I contacted several businesses for quotes, but most places I contacted were closed on the weekend or they wanted $400 for the job. Brakes-N-Axles was a God send and I could tell the reviews were right about this business upon pulling into the lot because they were jam packed! I was surprised when they didn't send me away because they were so over-booked. They quoted me a decent price (lower than any of the other places I contacted) and the service was fast! They test drove my vehicle to make sure it was safe for me to drive and that was that. I will say this, they don't talk much, but I imagine that I don't talk much when there is work to be done. I left there happy and satisfied.

It felt more like guesswork than competent repair work. I eventually took the vehicle to another mechanic, who quickly identified the actual root cause and repaired it for a fraction of the cost I had already spent at this shop. To make matters worse, the second mechanic also found defective work from Brakes n Axels that is now causing additional issues. Paying repeatedly for unsuccessful repairs is frustrating enough, but finding out that previous work was poorly done makes it even worse. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this shop. I also found out that they charged me for a job that they never did and when I confronted them, they got very rude and told me see you in court crazy how they went there, but I guess that's what we will do then do not trust these people. They will charge you for things that they do not do. They are not good people. Do your research. They also have a F with a Better Business Bureau.

I'm a full time RVer x 2 years. I went to the Hope Mills store after going through miserable…read moreexperiences with the Garner and Greenville stores. The store was not busy, yet customer service was nearly nonexistent. Retail staff avoided engagement and could not help with a simple request to plug in and test a clearance couch. When I asked multiple times, I was brushed off and eventually told "they're just like that." At checkout, concerns were argued instead of addressed. Sales staff showed no interest when I asked about RVs. I left carrying a large boxed item and my dog, without assistance. Very poor in-store experience. They lost a lot of money from me. Besides the couch, I was looking to buy a generator. Also, just like my retail experiences in Garner, they constantly push and overtalk a Good Sam membership.

There were some minor things I noticed that were damaged, and I asked about a warranty. I was told there was no warranty on preowned campers. When it came time to seal the deal it was a whole different story. Couldn't do anything about the price because now it was not preowned, but a leftover. This place has no integrety, do not deal here. Everything we were told was a lie, and just a means to cheat us. Deby Z.

He asked for my phone number and when I gave it to him. He said he went back four years and didn't find me and walked away. After a few minutes of me looking for the receipt in my email. I asked if he could look up my name. His reply was "everyone thinks their name is unique " I then asked if he can try my email. His response was a waive of his hand saying "one of them can if they want. I guess referring to his coworkers. I never raised my voice or said anything that might offend him, but from the first moment I felt like he didn't want to be bothered. So I stood there trying to figure out what to do next because I paid 250 for the bad battery. Then a young man came into the store " Mr. Olivencia " and immediately asked if he could help me. I explained what happened and he asked for my phone number. He immediately found my purchase receipt. He then checked my battery again and agreed it was bad and spilling acid all over my car. He quickly changed my battery and apologized for the bad experience. That young man is worth a million bucks. His customer service is excellent and if I ever go to that business again and don't see him. I will walk out and not spend a penny. The gentleman who treated me badly was an older gentleman who surprised me because I'd expect him to be the professional and not the young man. Goes to show you, anyone can be great or lousy at their job. I hope Mr Olivencia succeeds in everything he does. The other gentleman should be retired and put to pasture. He obviously doesn't want to work. Just wants to get paid.
