I discovered they used the wrong oil on the last visit when I went to check out! They also suggested a service they did not have the tools to perform. Offered a lame discount. WOW!! 10 stars! My husband and I are fully mobile and typically change our own oil on the road in our F350. However, we did NOT expect the high winds present here in Loveland. At 30mph with 60mph gusts, there was really no hope of us changing the oil cleanly. So, we dropped by this Grease Monkey location at 325pm on a Wednesday to ask if they could fit us in and also use our own oil and oil filter. They got us right in. We were fully finished by 4pm and driving away. Didn't even have to get out of the truck! Plus, it was only 38 bucks! The guys also gave us a list of recommended services for our truck, weren't pushy about it, but were sure to let us know that they handled more than oil if we ever needed it. Not only has this positive experience ensured that we WILL revisit this location if we're ever back in town, but I will 100% be considering this business henceforth if we cannot change our own oil on the road in other states. The guys that work here are super nice. Are they professional, no. One of my few cars had the splash guard fall off on the way home from the oil Change, one of my cars had the most disgusting bird/rodent debris I've even seen inside an air box (I found it myself after the service 4 days later) which means they never inspected my air filters. Had another suggestion of additional service needed any spent over $160 dollars at my local performance shop to tell me nothing was needed on my sports car when I was told they found an issue during a routine oil change. I have 5 cars and none of them will be returning here. I gave this shop a few chances. How nice they are kept bringing me Back. But I am done fixing things after every time they see one of my vehicles. read more

The service was great at the Richmond Dr Grease Monkey. I was in and out within 20 minutes. My only complaint was delivered they wanted to charge me $79.00 for an air filter?????? I drive a 2006 Ford Five Hundred and the air filter is VERY EASY to get to. I drove to O'Reilly's and bought one for $19.00 and installed it in LESS THAN 1 MINUTE. Quick and very friendly service! Their prices are affordable and comparable to other oil change locations in the area ($70-$80 for full synthetic) and they usually have coupons on their website. During this crazy COVID situation they are offering sit-in-your-car service if you'd like, or you can wait outside or leave and come back. Came in waiting area and said my rear plate had a bulb out. quoted a reasonable price to change it and I agreed. Later said when he went to change it he saw it wasn't properly installed and put it in properly and just charged a coupe bucks. Very fair and friendly staff. I was in town and not from the area. The electrical on my car was all flashing. With acid corrosion building up every 6 weeks, (after 4 new batteries in 4 years) I bought a buy a brush over a year ago to clean it off myself. It has happened 3 times before and Subaru said we'll just give you another battery. I showed them the flashing lights. The 2 older men at the Grease Monkey on Taft by King Sooper were wonderful. They new the problem immediately. They ordered a new and different type of terminal, cleaned my battery. They suggested at a future time a little bit larger battery Subaru installed a small one. I have never seen such unprofessional behavior. There is a mask mandate now. Apparently this employee thought it didn't apply to him, stuck his face within inches of our driver's face, wearing no mask. This was a blatant disregard for their customers safety. Then to top it off, there was no call or text to say the car was finished. I had these guys change the oil/filter in my daughters truck last Saturday, 1/8/22 and they didn't tighten the drain plug. The truck leaked a half quart of oil in my driveway on Sunday and when I took it back on Monday I literally watched the manager tighten my drain plug. Once it was tight he tried to tell me that my rear main seal is actively leaking...WTF??? There was oil all over the crossmember and the entire bottom of my engine and transmission that came from the loose drain plug, not the rear main seal. Then he tried to top it off with Conventional oil, so he obviously never even read the service report because if he did he would have known that I put full synthetic in my truck. If you want to get your oil changed at grease Monkey, I would suggest you find a different location because the guy running this one is a hack. read more

I usually dread getting my oil changed. But this was by far the most convenient and best customer service I have ever had getting it done. The reviews complaining about upsales just need to understand that you don't have to take them if you don't want to. I will definitely continue to use them for my oil changes. read more

Beware!! I will never return to this place again!!! 4 months ago I took my car in for a routine oil change, they told me I needed a transmission flush and a bunch of other things worked on. I agreed with the flush and had the transmission taken care of the next day. Went in for another routine oil change, the tech came out and said my car needed a transmission flush, I said no, this Grease Monkey just did a transmission flush 4 months ago. The manager, or I assume that's who he was, came back out and said I think there's oil leaking into your transmission. He then hands me a card to a mechanic on 1st, tells me to go see this guy, he'll charge me $35-ish just to look at my car. This all sounded odd, so I called a real mechanic who looked at my car for free and he said oil can't leak into the transmission!! I am now wondering if they even flushed my transmission 4 months ago, after I paid close to $200 for the service!!! I have been going to grease monkey for years, the staff seems to change frequently and it appears as though I am constantly getting scammed. Beware! read more

What a great place! The service people are friendly and the Manager, Rico, is superb and knowledgeable. Check the previous (not so favorable) reviews and the big change has been in the Manager. Rico is new since the start of 2017 and it has been a complete turnaround for the service and the atmosphere. I highly recommend this place. read more

First technician that checked me in was surly, though the lead tech was pleasant. Wait time was okay as they weren't to busy at the time. Up charges for light bulbs, air filters and wipers etc. are usury IMO. Don't think I will go back. read more
