They are…read morealways very helpful- batteries are a little higher side priced but reasonable- and quality is worth it they are always great with if there are any issues with the batteries & rechanging the battery if it loses it's change for some reason. Most recently had a car not be used in almost a year and the battery had no charge at all when we tried it- took it in to get tested & since it was still under warranty and not really charging they just switched it out for a new one quick and simple. [but if it had been able to hold a charge they had also been willing to recharge it for me for free] Shout out to Ty for the great customer service even though I caught him right before his lunch break.

My mower wouldn't start this morning - the battery was showing only 9 volts on my multimeter. I…read moretried charging the battery, but it wouldn't charge. I had purchased this AGM battery 8 months ago in hope of getting a more rugged battery, as I was tired of replacing batteries every year. The battery I chose had move than enough power to start my mower and was designed for deep discharge (I had used them for marine purposes in the past). Though this battery was actually designed for scooters/wheelchairs, etc., it served my needs well for 8 months. This battery also came with a 12 month warranty (though I would later find out this warranty was pro-rated, a fact not disclosed when I made my purchase). The store employee was fully aware of my intentions for the application of the battery and had no issues whatsoever. I went to the Battery Source store in Ocala to get a replacement battery. I had the extreme displeasure of having to work with the manager of the store. Instead of simply saying the battery was defective, here's what I can do for you, he went on and on about how this battery was not designed for a mower (duh). He was convinced he had to convert my thinking to match his idea of how I was at fault. Never mind the fact that the battery had an internal defect. I was a bad person for misusing his battery (or something to that effect). He wouldn't stop hammering me with that point. He didn't want to address the warranty until I told him to just stop talking and get to the replacement. It was the I found out the warranty was pro-rated and a replacement would cost me $70 (retail was $100). The best, most powerful, maintenance-free battery at Lowe's was only $65! I informed him that Battery Source had lost a customer forever due to his attitude that the manager is always right and the customer is an idiot who needs to be educated. I have been dealing with batteries from the days of carbon cell flashlight batteries. I know what a hydrometer is and how it was used to measure a lead-acid battery's condition (the closest thing to a multimeter was a Simpson (about $1000 in today's dollars)). I have used/replaced/designed for just about every battery type that has been available for more that 60 years. I highly recommend that you find another store for your battery needs.

They even double checked to make sure I had the appropriate one, and gave me some feedback on which ones work better than others. They also honored a 20% discount that was offered online and that you could only get online, but they let me get 20% off my purchase in the store. After the whole transaction, they install the windshield wipers. Frank, so I guess as a manager? He was super kind. I will definitely come back again if I need anything for my car.

When checking out he was so frustrated with questions that were asked he acted as if he wasn't going to sell/checkout the items I wanted to buy. This type of customer service does not belong anywhere. I've had more than a dozen good encounters at this advanced auto parts and have always been helped TREMENDOUSLY when asking questions. if you can't operate the front desk of an advanced auto parts you probably can't do much in life and life must suck. last but not least Lu has no clue how to operate the computer system when finding parts and Is LOST. Either he put no effort into the training and learned nothing or was trained improperly. Unfortunate I had to leave a comment today but people like this are what make life harder for everyone else. he simply could have remained calm and kept looking for the item that was asked. Please pay attention to who you're hiring. SIDE NOTE : IVE PREVIOUSLY BOUGHTEN THIS ITEM FROM THE SAME STORE. I HAD ANOTHER WORKER KINDLY AND PROPERLY FIND THE ITEM FOR ME TO PURCHASE. This is something that could have been completely avoided if the worker was trained Accordingly and had acted professional. Hope Lu can figure it out for himself as he will have a long Road ahead of him if he acts this way his entire life.
