They had the bulb but stated it was too difficult to put in to where the bulb was located. There were four available male white associates and no one could help. I thanked them and went down to AutoZone on Robinson Rd. They installed the bulb, it took two seconds, a woman associate installed the bulb, she removed one small panel on the right side, removed the old bulb and put in the new one. No difficulty. So because I was a woman, a black woman, they were all white men, they didn't want to help me at O'Reilly's. For any type of service I usually go to Mercedes of Texarkana or Forza Auto on Lake Dr. but both were closed. Everyone I see I will tell about the unacceptable service I received at O'Reilly's on New Boston Rd Texarkana, Texas

The three guys pointed to her, so i explained what i needed. She went and got me the battery. Now, i was doing a fair amount of business with another oriely's before we moved here. Restoring this or that. In fact, the previous battery was purchased and installed by that oriely's. This one however, straight up lied to my face, claiming that they don't install or test batteries. I double checked with my usual place, found out this was indeed a lie. As a corperate policy they are supposed to test/install batteries unless there is an issue that would perclude this. Not the number 1 selling truck in texas. (I would also mention that i am handicapped and am forced to use a cane. So they leave an old, handicapped man to drag a battery to the truck with a cane. Wouldn't even carry it out when they were supposed to INSTALL it.) If you can't trust these deceptive s.o.b.s about a battery, why would you trust them with a $.10 screw or a $3,000 crate motor. I've not used the autozone next door yet, but our family and our garrages will go elsewhere from now on. I recommend doing the same. These people are a disgrace to the corperation, the community, and autophiles everywhere. I do not know about other locals of this store but the one in Quinlan is run by rude college age…read morewomen who seemed put off by having to talk to my wife and I about ordering a specialized feed for our clients (horses). We were willing to buy a pallet of it and were not asking for any special discounts. This location is closest to our horse stables and it made sense to get the product at that location. We like to shop locally and support small businesses. Most people do nowadays. The first time I asked about the potential for getting this feed ordered, I was told that only one person could order it and she would not be at her desk until the following Monday morning. The cashier was helpful and kind. She took down our information and said she would put it on the manager's desk. I watched her walk it up to the desk, wished us a good evening. Again, was very pleasant. Monday I did not receive a call. Tuesday I did not receive a call. Wednesday I called the store and spoke to someone on the phone who said they were a supervisor and that the manager was busy and would call me back. Two more days go by with no phone call to either myself nor my wife. I was in the area on that following Saturday and decided I would stop by to see what was going on, trying to give the management the benefit of the doubt. The store was busy that day due to some sale or event they were having. I asked a cashier if the manager was there and she pointed outside to the table set up on the lot. I saw a table set up with food and I saw two very young women laughing and chasing each other around like high school kids. I assumed that the cashier must have been pointing elsewhere so I thought I would ask the girls where the manager was. To my surprise, both of them are the managers. I asked if anyone had tried to call me about the feed I wanted to order. One of them was pulled away to handle something, and the other was taking over the draining task of giving me the time of day. I was still behaving myself and being considerate. I was not letting on that I had been ignored for over a week. All I wanted to know was if it were possible to order a product they do not stock. That was all I wanted to know in the first place. The woman said she was the assistant manager and spoke to me in a condescending rude tone about how I needed to understand I was not the priority, there are other customers, and if I would be patient she promised that the manager would give me a call. She turned her back from me and began talking to another young girl and laughing about something on the other one's phone. I stood there until she turned back around and told her I had waited over a week for a phone call to just let me know if it were possible. She rolled her eyes, "yes sir, I realize that, I will let you know, and I will make sure the manager gives you a call." I had already made a decision that even if the feed could be purchased there, I was not going to give that store one single dollar. I went back inside the store and saw the cashier that helped us the original night we inquired about the feed. She had a long line of customers and was also helping the cashier next to her while packaging up something for an elderly woman at the brownie counter. She had the awareness to see me and smiled asked how I was, and if I was going to be able to get our horse feed order. She was clearly busy but took the time to acknowledge me and remembered why I had come to the store over a week prior. I told her that I had never received a call back, and she began apologizing and saying she promised she had left the note for the manager. I think she may have thought I was going to bite her head off, but I told her I knew it was not her fault .I explained my frustration with the way management behaved ten minutes prior. She listened and then offered a suggestion, asking if I was in need of that particular feed soon. She gave me the number to another feed store a little farther away and she told me that a lot of horse owners get their feed there, maybe they would specialize in horse products more than Fix and Feed. She was right. The feed store she told me about had my feed in stock. They do not list their product vendors online which is why my wife and I did know about it. I do not like driving to that store but I am willing to make the drive just so I do not have another conversation with the management at the Quinlan Fix and Feed. Since then, many of our clients have complained about the management of that location and shared similar stories with my wife. I have never been disrespected in such a way, especially when I was trying to give them regular business, possibly buying a pallet of specialized horse feed at full price monthly. The Quinlan store employees are professional, considerate, and seemed to care. The management should take some notes. I also asked for the owner to call me, left an email on the store website, and have received no communication.
