The first place only told me where the two sites that had my needed battery in stock. So, I showed up to the second place, this one. They were unaware I was on my way and what was needed. My understanding the process should have been the first place should call and confirm the second site had the required battery and what was going to be expected. They had not. So, this place took control and satisfied my warranty and was very pleasant to work with. Too bad they are not closer or this would be my go to place for battery needs.

Technology was exceeding the ability for my older iPhone processor and battery to keep up and what I really needed to do was upgrade my phone. Rebuilding batteries is no longer done, however Bubba can and does many other types of mechanical work such as brake pads, tune ups, and much more. The shop is old and sometimes crowded but don't let that fool you, Bubba does excellent work and he's fair and honest and that's what really counts. I know a man that has a Lexus and Bubba has done the work on that Lexus for quite a few years. My car was in recently for new brake pads and I could not have been more pleased with any part of that transaction. I do not hesitate to recommend Jones Battery Shop to anyone.

Disappointing Experience with Poor Service…read more In August 2024, I brought my iPad in for a battery replacement. Unfortunately, the new battery failed to perform as expected, depleting within an hour. I contacted the company in December and returned to them in January--well within the warranty period. At that time, Juan assured me the issue was resolved and advised that if the problem recurred, I should bring the device back. Regrettably, the iPad continued to behave as if it still had its original battery, draining quickly even with notifications turned off and no apps running. When I called today to inform Juan of my decision to return the device, he refused to take responsibility for the defective battery and declined to honor the warranty. Instead, he insisted that I pay for another battery replacement. Given that this is the second time I have received a defective battery, I find it unacceptable that the company expects me to pay again for a product they provided despite knowing it was faulty. I am extremely disappointed with their service and cannot, in good conscience, recommend their business. If it were possible, I would rate this experience a -10.

I needed a fan belt slightly longer than the one I had for my '56 which has a 350 cid engine from who knows what. Me: "I need a fan belt about 1" longer than this." Her: "What kind of car is it?" Me: "Doesn't really matter. It's not the original engine." Her: "I have to know the car so I can find the correct belt." Me: "I don't want the correct belt, I want one the same width as this but 1" longer. Her: "I don't have them listed that way." Me: "You can't just take this belt and find one the next size larger?" Her: "No." Went to NAPA. Paid more. Same request from me. Response: gave me three belts to choose from.

The young lady I spoke with was unconcern with my problem, so I requested to speak to a supervisor. She told me no supervisor was available and she would have someone call me back within 24 hours. It's now 11/24/2024 and I haven't received my refund nor a call from anyone concerning my refund.
