cable to test my alternator in their $8000 machine, I decided to look elsewhere. This store was a breath of fresh air. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. They let me borrow some tools to check my car, the manager went out of his way to make sure I was satisfied and educated. OK I've been in O'Reilly's like one time before. Today I went to A-1 battery on Rosedale Hwy because I had a problem with the Optima Red Top Battery they sold me in 9-12. It would not charge and was only holding 10 amps. A-1 would not honor the warranty without a receipt despite the fact there was a sticker on the battery (that they put on it) showing when it was bought. So I left with my battery and went looking for another Optima dealer to get it replaced. My expectation was that I would turn it in for a core charge and buy another Optima battery. I happened to be nearby the O'Reilly's on Coffee Rd and saw on the internet they were an optima dealer so I went there. I was telling the clerk my story about how bad customer service was at A-1 and how I was never going to buy another battery from them despite the fact that in 40 years of driving I have never bought a battery any where else. The store manager, Chauncey, heard me talking and took interest. He honored my Optima warranty and I walked out with a new battery with NO CHARGE! I was absolutely floored!!! I explained to him that I was willing to buy a new Optima and I really had no expectation that they would be honoring a warranty from another dealer. He explained all of the dealers get their Optima's from the same place and it's the same warranty no matter who you get it from and it really made no difference since he could see the sticker in place that showed when I bought it. He told me A-1 could have done the same thing but chose not to. So despite the fact that O'Reilly's really isn't the closest auto parts store to my house I will be going there for all of auto parts needs. They understand customer service...BIG TIME!!! read more

This store is close to house and therefore convenient for quick parts....kind of. The last several times I have been in here the service has been BAD!! Last trip, 5 employees in store and two at counter with one on the phone! Irritating! 15 minutes to buy a quart of oil. I have started going to Autozone on Ming where their customer service is great. Walking in the store is likening walking on a car lot....they are all over to help you and eager for you to pay and get you on your way. Worth the extra drive!! read more

Store has everything! The employees are very knowledgable and are explained a lot to me that I wasn't sure about. Kelley turned my brake rotors for free when I bought pads for my car, you won't find anyone to do that for you at autozone! This location went above and beyond! We had a run around with O'reilly's at two other locations. One told me that they didn't price match, the other one couldn't provide the rotor turning service because they didn't have a certified employee to perform the service. So I was frustrated at this point. I called and explained the run around I had with the two other stores. The manager Jon took it upon himself to apologize for the other two stores. He helped me find what I was looking for, even offered to drive it to whatever location I was at. I told him I was already in route. He told me to ask for him and he would take care of me.
