I came in to look for an oil filter and I was in the back checking and the store had literally no oil filters so I had the older lady come to the back and asked me if I needed help and I responded politely with " no I'm just checking to see if you guys have what I need in stock" she walked away. Then the other older gentleman in the front asked her if she had helped me and she responded to him " I asked him if he needed help and he said no because we don't have his stuff in stock yet. Today, Myengine light came on my vehicle and went to O'Reilly's on Peck and Lower Azusa to get it checked since they been advertising Free engine light check. Unfortunately, their equipment to check the engine light was stolen and directed me to the O'Reilly's on Valley and Garvey. The lady at the counter said they could not check the engine light due to covid even though the other O'Reilly's would have given me the device to check the engine light if it was not stolen. "Karen" then lectured me on how they should NOT have done that since it's a policy due to covid with NO apologies. Crap, i've been going to OReilly's for over 10+ years. I then called AutoZone and they were happy to assist. I was able to diagnose and identify the problem and AutoZone printed a report on the parts needed. Thank you AutoZone for accommodating during this pandemic. It was a great run O'Reilly's, you lost me as a customer. Felt great being in 3rd grade again listening to a lecture from Ms. Karen. I call a nearby store asking about a core refund for a battery I purchased at a different store. The guy on the phone asked a coworker can we accept a battery from a different vender. ( I can hear the other person response telling him) yes we will accept the battery but it will only be a store credit of $10 dollars. I was in the area and needed a headlamp. My poor Toyota Celica, "Cecilia" (thanks for giving her a name, Jessica Y!) has gone through 5 headlamps within a two year span. I think I'm gonna upgrade the lighting system soon... :P Well, I needed to replace that lamp because I didn't want to risk a ticket for something I was negligent for over a month now! o_O For the record, Kragen is now O'Reilly Auto Parts. Their staff was nice, efficient and quick to locate my product...which they do not stock on the floor. The younger one didn't want to help so she had the other older one to help me and man she reallllly didn't wanna help me. She kept sighing and making annoying remarks. 11/16/2014 around 2:30pm on a Sunday. Came here looking for generic vacuum hosing since I know they sell it by the foot. Asked Luis if they had any and his facial expression just looked like he didn't want t to work or as if I was asking a dumb question. I specifically showed him what size and again, gave this look like I was wasting his time. He asked what car it's for and I told him it didn't matter. I just needed x size and x length. After a bit of running back and forth, he asked me to step aside and wait for him while he helps someone else. I was clearly here first.. I don't know why I need to wait. Nevertheless, he continues his run-around and I asked Tony for his help. Less than 2 min, I'm out with my part. Tony was helpful but Luis, Completely unprofessional and lack of enthusiasm to work, makes me wonder, "why work at all." These people seem lazy and uneducated.
