I have to say I'm very disappointed with the customer service at this location. I came down here to pick up a gas container for my lawnmower, thinking it would be a quick transaction. I understand that there are customers ahead of me and I was very patient until five minutes later with nobody recognizing that I'm there in line waiting to pay a $20 container. I understand one sales person was already helping a customer out at the register while the other one was assisting a new customer besides myself. I waited there in line... No recognition... No eye contact or any kind of response response from the employees. I just walked out and won across the street to AutoZone. Maybe they have a better customer service than O'Reillys. I've never really had good customer service at O'Reilly in the past and I don't think I'll be going back there anytime soon or ever. Could your associates be any more rude? At first I thought I was exaggerating but nope I am not. The only person who has ever treated me respectfully and with courtesy has been the lovely woman with pink/red hair. I'm either spoken to rudely or skipped over completely. Usually im looked at and then skipped. I've visited here dressed in my best and with my scrubby work clothes on. I'd say this is not a good way to treat a customer. A military Veteran or female for that matter. When the gentleman at the register was informed he skipped over me twice, he was just oblivious to it. He then cashed me out without a word. No sorry for that let me get you over here.. or I didn't realize there was only one line...even though I've been working here and the rules don't change over night. If it weren't for the simple fact that I absolutely needed my oil today, I would've rather went elsewhere. 5 stars to the one employee who is actually friendly. read more

2 stars for this parts store?!?!? Geese that's harsh, haven't read any of the bad or good reviews, I only post my own experience and Then I come here and see everyone else's... Where do I start.... Started last week when I called in for ABS sensor for my Custom TAHOE. Someone answered, helped me out, had 1 in stock and had to order from an other store and will be there same day... awesome! It's a win. Fast FOWARD into the week, I arrive to pick up my ABS lines and I'm off.. well the guy handed me off to someone else to CASH me out. It's cool, it's cool. Now. Few hours go by, (same day btw) I call into the store and needed FRONT brake pads and rotors. Someone answers and despite him being busy helping customers in the store. And despite him saying hello every 10 seconds, he answered my questions and said he had them in stock SO, I decided to go into the store. I go in and 2 people are working, a guy and girl. Obviously the guy helped me over the phone and wow! He helped me before and he always gives EXCELLENT service! He doesn't rush you at all like others: he takes the time to search for the right parts and compares brands... compares as in ie; SIZE, PRICE, WARRANTY and DURABILITY. All while , he MULTI-TASKED answering phones, and greeting EACH and EVERY customer that walks in! Pretty distracting and irritating hearing the phone ring over and over and nobody answered but he did. Instead of having valuable time one on one, CUSTOMER and associate, he had to stop what he's doing to answer the call! Yes , customer service comes first , but above ALL, CUSTOMERS inside the store ready to purchase parts come above all, FIRST then a phone call. Oreilly needs to hire someone just to answer the phone cause that was irritating, bothersome and above all, distracting to the customer, ME, and the associate helping me!!! With all that said, ERIC is my go to man for anything. If he's not there, I won't bother with anyone else. Called to get a price check on a regulator. Phone rang for approximately 6 rings, Phone was picked up and hung back up. The store manager needs to supervise teach train and develop her associates. Store was not busy, 4 employees and no one said a word to me, much less offered help. Once I used their aisle computer to find what parts I needed, I had to search through what stock they had. They didn't even have the sizes needed that their own computer recommended. I walked through the store to the door, still not one word to me. The employees were busy talking to each other. This was the worst service I've ever received at an oreily's store considering i had came from the oakdale and scenic one in modesto with friendly and helpful staff . then i come to the Ceres , CA one on Hatch rd to make a return on an item i just purchased 2 hours prior in Modesto and the first employee scanned my item multiple times , scanned my receipt , and asked for my phone number many times and the employe told me that it was not on the system or computer and that she would ask another employee to help. As the other employee comes over to the counter without acknowledging me procceeds to scan everything like the previous employee and asks all the same questions the other employee asked and said the same "its not showing up on our computer so your gonna have to take it back to the original store to get your refund" which i preceded to tell them "this is not the first time I've made a return of an item from a different store and to this store specifically" which then the second employee replied with " I'm gonna go talk to the manager and I'll be right back." 6 mins later comes back and says "yeah i cant do nothing for you sorry" Very disheartened i said "okay can you give my this (car part ) part i need" cause i was making another purchase at the same time as trying to do the refund. Once i accepted my fate waiting for the part i decided to call the original Oreilly store i purchased the part and i told the lady my situation and she said that that store on Hatch rd, in Ceres CA always does that and that they have to Honor my receipt and my refund and to tell them to call the other store if they give me touble . so when the employee came i procceded to tell him what the other worker told me and yet he still said no to me that nothing could be done . his name was Jason by the way . so i said " look call the number on the receipt if you can't do it so they can tell you how to do it " so very hesitantly he said "im gonna go talk to my manager" and 10 mins later comes back not too happy either by the way And says "we're gonna be returning your money" i have bad stress problems and these guys put me over the edge to where im here writing this review hoping to help a customer avoid this issue and bad customer service behind a cash register is very unacceptable in any work environment. And not once did the manager come out to help either. I don't know what kind of establishment is run like this but its cringey and disappointing and if any employees are looking at this right now you all should be ashamed of your selves I've never seem laziness so blatant and an i don't care attitude that can ruin your day and if your the manager looking at this " a good leader leads by example" and those bad habits arent there for nothing they are caused by either your neglect of your employees or failure to train them properly. Both unacceptable considering your peers at other stores acknowledge the mess that's your guy's store. If i could give a zero i would. And here's a tip for any customers trying to get their refund if you have a receipt they have no choice. read more

The only reason I have been going to O'Reilly auto parts is because every time I went to autozone it never seemed like I got good customer service. Recently I went into buy some headlights for my car and I know specifically what it looks like but I don't know the numbers and all. So when I go in I give them details for my car and tell them I want the Brightest headlights they had. A gentleman named Gary helped me and gave me basic customer service nothing special. Well I went to install the headlight and realized they were the wrong ones. And this has happened before when they give me the wrong ones 3rd time is the charm right? Well I went back the next day and Gary recognized me from the day before and said " Didn't like them?" I said no they are the wrong ones "Well how do you know that?" And I try to be an optimist person but with the attitude behind the response and how he said it was very rude as if a blonde female doesn't know what she is doing with her car. Thankfully a guy name Alexis helped me and was awesome and Gary was watching him on his computer. I had mentioned that I have installed my headlights before and that I know what I'm doing and Alexis realized there are two types and he didn't give me the right one and Gary said "oh I didn't know that, well the moron behind the counter gave her the wrong one and by moron I mean me." I kept to myself after that and more than likely will not return to this location. I don't mean to sound like snowflake but I was truly upset with how I was talked to here. read more

I just went into this store to get windshield wiper fluid... I walked in no one said anything a lady was on the phone and others were in the back talking. I went up to the front to pay she was still in the phone didn't acknowledge me or put the person on hold to help me or ask anyone else to come out and help. After standing in front of her for about 2 mins she got off the phone I asked can someone help me put this in? Or really no point me buying it idk what I'm doing I've never had to do it before. She said ugh and called to a guy in the back walking out and said do you have time are you busy can you show her where her windshield wiper fluid goes? And he said it's the thing with the windshield on it. So I said I'll go somewhere else that isn't fucking rude! I went across the street to autozone! They were really nice and helped me! I honestly didn't know it was as easy as it was but if the people at the other store took the time to show me I would of known being rude to someone paying for something isn't right. read more
