This is only my second time having to get my windshield repaired, and this time it was a replacement. I wasn't expecting that because GEICO doesn't seem to be aware that Vermont requires a replacement if a crack is more than the size of a quarter, not the usual dollar bill from where I moved. However, before I even learned that I had missed my afternoon appointment and they were happy to reschedule me for the next morning. But when I arrived the next day, that's when I learned I needed a replacement instead of a repair. They were able to schedule me back the very next day. And they did an awesome job! It looks as good as new. The people there are also super professional and friendly every time I've stepped in the place. Hopefully I won't ever need another windshield repair, but I know where I'm going as long as I'm living in Barre!

Cliff, Dominic, Jacob... and the gentleman hidden beneath my vehicle handling the oil drop... In a word: Superlative... In late October... I had mentioned to Jacob about distributing helium balloons to the kids while they waited patiently for the vehicle service in mom/dad's car... it was just a suggestion... I did not think he would take me literally... But he went further... I was the destination of the idea he ran with... After a 5-minute wait, I received an oil change today in addition to a safety check... tire pressure check... vehicle lights... and car wash... (the high center brake light assembly was also changed!) With humor... aplomb, dignity... and professional assessments of my truck... And... Jacob handed me a coveted red helium balloon... If I had known the truck would fail inspection, then why would I spend over $300 on the old change and air filters? The order in which the two services occurred is DELIBERATELY DESIGNED so that the company can MAKE MONEY before failing your inspection. THIS IS SURELY NOT A GOOD BUSINESS PRACTICE. BUYERS BEWARE. The person answering the phone ordered the correct window and got me into their Montpelier location within 48 hours. The technician was ready when I arrived for my scheduled appointment time. He quickly got to work, showed me what was wrong with my car, and explained what was going to happen. I was out of there quickly and without any hidden costs or fees. While I hope I never need their services again, I would definitely use them if the opportunity presents itself.

I was told to expect to take an hour but they had the entire front windshield replaced within half an hour. The glass was attached, but needed some time to settle, but they gave the ok to drive home, but to just leave the windows cracked for a bit. They have reasonable pricing for the glass and labor and the employees were really nice. I'm a little sad though since I only had the new windshield installed for about 1.5 weeks, before a dang evil rock was sent flying by a truck and cracked the windshield again. I at least know I'll be returning to replace it when I have the funds to do so again.

I bought a Subaru Forester from them that was presented as being in solid condition, with no rust. Within a few months, it failed inspection due to significant frame rust. This wasn't minor wear, it was serious enough to fail state inspection, which makes me question how honest they were being at the time of sale. I ended up taking a huge loss on the purchase. Beyond the condition of the car, the buying experience itself was unpleasant. I felt talked down to and patronized throughout the process. The salesperson, who may have been the owner, also made unsolicited pro-MAGA political comments that made the environment even more uncomfortable and unprofessional. Looking back, I regret not trusting my instincts and walking away. I would strongly encourage others, especially women and people of color, to be cautious and consider taking their business elsewhere.

She helped me to find the correct replacement tires to suit my needs, and ensured the correct date and time of my appointment. Her communication skills were very professional; she effortlessly repelled all distractions and offered me her attention which allowed for me to walk away with confidence that my appointment would address my requests. The day of the service provided a faster turnaround than I had expected; they had my Tacoma on the lift quickly, the mechanic made sure to communicate during and after the service of the progress and findings, and the overall end costs were well below what I was anticipating. Once again, Routhier Auto Center delivered upon my expectations with ease!
