I then discovered that my 99 Suburu Outback 30th anniversary had a transmission that was only used one year for that model. As a result, I spent a month trying to find a transmission to replace mine. I almost gave up until I contact Ann at Brighton Truck Parts. She told me that she had one. I asked her to send me pics. I received 3 photos of a perfect transmission with the identical part number on mine. It was the cheapest one I had found and she told me that it would arrive within 7-10 days. A week later, the transmission arrived at my mechanic's shop. Three days later, I had my car back again after not having transportation for 35 days. It came with a warranty and I have been doing a great deal of driving in a variety of situations such as going up steep hills and discovered that it performs perfectly. They had Ozium for sale and I was tempted to buy some just to spray it in the store. After I had everything taken apart I was pissed off to learn that the clerk had given me the wrong part. People make mistakes, I know, I've made plenty, but not because I just didn't give a shit reeking like B.O. . I was lucky to be able to borrow a vehicle and even luckier that Napa was close by the shop I was working in. Patrick helped me out, double checking the right parts, and I even bought some Ozium there to bring with me when I return the wrong pads to the stinky Advanced Auto Parts. Must include that normally AAP is a good experience and I get the right parts no problem, I blame the clerk.
