I ordered a remanufactured one from Autozone and their vendor was not able to provide them one after a 2 week wait. I found Northlake Auto Recyclers online and they had the head I needed in stock and already pulled. It was off a 2018 Dodge Journey. Cost for the head was $125. They come with a disclaimer that heads are for use as cores to be rebuilt only and are only guaranteed not to be cracked or warped. I took the head to a machine shop and the tech said it was in such good condition that he did not recommend rebuilding it and only did a quick milling of the sealing surfaces to be sure it was true and clean for the head gasket. Just started up the car and it runs great. I highly recommend this place. It is not a junkyard. It is more similar to a parts store but all the parts are used. You go in, tell the guys at the counter what you want, and they go in back and get it off a shelf for you. They have tons of parts for late model cars. The employee said they specialize in cars 7 years and newer.

The evening manager who was working said it might just be either the weather or my floor mat that hit it, and didn't want to sell me a part if that wasn't the problem (no check engine light on). It was after 9pm, so he gave me the store's phone number and told me to call once I got home to let him know I got home safe, and if the problem occurred again on the way home, he would pull the part for me and stay open until I got back (they were closing at 10pm). I got home safely, and called, and he told me that he has a mom, a wife, and a daughter, and that he was worried about me, and just wanted me to be safe. Was so incredibly nice to hear a stranger cared. The next day, my check engine light went on, and I came back, and Tea put the diagnosis thingy on, and it was my brake light switch. We found out that the part was $27, and she told me to either watch a YouTube video or find someone to change it out for me, because lots of places won't install a part you bought somewhere else, and it wasn't in the easiest place to get at--it was easy to install, but you needed to lay under the dash and brake pedal to see where to install the part. Later that afternoon, I picked up my kid from school and we went back to AutoZone, and my kid was willing to install the part. I had to buy an adjustable wrench, but we were able to install the brake light switch in the parking lot. Thirty bucks out the door, and my check engine light is off, and I'm not having problems with my brake lights. There are folks that might whine that I should have just gotten the part to begin with, but I feel like the staff cared enough to make sure I wasn't spending my money unnecessarily only to have to spend more. I'd certainly give them 10/10 stars if I could just for their concern and understanding. Hopefully my car will be good for a long while, and if anything else happens, I'll definitely be back because of the great customer service! They won't steer you wrong, and they actually do care.

(Mind you, the screen was completely shattered, but she still had all functionality on her phone.) I just got tired of her cutting her fingertips trying to use it. So I take it there 9/9/17 for $129.99 repair. Two days after repair, my daughter complains screen doesn't respond well. I call store, the assure me that it takes a few days for response time to correct due to difference screen being used on phone that isn't similar to Apple. On 10/18/17, a month a few days later, my daughter wakes up and says screen isn't working at all. I take to store and Dan, the same guy that fixed it; tells me they can't warranty it or service it because there's a small crack on phone, that automatically voids the warranty. He then attempted to tell me that this small crack is considered hardware damage & could cause the swipe functionality not to work on the screen. (Mind you, the screen was completely shattered when I took it to them, yet the swipe still worked on the phone!) This place is a complete joke & does whatever they can not to assist with warranting their work. I'd highly recommend NOT using this place or doing any business with them for your electronics. I would've given it zero stars, but you can't submit review unless you select at least one star.
